Strawberry smoothie

The spot is meticulously clean, which I immensely appreciated. It's also small, so it makes for a great placeto find solitude and deep relaxation. Even though the food menu was short, (Only two items are offered) The food we had was fresh and delicious. I had a really nice Asian / Korean body scrub, but it was more on the side of a relaxing vs. invigorating when compared to other Korean spas I had visited. Gloria did a great job, and I really enjoyed getting to know someone who had recently moved to the US. The major con, and my main gripe with this place was that when I arrived, I told them I wanted to view the facility (after I paid admission) before booking any procedures, the woman at the front desk told me no , i would have to pay on the spot ( every other spa I've been to allows you to pay when you are leaving) And that she had to book me immediately, because she was " squeezing me in, due to so many other customers being there. I reluctantly booked the service, which I shouldn't have done. Once inside the spa, I realize that my suspicions were correct, that no other customers were there, it was a very slow Monday. I really dislike being lied to, so would not return to the spa. We left shortly after our body scrub and massage were done, feeling uncomfortable in a business that pressured customers and did not display honesty.

Note: it's only 4 stars with Groupon prices. At full price, it is a 2.5-3 star place at best. This spa is right on the side of a highway so make sure to look carefully. Parking is not too plenty. Even when the place was very empty, the parking outside was almost full. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can ask them about Groupon pricing in the front desk and they will give you a discount. (Comes with a smoothie) There's 1 sauna, 1 steam room, 1 jacuzzi/pool, 1 dry sauna, and awesome massage chairs. (they are all very small) Most areas are for both genders. This place is not really big and the amenities are definitely lacking. If this place was packed, I think I would feel very uncomfortable. You can order some snacks and food from their limited menu. The prices are high so I would recommend eating before & after you come.

This place was the BEST out of ALL of the spas and bathhouses that I've been to. The customer service was Excellent, Warm, Friendly and Attentive. The facility is GORGEOUS & SPOTLESS!!!! When you visit, you can't help but to relax. I will be coming here for any and all of my spa and massage needs from now on...NO where else can Compare!!!!!

Sorry to give this place one star. Walking in it's just lovely and decorated nicely. We had to pay for our massages upon arrival. You read that right- paid BEFORE the massage. I let that oddity slide. I got a deep tissue massage and it was the worst massage I've ever gotten. I was never asked about my health history prior to the massage and I'm pretty confident that my masseuse wasn't licensed or educated on proper technique. He was nice, asked if the pressure was okay, but it was just a super lame massage. He spent 15 minutes massaging me with a sheet on. He bent my arms and legs in awkward ways. He ran out of time to massage my neck and head which was super disappointing but not surprising. Also, the table was the most uncomfortable one I've ever been on and he didn't put anything under my legs to support me while laying face-down. It wasn't a quiet or soothing environment either- I was able to hear when new customers arrived, people talking, doors closing, etc. While getting my robe on an employee opened the door without knocking. Didn't even apologize. After the massage I went to the main area and went to the massage chairs. This was way better than my "professional" massage. I stayed there for 30 mins! Sauna was nice and seemed pretty clean. The steam room was so intense and smelled like mildew, I couldn't stay in there for more than 10 seconds. The jacuzzi IS the pool (jets can be turned on and off). It'd be nice for them to have a big sign that says SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING THE "POOL" because the oils from our massages were floating on top of the water and it looked pretty nasty. We didn't think to rinse off before entering, which is our bad, but a reminder would've helped! They provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in dispensers in each open shower stall (there was only one with a curtain). I noticed each shower had different colored shampoos, conditioners, and body washes. Left me wondering what I used to clean myself with. The body scrub table was in the shower stall area and had little privacy. Super awkward for anyone who was to get a scrub or shower at the same time. There were a few toothbrushes and toothpastes scattered around the shower area- do the employees live there? While getting dressed I noticed my boots were wet after being in my locker. Ends up there was a ton of condensation dripping into my locker. This place was really strange. At times employees were no where to be found except for when we were leaving- they were like vultures. I tipped $10- I couldn't tip any more because the massage was so unenjoyable. One employee stopped the group I was with after we all tipped (2 put their tips in envelopes during a time the employees were missing). The lady pointed out my friends and told them they needed to tip. My friends said they did and the woman started looking for the envelopes. She found them and opened them to check. She also asked my friend if she tipped 20%. Who does that?! The nerve to ask for tips AND if it indeed was 20%! If they really want that extra money, they should just include a fixed gratuity charge on their rates. Aria is a shady place run by people who have probably never had proper training on how to manage a spa, treat customers, give massages, and communicate effectively and politely. I'm truly baffled they're still in business since my reviews are similar to other 1 star reviews from many months ago. Save your money and don't get a massage or "treatment" here. Please. I'm begging you. P.S. Why would they need to be open till 10pm every day? Seems like another shady oddity to me...

Is this spa still open? I've contacted them like 4 times and no response.

Is this a Koren Spa where there are segregated bathing areas you have to be nude...like King and Island Spas?

I graduated almost 4 years ago from ITM. I had been looking into Massage Schools for many years,…read morenever signed up because timing wasn't right...or I just didn't "feel" that the school was right for me at the time. After meeting with some of the staff, I knew that this school with going to give me the knowledge, and skill-set that was needed to succeed in this field. The instructors that I had for my courses of study are second to none. The really have passion for what they do and it shows in the way they take you under their wing and guide you every step of the way. I highly recommend them whether it be a career choice or continuing education courses! T~

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE BLOOMFIELD LOCATION:…read more I hurt my neck and it was getting progressively worse, was given a prescription for physical therapy but unfortunately it was going to cost me a lot of money for a month of treatment, I figured a massage was good for what ailed me and found ITM's student clinic, which was close to home and oh so affordable. I called for an appointment and heard from them next day which the website indicates that when the clinic is not in session there wouldn't be anyone manning the phones. I showed up really not knowing what to expect since it was my first massage and I was hurting like the dickens! Well, I'm hooked and made another appointment for 2 weeks, my Therapist Lakia was so sweet and soft spoken and we both humorously managed my massage, you fill out a form in the beginning with your medical history and she asked me if there was a part of my body that needed focus, I said I had hurt my neck, well she found all of my knots and spasms and worked them out, I felt IMMEDIATE RELIEF!! As I told Lakia when she asked how I was feeling I told her, if I were a cat I'd be purring!! The place invites peace and tranquility, when I first arrive the hallway leading to the place was dark, it looked closed, until I tried the door, then I realized ok, it's the atmosphere, I waited a little then was called in, the treating area was softly lit, with soft classical music playing, the bed/table was made up in cute sheets and a blanket, each bed/treatment area is surrounded by a curtain like you would find at a hospital and when closed it was very private (even more private than in the hospital I found) and before coming back in (while I disrobed) Lakia quietly asked if it was ok for her to come in. In the beginning, since it was my first massage, I was uneasy and nervous, but when I saw how professional warm and inviting Lakia was and the overall atmosphere, I was very comfortable, and when I saw the quality of the treatment, it was worth every single penny I paid, like I said, I will be back (over and over if need be until my neck is A-ok!) even mom who is recovering from spinal surgery is sold on the idea and once she is good to go, I'm so treating her to a few massages!!
