After two months of waiting and getting ("they haven't delivered it yet and I think it is a materials issue", I got their source (the subject SpaCovers.com) and contacted them. Apparently a disgruntled employee left our spa service company and never placed the order with SpaCovers.com. We needed the cover in two days to fulfill a condition of selling our house (in literally two days). The staff quickly scrambled, got our measurements and various selections (color, lip length, tie downs, etc.) over the cell phone and had it two us one day later. Spacovers.com asked us to send a template, we did, and what they sent us did not match remotely close (off by 5" in some areas!). They blame my template, I tell them that I am not the expert, THEY are, and for what they charge they should have sent someone to do it correctly. They will not remedy the situation, therefor I am almost $800 into a non fitting cover and they will not replace it nor offer a significant discount to do so (free shipping was about it - $80 value). VERY disappointed in the quality of service and follow through. 7/7/17 Updating because we ended up shifting the cover around and it fit! Excellent company and excellent product. I ordered a new cover from them several weeks ago. It was priced competitively and is really well made. The problem is that the shipping company poked a hole in it on delivery. So, they just made and sent me another one. They are battling with the shipping company over responsibility but told me that wasn't my problem and immediately made it right and built and sent me another one. Pretty cool and great company. ALERT! ALERT! I have never heard of this business. I am Lacey K of Redlands, Ca. and I NEVER wrote the review below. Yelp just reported to me that I had received responses to "my review". I'm now wondering if any of these reviews are real. Mine is not. I have never owned a spa, and wouldn't buy one knowing it didn't fit either. Who would do that? FYI I ordered a spa cover off the shelf because I was in a rush. I knew it wouldn't fit properly, but would provide safety in the short time frame I needed it. We talked about the reason for my purchase and that I would be returning it and ordering one that fit properly after the immediate need was over. When I called to return it, I was told that I couldn't return it even though I offered to pay a restocking fee and would be ordering a custom cover that fit properly. I was charged full retail price even though the spa cover was one that was ordered for another customer and was never purchased. I was forced to pay for someone to deliver it to me because they didn't have anyone to deliver it. I am completely disappointed and will never order from this company again. read more
