Unfortunately, the other massage therapists are not great. High turnover as well: they only stick around for a few months' time and then leave, not sure why. I haven't had a facial, so can't speak about those services. The spa's rooms are very close together and even though they play spa music, you can usually hear what's going on in the next room. If you have a massage in one of the front rooms, you'll also hear the people waiting in the reception area. Limited parking in Maplewood, so leave yourself time to find a spot.

But if you're expecting a quiet and relaxing environment like you're at a traditional spa or 5-star hotel, this is not the place for you. If you're okay with noise in the background such as doors opening and closing, people talking in the hallway, timers going off, etc then you won't mind this place. There are separate rooms, but the walls in between don't go to the ceiling, so you can hear everything going on in the other rooms as well as at the front. She didn't ask about pressure, but I'd say she did medium / deep tissue. I'm sure if you want a lighter pressure, you could ask, but I didn't mind. Also, they don't pressure you to tip a certain amount. I tipped 20% because Cindy was great, but I read at some neighboring spas they pressure you to tip a certain amount, which I found to be strange. However, here you can tip what you feel is right. At the end of our conversation (after so much repeating and misunderstanding) she confirmed that everything was all set. I made plans around this appointment, so that my husband could have a fun-filled day on this special occasion. Two hours later, a man called and asked if I made an appointment and who I spoke to. The receptionist never mentioned her name, as she was barely capable of making an appointment for me. The man said people have been booking for times that are not available and he would have to get back to me. Two hours later he calls and says that there are NO times available that day. When I ask about the day before (which is a weekday), he claims nothing is available that day either. Since I am trying to book this over two weeks BEFORE the appointment and he was so quick to say "no nothing is available", I am assuming it's just this one guy working at this place. I would rather take my business to a more professional environment and I am doing just that!
