Ditto to all the previous reviews. Good waxing places are hard to come by and these are the rare places where everything is perfect. Melissa is quick for those who want to get eyebrow waxing done during business hours, 15 minutes max. She does facials too. Her waxing was painless and did not aggravate (especially with my sensitive skin, this is a godsend), and she was an expert in shaping them nicely. The atmosphere was just amazing, i felt like i was in a retreat spa, very clean and comfortable, with nice relaxing music and a beautiful lounge area, perfect to de-stress. Will definitely go again, you should too!! I went back again! I was so impressed with my brow waxing experience here yesterday with Melissa that i booked a 60 minute swedish massage for this morning. I am sitting in their paradise of a lounge area sipping on a complimentary organic tea having had the most serene massage experience ever. It was the perfect balance of pressure on my muscles, i have been struggling with headaches caused by long hours in front of my desktop. This is my 4th massage in the Summit area in less than 2 months and this was by far the best! Lori has done more in 60 minutes of heavenly massage than the others combined! I cant recommend Lori or Benessere or Melissa enough. They were all amazing. Key attractions; 1. private parking, free 2. The Spa looks amazing, High end ambiance, ultra clean, as soon as you enter this beautiful building the smell is gorgeous, the music is relaxing and sets the tone and mood for pampering. 3. I was so impressed by Benessere wellness center and Spa. This was my find of the year so far. The staff are very friendly and professional. I arrived a little early and as soon as I walked into their stunning space I was made to feel like I was their #1 client, I was offered bottled spring water, a selection of organic teas, and I was invited to enjoy their wonderfully peaceful ambiance. I went for a 60 minute Swedish massage which is my usual choice. I travel internationally for work and massage is my go to time to unwind and de-stress while I am away and as soon as I return home so I know what to expect and knew what I was in for (well, I thought I did). However, this experience far exceeded my prior visits to any other spa!, Anywhere!. It ticked all the right boxes from the moment I walked in to the time I left. My massage was just perfect, the right amount of pressure, not too firm, she (My massage therapist Lori) seemed to just know where all of my stresses were and removed them with ease. I felt invigorated afterwards. Best massage i have ever had. The pricing was very reasonable for what I got, especially in the summit area. Benessere is now my new home, away from home. Benessere Personal Training is so much more than i have ever seen or experienced from a personal training studio before. Colin is the absolute best. I have never met any fitness professional anywhere with the extensive anatomy knowledge or the intuitive practical application of body mechanics and functionality that he has. I am a senior professional in my 50's and i work in NYC, Over the years i have used multiple high end trainers at studios like Equinox, RBF, Sculpt, Tone House etc... all claim to be the best of the best but ill tell anybody who asks... Colin is on another level Completely! Not only was he able to help me correct chronic back pain, but he helped me to become more aware of my own bodies dysfunctions, once he had corrected these he worked with me to achieve optimal health through corrective and postural exercise, inner core re-patterning, posterior chain re-balancing and so so much more.. I love Benesserre, wish I found this place sooner! After trying expensive, super trendy frenetic gyms, Beneserre in comparison is a zen, calm oasis. As another reviewer pegged it, it is like heaven on earth. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and clean with tons of positive energy. I use both the gym and also go to Colin for personal training. Colin is amazing and really knows his stuff. He has almost a 6th sense in knowing how little or how much to push you on any given day. I leave every workout with Colin feeling invigorated. Colin's talent really lies in his ability to adjust his approach to the individual. I first came to Colin after years of inactivity. He gently guided me to becoming regularly active again and enjoying workouts, while building strength. Trust me, that was no small feat! I stumbled across Benessere one afternoon as I passed through Summit. Upon entering the space I immediately sensed the calm atmosphere. It is a Center for Wellness that offers an array of services such as yoga and fitness classes, personal training, massages and acupuncture. Everyone who works there is so helpful and kind. I started seeing Benessere's acupuncturist Karin Rodriguez. She used a treatment on me called Jin Shin Jyutsu which is an ancient Japanese Healing Art and an alternative to acupuncture if you have a fear of needles. By the use of her hands, she completely cleared blocked energy pathways to flow freely. After a few sessions, Karin miraculously helped my vertigo, which I have been suffering from for years. She goes above and beyond and makes you feel so comfortable. She is wonderful and I highly recommend seeing her! read more

My family has really enjoyed working out with Colin at Benessere. I have 2 teenage boys and Colin has introduced them to weight training, teaching proper techniques and workout regimens in 1x1 and 1x2 classes. He has a great private weight/workout studio for 1 or 2 people and he really knows his stuff. He focusses first on strengthening the core which has given all of us much better posture and readied the boys to lift weights with a proper foundation. Teenage boys don't listen much to their fathers about weightlifting but they do listen to Colin and I feel better knowing that they are lifting correctly. Colin is always professional and courteous and has given the boys a few workout routines and has discussed their diet with him. Best experience I've ever had! My husband surprised me with a deep tissue massage and a facial as a birthday gift. The massage was perfect- all of my concerns were addressed and I left feeling stretched and relaxed. If you're going for a facial you must see Marilyn. Since having my daughter, my skin hasn't been quite the same and I was nervous I would leave there looking like a red, blotchy monster, but Marilyn knows her stuff! I walked out of there without one red mark and my skin was soft and felt better than it has in 2 years. I purchased only one of the products that they used while I was there, but have been following Marilyn's advice on how to take care of my skin and I haven't had one break out since (went about 3 weeks ago)- she is amazing. read more

I travel for a living so whenever I can I schedule a facial and message. So when I heard about Benessere from a neighbor of mine who goes there regularly for a "Marilyn facial" I had to have one. I was impressed. The space is fantastic, very lovely and beautiful designed. The staff is friendly and attentive. And my facial with Marilyn was exceptional. She chooses aromatic creams and cleaners and explains what she is doing and why. Her message, exfoliation and cleaning are both gentle and invigorating. At the end I felt refreshed yet very calm. I can't say enough good things about Benessere. The owners, Lori and Collin, are really warm and welcoming. In fact, everyone who works there is. I have been taking Nia at Benessere since they opened. These teachers are without a doubt the best in New Jersey. And,the best part is that the other members of the classes are so friendly. The classes at Benessere are so beneficial and you get the most to your dollar. Even if you go to one class you get so much information and you learn so much about what exercise or stretch you're doing and how it affects that muscle. You can go at your own pace. The amount of weight is your choice. I get to challenge myself to my own max even though it may not be as extreme as someone else's. The atmosphere of the whole facility is top-notch. I LOVE this place! It is peaceful, spiritual and beautiful. The staff is wonderful. I followed my esthetician Marilyn Palmer from another spa because she is one of the best people I have ever known. She is very positive and passionate in everything she does. She goes the extra step to make her clients feel pampered and special. I constantly get compliments on my skin and recommend her to everyone. If you have not experienced a facial with her you are doing yourself a disservice. I would give her 10 stars if I could! This is a beautiful, serene, spiritual place. I have taken NIA classes here for almost three years now. The owners are wonderful, caring people. Our NIA teachers are fabulous. What is NIA--movement without pain! Non Impact Aerobics developed by Debbie Rosas in the "80s. I am in my 60's and this mind-spirit-body movement has made me feel both mentally and physically well. It is well worth trying! I have found it to be great for my own health and it has improved my flexibility. We are so happy we found Benessere, recommended by our insurance for Karen for acupuncture. I find it very warm and relaxing. Both my daughter and myself have had Laurie for massages and she is amazing. The staff have worked with us and truly care about my daughter's well-being and health with their caring ways. Great place. Very friendly, relaxed and beautiful space where you can train in a more intimate environment vs. a huge impersonal gym. Colin the owner really knows what he is talking about and will rework with you to adjust things to fit your personal needs. There is a private weight/workout studio with plenty of equipment, and a great space for group classes such as yoga. I have taken personal training and core classes and definitely see an improvement.
