A couple months back I was in need of pool filters. After a lot of research I found Pool Guy Supply. The price or the filters were less than half the cost of the pool equipment brand. I ordered the filters, and they were delivered within a week. I installed the filters and they fit like a glove. After two months I decided to clean my filters. I noticed that one of the filters had a crack on the base. I contacted Pool Guy Supply and they sent me a replacement the same day. I was very impressed by their customer service as the filters do not have an extended warrantee. Part for my inteliclore pool clorinator worked as expected. Replaced the salt, flow, water temp sensor. Be carefully not to overtighen the unit as it is plastic. Put tape sealer on threads and put some black silicone sealer on bottom of nut to stop any seepage of water through the threads. read more

Have a Hayward salt cell and broke one of the union collars and was dreading having to repair and cut the pipe just so I could replace the union. Thought there has to be a better way, called pool guy supply and the person on the phone was knowledgeable and knew exactly what the issue was and suggested a black split nut repair option so I could avoid the huge time and expense repairing this silly design that Hayward has for their salt cells. I recently had to have my salt cell replaced that was still in warranty. The pool company that had just been at my house and cleaned the cell broke/cracked both unions on the end of the cell. The company agreed to install the new salt cells, but wanted me to purchase the unions. I found them at Pool Guy Supply at the lowest price anywhere! My salt chlorinator's computer board burned out last month, and the PoolGuySupply.com made replacing this board, a simple and hassle free experience. And Cheap too!!!... I called them and explained my on going issue (zero salt reading from chlorinator display), and Jason walked me through a brief troubleshooting session (for free), and found out the board was having issues, so I ordered the part, which came on a 2nd day FedEx delivery for only $10 (incredible)... 1st board received was having issues reading salt (too high), and once I contacted poolguysupply, they only asked for a few photos and videos of installation, and replaced the part immediately once they concluded installation was done correctly. The new board worked like a champ, and my pool is clear again with a perfect running salt chlorinator! Similar to another reviewer, I bought filter cartridges from this company based upon the specifications on my filter. When they arrived, they were too big. I asked to exchange them for the correct size cartridges (same price) and I was told I would have to return the old ones first, PAY A 20% RESTOCKING FEE, take a refund for the balance, and then they would do a new transaction for the correct size cartridges. There is nothing about any restocking fee on their website, except under a "terms and conditions" link that I'm sure no one has ever looked at. This is extortion, fraud, and if I lived in California, I'd be on the steps of the courthouse today. In fact, I may even file suit here in New Jersey and force them to come defend themselves here. I needed replacement cartridges for my Quad 60 Filter. It started over a week ago. I went to my local distributors here in Thousand Oaks Calif. after calling to see my primary had stock, they did so I went there, but they couldn't find them, and wanted to sell a cheap knock off. The second major Brand Pool company not far from me that I checked, after the first gave me bad information, wanted significantly higher prices and had long lead-time to order, at least they were honest, but I couldn't wait. I found Pool Guy Supply, by accident, I phoned in a nice woman answered the phone, after my story, she told me they had stock and could ship the same day, GREAT. I ordered on line and for a reasonable ground shipping fee, less than a 12 pack of Beer, the order was placed, shipped and all confirmed by email. The parts arrived then next day, because the cost of gas for me to drive to the store would have been twice the shipping cost, so chose shipping instead of pickup. The bottom line is my pool is now clean again, and very happy to have done business with Pool Guy Supply. The next order will be in person just so i can meet these folks in person. These guys are great and from me, an engineer, that rarely grades higher than 4 stars on a five star range I can honestly say, I wish I found them first and now going forward they are the new number one pool supply place to go to first. There are always exceptions but I personally believe that it is all about personal contact. I'm a stickler and many websites are just email or text only, no phone to call in. I want and need knowing there is a human at the end of the line that will do things right. And these guys did it. The prices and delivery were the best I have had for the same item in the past. I needed a second set of pool filters to put in the pump during the pollen season while the other ones got cleaned so this was perfect. They were much more affordable than going back to the pool installers and they shipped fast. The sales team really helped me figure out which exact ones I needed since I ordered the wrong ones from a different company at the end of last summer. Stay away. I ordered product that was represented by Pool Guy to be compatible. When I got the part, it was not compatible with my system. They agreed that it could not be used and permitted a return but then subtracted 20% because they could. I buy a lot of product online and the vast majority of vendors treat the customer fairly but not the Pool Guy. Even when they misrepresent the product they still will not give a full refund.
