I called them yesterday for an appointment for my mother and I at 4:11p unaware that they were closing at 5 and I was a good 25-30 mins away, but they were more than willing to wait for my mother and I. Even though I offered to come another day out of respect and principle. This already started them off on a good foot because my old regular place would have told me to come back another day even if I made it 50mins before closing. I arrived with my mother at 4:38p and when I walked in I was greeted and asked to confirm my name, the woman who ended up doing my nails confirmed with me what my mother and I were looking to get done and we both were seated immediately. The place was very clean and orderly. All the women were nice. I wasn't too sure what I wanted done besides wanting a full set. Lynn (aka Lynn 1, lol) asked me what I liked I told her coffin shape and simple for work.. she asked what colors do I like on my nails and I told her I love the soft tones of pink and she offered if I would be willing to do pink and white ombré nails, I told her sure because I'm not a fan of French tips... shortly she got to work. She took the time to ask me icebreaker questions like where I was from, how did I find them and other things to make me more comfortable as I am already a very self-conscious person. She didn't rush, which is what I greatly appreciate and am so grateful for because I know how it feels to want to get off of a long shift at work and go home but no one rushed not even with my mother getting a pedicure, eyebrow waxing and S&S manicure. They took their time. I can't stress that enough. Lynn 2 is also a delight, although she didn't service us, she still made it a priority to assure my mother and I were comfortable as well. Who knew just a 12 minute drive to this East Hanover gem would result in the greatest customer satisfaction! They set the tone for the kind of service you should get at ANY place of business! It was a first for me doing the ombré style and for my mother doing the S&S set but I am very glad that we took my cousin's advice and called LV Nails & Spa. When pedicure was done, I sat there for 20 more minutes with no one offering to do. The same girl with the attitude did my nails and was clearly not happy about it. Then they charged $10 extra for doing something I didn't ask for. All in all my nails took over 2 hours and my pedicure chipped on the way home. NOT GOING BACK.

They called to cancel my appointment with one day's notice, leaving me a cheery voicemail, apologizing for any inconvenience . Management never returned my phone calls when I called repeatedly asking to speak with somebody. And they continue to send me emails, reminding me to book an appointment for service they no longer offer. I have heard from former employees that management treats them poorly, messes with their schedule and has no respect for keeping customers aligned with the person who you have established a relationship with. To me this demonstrates a disregard both of their employees and their customers. I understand that businesses can choose to make decisions based on a variety of factors. I am not writing this review based on their decision. I am writing this review based on their handling of their decision, which, in my opinion could not have more poorly. Instead of upselling me, she exclaimed, "Oh! Your lashes are great! We'll just do a lift and tint - and that will be better because you'll be in a humid tropical environment in the water all day every day". This kind, honest person saved me $150+ in cost, and was thoroughly sure I will not look like a demon troll on vacation in every photo. In our session, she did a fantastic job talking me through the process to ensure I understood what the steps were and how things were going to go/feel.
