My husband and I have been there twice in a year and I am afraid this will be our last visit. I would have given the first visit 4/5 stars; but yesterday's visit was an easy 1 star -- so that's how I arrived at 3. From the beginning this time around was not good; we were asked to pay upfront and the front office lady was really awkward and weird about getting us into the correct couples massage room -- like lady, there is NO ONE else here - why can't we have the nice room? I had requested female masseuses' -- we had 1 female and 1 male -- but we didn't even know until we had disrobed and they were coming into the room even though we asked to meet them first. They don't introduce themselves, they don't ask about health history, they don't ask about pressure...nothing. Just tell you to get under the sheet and wait for them to enter the room. Then the massage was like nothing I have ever had before -- subpar. My husband felt uncomfortable because his massage therapist was not asking him about pressure -- and was barely applying any at all - and taking off parts of the sheet that shouldn't be taken off. My masseur got up onto the table to push onto my back and buttocks-- like what kind of massage IS this? Not deep tissue, not swedish - like WHAT is going on? The first time we had 2 female massage therapists who introduced themselves and asked questions -- this time the therapists were 'james' and "kelly" but we didn't know until we received the tip envelopes -- and they did not such thing. We have been to many different spas for couples massages and this was the first time encountering something like this. The reason we loved the first visit so much was the private jacuzzi and steam rooms...clean, nice, private...this time however, the wet steam room wasn't working -- and were not advised about it at all. The locker rooms are dingy, I saw no showers expect for the one in our private suite/jacuzzi area. Overall, I was not impressed...pay a little more and go somewhere reputable. Aria spa has changed greatly over the years and is deteorating. I was there when it first opened and it was a great little spa with its pools and saunas. it also provided an option that for $20 you could just use the pool and sauna. The entire spa was well lit and very clean Originally the men had the larger locker room with its own sauna and pool. The women had a locker room that you then had to cross a hall to go to the pool. Aria realized that since most of the clients were female that they should have the larger locker room. This was great. The pool was continguous with the locker room. I didn't even have to bring along my bikini! I could take off my clothes and immediately go in the pool. I could luxuriate nude laying down in the sauna for hours. I put on my robe to go the room and be massaged. It was so relaxing just removing my robe afterwards and be back swimming. I could be there for hours before putting my clothes back on. This was when Aria was at its best. About two years ago Aria switched to concentating on couples massages. One pool with sauanas and steam rooms was for couples and the other set became co-ed. The locker room became minisule. The pool area became dark and unclean. Towels were scarcely availableThe salt room now was part of the couples area As time wore on the emphasis was more on couples. The only shower was at the pool and no longer part of the locker room. The whole purpose of Aria was to have a large area where a couple could be massaged and be nefarious In the last visit I could only use the pool for 15 minutes before my massage and an hour after. I previosly enjoyed all the facilities and now Aria is just a massage parlor rather than a spa. I am disappoined by how it deteriorated and is no longer a special spa. Great value for your money. It was a rainy day when my friend and I arrived. We each got a deep tissue massage and both were excellent. They have massage chairs and cozy leather chairs to relax in before or after. The receptionist brought us a pineapple boat, chocolates and wine (we were over the moon) and felt pampered. For the price, you are getting everything you need for your spa experience. My mother and I came in yesterday before closing and the staff were so friendly! It was so special for me and my mom to relax and unwind before she leaves back to Florida, and the staff made sure the experience was amazing. The spot is meticulously clean, which I immensely appreciated. It's also small, so it makes for a great placeto find solitude and deep relaxation. Even though the food menu was short, (Only two items are offered) The food we had was fresh and delicious. I had a really nice Asian / Korean body scrub, but it was more on the side of a relaxing vs. invigorating when compared to other Korean spas I had visited. Gloria did a great job, and I really enjoyed getting to know someone who had recently moved to the US. The major con, and my main gripe with this place was that when I arrived, I told them I wanted to view the facility (after I paid admission) before booking any procedures, the woman at the front desk told me no , i would have to pay on the spot ( every other spa I've been to allows you to pay when you are leaving) And that she had to book me immediately, because she was " squeezing me in, due to so many other customers being there. I reluctantly booked the service, which I shouldn't have done. Once inside the spa, I realize that my suspicions were correct, that no other customers were there, it was a very slow Monday. I really dislike being lied to, so would not return to the spa. (Comes with a smoothie) There's 1 sauna, 1 steam room, 1 jacuzzi/pool, 1 dry sauna, and awesome massage chairs. (they are all very small) Most areas are for both genders. This place is not really big and the amenities are definitely lacking. If this place was packed, I think I would feel very uncomfortable. You can order some snacks and food from their limited menu. Sorry to give this place one star. Walking in it's just lovely and decorated nicely. We had to pay for our massages upon arrival. You read that right- paid BEFORE the massage. I let that oddity slide. I got a deep tissue massage and it was the worst massage I've ever gotten. I was never asked about my health history prior to the massage and I'm pretty confident that my masseuse wasn't licensed or educated on proper technique. He was nice, asked if the pressure was okay, but it was just a super lame massage. He spent 15 minutes massaging me with a sheet on. He bent my arms and legs in awkward ways. He ran out of time to massage my neck and head which was super disappointing but not surprising. Also, the table was the most uncomfortable one I've ever been on and he didn't put anything under my legs to support me while laying face-down. It wasn't a quiet or soothing environment either- I was able to hear when new customers arrived, people talking, doors closing, etc. While getting my robe on an employee opened the door without knocking. Didn't even apologize. After the massage I went to the main area and went to the massage chairs. This was way better than my "professional" massage. I stayed there for 30 mins! Sauna was nice and seemed pretty clean. The steam room was so intense and smelled like mildew, I couldn't stay in there for more than 10 seconds. The jacuzzi IS the pool (jets can be turned on and off). It'd be nice for them to have a big sign that says SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING THE "POOL" because the oils from our massages were floating on top of the water and it looked pretty nasty. We didn't think to rinse off before entering, which is our bad, but a reminder would've helped! They provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in dispensers in each open shower stall (there was only one with a curtain). I noticed each shower had different colored shampoos, conditioners, and body washes. Left me wondering what I used to clean myself with. The body scrub table was in the shower stall area and had little privacy. Super awkward for anyone who was to get a scrub or shower at the same time. There were a few toothbrushes and toothpastes scattered around the shower area- do the employees live there? While getting dressed I noticed my boots were wet after being in my locker. Ends up there was a ton of condensation dripping into my locker. This place was really strange. At times employees were no where to be found except for when we were leaving- they were like vultures. I tipped $10- I couldn't tip any more because the massage was so unenjoyable. One employee stopped the group I was with after we all tipped (2 put their tips in envelopes during a time the employees were missing). The lady pointed out my friends and told them they needed to tip. My friends said they did and the woman started looking for the envelopes. She found them and opened them to check. She also asked my friend if she tipped 20%. Who does that?! The nerve to ask for tips AND if it indeed was 20%! If they really want that extra money, they should just include a fixed gratuity charge on their rates. Aria is a shady place run by people who have probably never had proper training on how to manage a spa, treat customers, give massages, and communicate effectively and politely. I'm truly baffled they're still in business since my reviews are similar to other 1 star reviews from many months ago. Save your money and don't get a massage or "treatment" here. Please. As soon as my party arrived the lady at the front desk immediately asked if I could tip upfront. I said no. She still came back into the room at least 2 more asking for a tip. Never again. I was gifted the 90 minute couples massage for Valentine's Day. To start the staff is awkward. The massage started off okay but they do not ask any questions at the counter as far as health conditions, allergies or pressure preference. It began ok, the pressure was a bit much to begin but she eased up after a while. It went down hill for me when she suddenly yanked my blanket and underwear down exposing my entire buttocks area. I expressed I did not want that and she giggled nervously. I pulled up my underwear and she began to massage me but eventually worked her way back to my buttocks again and massaging it. In the end I asked my partner if she had the same experience and she said no the other woman exposed a tad bit to get the lower back and moved on and that her buttocks was massaged over the blanket. It made me super uncomfortable. I felt violated and it ruined the rest of the experience for me. She and the other woman in the room kept giggling with each other and speaking in their language throughout the massage. They slap your arms and legs and bend your arms and legs in all weird positions which has never been done before at any massage appointment I've been too. The entire thing just felt like they were just doing anything to be honest and I could not wait until it was over. In the end we did not tip them which they seemed highly upset about. I love this spa. It's got lots of space, is meticulously clean and usually always has space available. Many people here seem to be complaining that the pools were closed. They had to shut them down because of Covid! The facility has two pools and two sets of saunas. One set is co-Ed and accessible from the main lobby. Then there's a female-only area which is accessible only through the womens locker room. Going there as a single lady, I find this amenity very nice since it creates a safe spot to just hang out for us girls. The new Himalayan salt sauna is absolutely gorgeous. And so relaxing! I've spent almost an hour in there with a friend just hanging out and chatting. The spa employees even brought us a complementary smoothie. I enjoy the massages and facials. And the prices are way cheaper than most other massages in the area. Of course it always depends on which person you get for your massage but once you get to know the different people, you can start asking for your favorite. Most massages include use of the spa and the massage chairs. Or you can pay a low price and just go for the saunas, pools and to sit in the massage chairs. They have a fireplace and blankets in the chair area so you can cozy up and just hang out if you want. This is probably not at the most high and spa in this area but it is clean, comfortable and offers very good service. For a much lower price than anybody else seems to charge. This spa has updated their amenities and their service continuously, reacting to customer feedback and making improvements. The new receptionist speaks flawless English and is incredibly helpful. I had to pay before going in for my service. Surrender my car keys in order to get a key for the locker. I only gave her part of my keys but not my car keys. I didn't feel comfortable with my car being parked right in front of the building, giving full access to my vehicle while I spend over an hour getting a service done not in view of my car. I sat in the sauna for what felt like 30 mins. I had to walk in and out to get air.She apparently didn't know I'd been there because she suggested I went in the pool to soften my skin before she worked on me. I'm not getting in a pool with no swimsuit on, surprised she suggested it within full view of other patrons, it made me suspicious of the cloudy water in the pool. There were two other ladies there for services. the scrub room (which is open to the showers) was clean enough, but I don't want hard water in my hair, so I asked for a shower cap. Apparently they ran out of shower caps so they gave me Saran Wrap to put on my hair. The scrub was light, I could have done the job myself at home, I had to keep telling her to go harder on my skin, to which she said my skin must be thick because of my skin color. I ignored this and other things she mentioned that were completely wrong, saying my skin has more oils in it and I don't need cream on my skin because I'm dark. I let all of that go and just focused on relaxing. At the end of the scrub I washed up, sat in the sauna, two women there with towels spread out took up most of the dressing room, so I changed standing up. I went to tip, and rather than leave the tip with the front end desk, I decided to hand it to Connie the scrubber (there's only one scrubber so it wouldn't be hard to figure out). With the two women in the room, one of which I knew she opened the tip in front of me and thumbed through it and half laughed and said "this is ok this time, but next time give more." Bad enough to say this to me, but to say in front of other clients? Beyond rude. You want a raise, ask your boss, not the client. Something about asking for more of a tip, makes all the friendly conversation feel disingenuous and only for money. I reached out on their Facebook page and if you look at the photos, you'll see the shocking response I received. You be the judge. Ps, the scrub room was cold. I waited for so long between the steam room and hoping someone was coming for me, then being cold on the scrub table. I don't know if I got sick from inhaling steam with germs in it, or something on the table. But I got sick within hours of leaving there and was perfectly healthy before I got there. Spa has nice facilities available if you get a service. I enjoyed my massage for the most part. The masseuse taking care of me did not close the door all the way during my service which really bothered me. I could hear outside noises during my massage and I was also unclothed.. The massage itself was relaxing and nice. The facilities are clean and it's a plus you don't have to be nude like many spas my friends and I found. In the locker room you have a jacuzzi, steam room & sauna available to use. The pool is not yet open. Few things that stood out to me about my visit: this spa is more of a beauty spa, compared to relaxation/rejuvenation spas. Yes, you can relax here but you'll be on your own. During our time using the facilities, no one asked us if we needed anything or how things were...no biggie, just something we noticed compared to other "relaxation spas". Secondly, the masseuse who took care of me gave me her unsolicited opinion twice telling me I should get a facial since my "skin is rough." I'm sure it was a business tactic, but I didn't ask her opinion. That same masseuse checked us in the morning & knew our times were at 4, but she took my friend and I for our massages 3 and a half hours earlier. It worked out for us but this may be something you want to clarify with the front desk when you come in. There are eating areas so you can bring food which is nice. All in all, nice spa. If you know what a true Korean Spa is, this is the place for you! Like a smaller scale King Sauna. I love these kinds of places. It's a 100% culture shock for people who don't know what they are getting into. Here's a few ideas of what I mean by that. 1. They have you change into their uniforms. You do not get a robe. 2. You WILL be naked behind close doors. Even during your massage, there will be parts that the small sheet comes off. 3. You don't have to get a massage to hang out or have access to the spa. Just pay the day pass fee. It's totally worth it if you want to sit in some awesome massage chairs and go in a HUGE whirlpool. 4. They beat the crap out of you during the massages. (This is actually pretty mild here compared to other places I have been) 5. Showers in the locker room are OPEN. Do not expect a shower with walls. You shower naked with everyone else. 6. They will ask you to shower before you get your massage. This is a MUST. 7. The hot tub pools are nude. Don't even bother with a bathing suit. And hair MUST be up in a pony tail! 8. YOU PAY BEFORE! This is normal for this kind of spa. Betty, my masseuse, is like the Korean mother I never had. Mind you I'm Swedish and Italian. She is AWESOME!!! SUPER CLEAN, and not every person is super pleasant, but the ones who are, are flipping awesome. I would 100% recommend this place, but ONLY if you know what you're getting into OR you have experienced this kind of spa before. My husband and I went to Aria spa for a couples massage. When we arrived, the place was empty except for one woman who was sitting on a massage chair in the front. It turns out, she was one of the massage therapists. After checking in, we had to pay upfront. This was at a discounted rate for their grand opening. After paying, we were told to go sit and that our massage therapists would come to get us soon. The front desk worker vaguely pointed to the massage seats, so my husband and I walked over. As soon as we sat down, two older Korean women came out and called for us. When we did not get up right away (my husband turning off his massage chair and me getting my things together), they kept calling for us. We were led to a room with two massage tables draped with a towel on the bottom, a sheet over the towel and an even smaller sheet on top. The head-rest was part of the massage table and had a towel around the head-rest which ended up irritating my face during the entire massage. With no instruction other than, "take off your clothes", my husband and I got under the sheets (and I got under the towel) and waited. When they came in, they told us we were not supposed to get under all of the sheets, just the small one draped on top. Then, the massage started. Yep - without asking any questions about health history, likes and don't likes, requests, etc. The massage therapists talked intermittently to each other during our massage. My husband, who speaks Korean (they did not know he spoke Korean), verified they did not say anything malicious which is one good feat. They did, however, say to each other that no customers get under the sheets properly, and they didn't understand why. I don't know, because we did not get any instructions? They also commented multiple times how handsome my husband was, both in Korean and English, and how muscular and strong he was. Like, we get it - thanks. I am pretty sure our massage therapists previously worked in a Korean spa or bath-house, . These massages are not in any way, shape, or form similar to the massages you would receive at any chain massage center or massage school in America. If you are looking for a very vague, painful at times massage that is neither deep tissue or Swedish, and love it when people stand on your back and sit on your butt while massaging you, this is the right place. If that is not your kind of massage, I would advise going somewhere else. Now, the massage is done. We are getting dressed, and while we are still changing, they open the door and stick their hand in with two water bottles. After we leave, we go to the front desk and ask how to tip. Now let me tell you, this was the worst massage I have ever experienced, but I know tipping is important. The massage was charged for approximately $100 for two people - so I was tipping $20 total, which would be a 20% for both of them. I hand one massage therapist a $20 bill, and she looks at me and says, "That's it? You need to tip both of us!" We explain this is for the both of them, and she repeats her previous statement. So, I tip another $20 while the massage therapist and the front desk worker are staring me down. Long story short - my husband and I, avid massage lovers, will not be returning. I would love to know if these massage therapists are even licensed, because they did not take any of our experiences into mind. My therapist asked me once - ONCE, how I was doing. And at that point, I am on the bed, and don't want an angry massage therapist doing anything to me while I am slightly unaware. This place falls in the category of below average to sucks. Went for the first time on a Groupon. The only thing accessible was the sauna, salt and steam room. Pool, which is the size of a kiddie one, was closed. Upon entering I show my Groupon and lady greets me asking I want a massage. I declined and said maybe time but then says if you want today it's 20% off and next time full price. Still declined. Only pros i could think was the sauna which was small but effective and the candy dish at the Exit. Have to leave your car keys in exchange for towel/robe. Cmon really? Steam room smelled like mildew, locker room has lockers that don't lock. They have small water dispenser in there that barely works. Salt room nothing to rave about. The photos don't do this place justice! It's extremely clean, everything looks brand new. The staff is super accommodating. I was blown away because everything was perfect. They have two pools, two saunas, a vapor room, They Even Have a SALT CAVE with super comfy modern furniture and pillows....the room is slightly heated which is comfy! a nice locker room which is also clean, there are a TON of massage CHAIRS that you can use yourself easily with the push of one button... And they feel AMAZING!! There's a smoothie bar and other beverages available. You can get a massage of your choice along with a facial for a great price. I wish I lived closer to this spa. I can not wait to go back. I went for a small birthday gathering & we were the only group of people there (five people). The manager was like a personal concierge along w/ the rest of the staff, they made sure that we had everything we needed. So, I don't normally negatively review anything, but I'm sorry, this needs to be shared. My cousin was kind enough to share some gift cards she received with me so I had the day off today and I was excited to have a relaxing massage and spoil myself a little. I don't get to do that often. The massage was late. No biggie, used the salt room and saunas. Then comes the massage. My masseuse left the room to answer a call right when she got started, but was back quickly. Then the bell rang up front and she just left the room to tend to whoever came in. Gone for about 5 minutes. The masseuse next to me doing my cousins massage literally threw a hot hotel on me because she just left me laying there exposed. She comes back, starts again, and 3 minutes later, the bell goes off and she runs to the front. This time she is gone over 10 minutes. I'm angry at this point, and certainly not relaxed at all. The massage was ruined for me at this point . She was out of the room more than she was in it. She goes on to explain that 2 people called out and they were short handed and offered me a free smoothie as compensation, which I declined. I even tipped her . But I was very very disappointed I understand in these unprecedented times these things happen and to have more compassion. However, I think it would have been better business to tell me Up front that they couldn't properly accommodate my massage and have me reschedule at a later date. Sure it, I would have been disappointed , but I would be thankful for the courtesy. I've gotten a number of massages in my time, but never experienced anything like this. Today I went to aria spa for the first time- off to a bad start the lady in charge gave me a robe made me change and asked me to wait I waited for over 40 minutes. I had asked for a full body deep tissue massage for 60 min and an express facial for 30 min.The lady who came to give my full body massage hardly spent 30 minutes. Another lady came in to give my facial. The 30 minute facial was only for 10 minutes. She put on a face mask and left me in the room for about 20 minutes. Another lady came and pressed my legs for five minutes cleaned my face and said that that was it! All the time people were walking in and out of my room shouting and yelling in Korean!! One of my worst experiences with a spa. I would not recommend this spa to anyone. Horrible experience total waste of time and dollars! Really disappointed!! For what it is, it's very expensive. The locker room is tiny.. the jacuzzi was barely even warm, and the steam room/sauna is nothing special. Also very pushy with how they ask for tip, and that's coming from someone who is a big tipper.. the cashier slides the envelope to you and is very pushy about it.. overall It wasn't horrible but I would not recommend it to anyone I know read more

This place is all kinds of sketchy. I do want to start this by saying the massage was good. I did enjoy it very much. However, I went with a group of people and not everybody got the same treatment so there's a little inconsistency there. DO NOT COME HERE EXPECTING AN APPOINTMENT. I don't know what kind of system they have, but it is not working. We had 6 o'clock appointments so we arrived around 4:30 to use the hot tub and steam room. Around 5:15, we heard another group complaining that they had five 3 o'clock appointments and not one of them was taken back yet. This is when I knew there is no way we are going back on time. At 6:10 we asked when we were going to be taken back and they seemed almost confused that we were upset and concerned. They said "sorry. 45 minutes." We'd been there so long already so we decided to wait but I think it was handled horribly and unprofessional. They weren't going to address it until we had. I then spoke to some people in the locker room (who seemed like regulars) and they said you can't make an appointment there. They accept walk ins so if you want to go and enjoy the hot tub until they are ready, you can but an appointment is useless. Seems like a shitty way to run a business in my eyes but I guess that works for some people. This was a gift so i don't know how much it was, but unless significantly cheaper than The Fountain or another high scale place, you're better off spending your money in a better place. P.s. They give you locker keys and take something as collateral and refuse to give you your belongs back until you give at least 20% tip read more

Massage was decent, but manners wasn't.... My boyfriend and I went for a couples massage and likely won't be back. The two women lifted both of our sheets and slapped us on the behinds. I love Aria Spa. It was my first time going yesterday, and it was great. First, the staff were super kind and sweet. We never felt watched, we were not disturbed, and they always made sure we were comfortable. It was extremely clean, the saunas were clean and the pools were as well. The salt room was beautiful, it was my favorite. The massage chair area is very relaxing. My friend and I both got chair massages, they were done well and we loved them. I definitely will be coming back, the staff was the best and I recommend bringing extra cash to tip, because the service is so good. COVID-19 precautions were also taken, which was appreciated. It looks like weekdays are best for a more private experience, I went on a Wednesday and it was so nice. read more

We came here on a whim without a reservation looking to get a couples massage. They were very accommodating and gave us an open 30 minute time slot they had available. We wish we could have called ahead and stayed for the full hour. Very calming environment and they let us stay and explore the spa for as long as they were open. We will definitely return and call ahead of time! read more
