    Bobby was so helpful and knowledgeable being in the spa business for over 25 years, answering all our questions happily. Spa max had a great selection of floor models to look at, you can jump into any one of them to get a feel how great you'll feel once the spa is in your backyard. The installation and transport of the spa was handled really professionally and they to will answer all your questions. The price I paid and for what the spa does is fantastic.

    Randy is the man! He got us a crazy good deal on this used Swimspa. I can't believe the deal we got on it and its practically new looking even though its an older spa. When we went to the showroom we were absolutely floored by the crazy options and Randy helped us file it down to what we needed. It wasn't some pushy o you need this type either. Literally said we plan on using it for a jacuzzi and occasional swimming and he pointed us in the middle of the range. He even went over how what we got might be a hair bit overkill as it had the three motors. Honestly he was right! Good luck swimming with three motors blowing you into the back wall. There were inherent issues with the spa when we got it in. One of the LED went out and one of the speakers was obviously blown. One of the motors got stuck. This is a 6-8 year old spa we bought for 1/3rd the cost of it new. We knew it was going to have some quirks. Called Randy and he sent people to fix it IMMEDIATELY at no cost to us. He went above and beyond and I mean ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of a normal place. You are paying a huge discount compared to full price I do not understand some of these reviews thinking it will be brand spanking new. Even their service contract is dirt cheap if you want to go that route and not worry. They haven't had a problem at all calling them out when a motor froze or anything of that nature. You can always judge a place by their follow up and they have been valuable for help with the water quality and just general maintenance. You can tell they want return customers and referrals by giving good customer support and it shows. They even crained in the giant sucker as there was no way ever to get this in from our side gates. Super fun watching someone crane something blindly over a tree line haha. Once we finally understood how to take care of that amount of water with shock and bromine we haven't had a single issue since the initial learning period. It has been an almost zero maintenance spa. I trust them and frequently recommend them to my coworkers and friends.

    We bought a spa during COVID! We actually bought a floor model- had it delivered a couple days after ordering. It was very exciting g to find a place that had something available- everyone else had 12-18 week delivery! Yikes! We were very happy with the whole experience. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is when buying the person who I had spoken to over the phone- the person who seemed to actually have some knowledge about the features was with another couple. We got Frank. Frank was friendly- but kept taking his mask off... and he knew nothing about the spas. He was likely the guy they hired because they just needed anyone. He couldn't answer any questions- and had to ask the other guy. Taking off the mask was frustrating- since we've really tried to avoid people and places because of my husbands health. ‍

    Rick - more BS, since he took the call in front of me, he told the customer on the phone, " yes it's still Available!" and then told me as he placed the steps inside the unit when telling me it's SOLD!!! Horrible customer service!! I'm still shopping for a spa, and this was definitely NOT how you earn my business! He should've HELD the call while I was standing there looking at it from the very beginning, like I said, horrible customer service. He was very knowledgeable regarding the spas and jets, which was the only positive experience I did have while shopping there!

Although I was about to purchase a hot tub from a large, well known dealer in Corona, I decided to look at Custom Spas Direct, which has good online reviews and happens to be very close to our house. I'm glad I did. I was not familiar with the Vita spa brand that Custom Spas Direct sells. There's very little information available online. After doing some digging, I determined that Vita is a decent, mid-range spa with competitive pricing. Nothing fancy, but it's built with good components from companies like Balboa Water Group. Dealing with Custom Spas Direct has been fantastic. It's a small company and we interacted directly with Jim Galpin, the owner. Jim is a straightforward guy and he was very helpful in choosing a spa. Since I was unfamiliar with Vita, I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He quickly responded whenever I sent him a text with a question or request. After the purchase, he was super flexible with regard to delivery, setup timing, coordinating with the electrician's schedule, etc. The delivery and setup was quick and well done. The installer did a good job answering all of my questions. We've had the spa six months and have had a couple of minor issues. One was probably due to user error on my part and the other was not. In both cases, Jim responded to my texts immediately and quickly resolved my issue, even during a holiday week. I'm so glad I purchased from a local dealer that provides such fantastic service after the sale. I'm sure a larger dealer would not have given us the same treatment. Thanks Jim! Five stars!

    I received the shipment on Friday 5/31/2024. The box was tattered. It was crushed in spots, with…read morenumerous tears/punctures. I immediately took photos (see attached zip file of 14 photos) of the condition. You can see the FedEx truck that delivered it in the background of the first photo. I did a visual inspection from the top of box, and it appeared things were displaced/disheveled and scuffed but nothing major. Since I was flying out of town the following Monday 6/3/2024 I decided to leave it in the box until I returned from my trip. (concerned that if I started to install the new filter before my trip then found an issue that couldn't be resolved immediately my system would be down for days). Upon my return, I installed the new filter on Monday 6/10/2024. At that time, I took the filter unit out of the box, and opened the unit. I did take a picture of the top of the filter cartridge system, and everything looked fine. I did not take apart the filter cartridge system, so the bottom of the cartridges were never looked at. Everything seemed to be working just fine, I clean my pool weekly and didn't see any issues until +/- 6 cleaning. At that time when I was cleaning the pool (last Saturday 6/10/2024) I noticed that there was dirty water returning into the pool and jacuzzi. Seemed weird, even though the pressure meter on top of the filter did not indicate I needed to clean the filter (no PSI change from original clean filter PSI), I figured I should do so I could figure out what was up. That is when I discovered the damage to the bottom of the filter cartridges. I then reached out to your team o see what could be done to resolve the issue. NO HELP.. Past their 30 day warranty, deal with the manufacture (Pentar) on your own. WTF? I bought this from Leslie's and sent their customer service person 14 pictures showing how bad the package was when it was received. Do not buy online, you will not get any reasonable help when it is obviously their F-up. Sorry I didn't send a complaint the day I received the filter but I figured it was just a few scuffs and loose parts, I didn't think anything was structurally compromised. Now I feel they should replace the complete unit/order. Who knows if there is a hairline fracture to the filter housing?
