I come here almost every week and they have never made me pay up front nor complained about the tip (I typically tip $20 per hour). They're professional have never offered or provided any additional or inappropriate services. I was given a $150 gift card by my daughter 2 months ago. After my massage, I went to give her my gift card and the 2 girls that were there, who didn't speak English, said new management and had no idea what to do. The one girl was texting, I'm guessing her boss, and translating the message, continuing to say they wouldn't honor it.... I read someone else's review saying it was new management as of December..... so wtf??! I said I didn't have any money. Long story short, I left, never paid, and took the gift card with me!! Wow, The massage was awesome and the girl was so damn hot too. I couldn't believe she had me strip and lay on the table and she stripped too, her body was awesome and what she did with her tongue made me light headed. She finished the massage and took me on a ride, I never felt such joy from joy. The $250.00 was so worth it and I gave her an extra $100 which she was so grateful we actually hooked up when she got done, alice's for some drinks and the rest is history. Lots of interesting reviews, but nobody mentions the place is a front for sex work. They ask for money upfront so the house gets theirs, while masseuse gets paid tip depending on the services rendered . Anyone who doesn't see that is clueless! Just read first review. Came for a massage. They required payment upfront, which is untraditional but fine. The massage itself was okay; however, we will never be coming back here after they tried to demand a 30% tip after the service. Tipped 20%, and they insisted it wasn't enough and they needed 30%. I went here last week. At first I was a little hesitant but I was pleasantly surprised. From a decor standpoint This place is no frills and doesn't boast the look of high end European and American spas but the quality of massage is excellent- haven't seen this quality of body work since I went to massage school in California. read more

Great value , the place was clean and the service was fine. Most importantly they got all of the knots out of my back. Feeling so relaxed. I have been going for a while and most places the people aren't strong enough to really get in there. But this place left me so satisfied. My friend can't tolerate pain and they will managed to give her man amazing experience. Both leaving satisfied with our experience definitely will be back soon. read more

Ocean Spa was taken over recently by new owners and is now operated as Green Ocean Spa although the sign on the outside of the building has not changed. Some of the negative reviews here seem to be from the old owners. My wife and I have been there multiple times under the new ownership and we have found them to be very friendly and we have always been treated with courtesy. We have received great massages and have become loyal customers. My understanding is the massage fee largely goes to the house and the masseuses rely mainly on tips so we try to be generous although we never have been asked for a tip up front or had any complaints. read more

I stopped for during my long road trip for a massage. Boy did I get an education. I paid $60 upfront, received a decent massage, then gave her $23 for a tip, This lady got so mad and ranted about not giving her more. She told me she wanted at least $40 for a tip. I was ready to take it back because of her ungrateful behavior. I am not from Jersey, but $40 is way above my price range for a massage. I will not stop by this place again. read more

The first time there I went as a walk in without an appointment. The woman said it would be a 10 minute wait. She offered a bottle of water and a comfortable recliner to sit in as I wait. 10 minutes later I was taken for my session. The rooms are clean and tables are actually comfortable. There is no beep beep beep at the end of the session, the music is programmed for the length of the session. The masseuse has gone over the time on a few occasions if she was not finished. They are thorough and not rushing you out. I have called and made 5 or 6 appointments since my first session and I have been taken promptly each appointment. Sophia has remembered the pressure I like each time I've been back. I drive 30 minutes to get there while there are other spas much closer to home. It is worth it. read more

Had a $100.00 Gift card for my birthday! Received a really deep massage with hot stones. Was very pleased until leaving when I gave her $20 tip. She became very agitated and said if I come back not to ask for her. She pointed out how hard she worked and threw my twenty in disgust! I felt terrible that she was so insulted, but felt 20% was a fair tip. Made me feel so uncomfortable that I will never go back, so don't worry .....! you are a very good masseus and should be paid appropriately by your management on top of tips! I feel bad that you were so upset and almost came back to give you more money. 120.00 for a massage is fair. I work in health care and work very hard for my money. Some patients are handicapped and developmentally disabled. I don't get extra for dealing with these patients. You made me feel like crap! I am so disappointed. I spent $75 on a gift card for my husband last Father's Day. He has a very difficult schedule with his job. He works12 hour shifts, mostly every day. He couldn't go there when Covid took place. He went there when things started opening up and was told the $75 gift card expired. I find it pretty sad that in a time where businesses aren't doing so well, that anyone would turn business away. I guess I'll have to find some place else to go. read more

I came here for the first time and it will be my last! Staff does not speak English well which is not a problem but it creates a barrier with communication. They made me pay upfront for me and my partner which came up to $125.00. No problem. After they were done with their service, one lady basically walked us towards the front door and kept saying ("peep, peep") which she meant "tip". Me and my partner were like yeah sure! So we handed her $10 dollars so she could split with her co-worker. Then she said "oh no, you have to give 20 dollars for each, me and her" I asked her what about the $120 dollars we paid for the service and claimed that its for her boss. So as my partner took more money out, lady literally snatched the money out of her hands which made me furious. She had the nerve to tell us to come back! Terrible way of handling business. Had they warned us about the 20 dollar mandatory fee per person, id find a cheaper place. read more
