Sales specialist Remy Duguet was well-versed in Subaru's reliability and safety record. Given his knowledge of each model's specs, he made it easier to decide which best met our needs, going out of his way time and again to ensure the Forester would work for us. He was responsible and followed up at every turn. We highly recommend Remy and believe he reflects the Subaru culture and values as does the dealership. This has been a very positive car purchase and trade-in experience.

Long story short I had to…read morehave my vehicle towed from my house to their location in Staunton because I had zero hydraulic fluid and my 2022 Outback obviously wouldn't allow me to drive it without causing catastrophic damage because of it built-in failsafes and protection system. It arrives at CMA's Valley Subaru and they look over it for about an hour then call me to recommend I need to have a $14,000 transmission replacement!? WTF?? The mechanic drove it after filling the hydraulic reservoir for 6 miles stating "harsh clunking in between gear changes and jerking". My other option told to me by their service team was to trade it in or sell it to them. They then tried to push the fear factor saying that they "don't know how long it'll last if I don't have a new transmission right now". I said there's no way I'm doing either of those recs and will pick it up immediately to see for myself how "bad" it was. After spending $500 for "diagnostics and hydraulic fluid" I got my car back and was anticipating the worst. Nothing. Normal. Immediately went on the interstate and pushed it after feeling comfortable about my suspicions that they only wanted me to trade in my perfectly running vehicle OR pretend to install a transmission, essentially stealing $14,000 from me. I can 100% say without a doubt that it's still running normally, like nothing happened and this is why I can also safely say that CMA's Valley Subaru are liars and people who will try to swindle you out of thousands of dollars that, in my situation, would be life altering. They prey on people who blindly take their advice and who think they won't see shit for themselves. Any issues you have in the valley with your Subaru, DO NOT go there. You will get scammed harder than the Prince of Phukastan wanting a ransom for your nonexistent nephew named Yuwilgit Phukd. DON'T DO IT.

I contacted the service department and they misinformed me, claimed it wasn't covered, and forced me to pay thousands out of pocket just to get my car back working. This is a direct violation of consumer protection laws and a breach of warranty. I have already contacted the General Manager to resolve this via email. If a full reimbursement is not issued immediately, my next steps are formal fraud complaints with the State Attorney General, the FTC, and legal action under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Cash's towing picked me and my vehicle up and took us the 15 minutes to Wayne's. The Lexington AutoZone about ten minutes away had the necessary part; Wayne drove over to pick it up himself and dropped me off at a local restaurant to get some lunch while they worked. All told, the job was done and I was back on the road in a little less than two hours after we first arrived at the shop. The price was fair and the both Wayne and the only other gentleman working the shop on Saturday were friendly. We took a Volvo in after the AC compressor they had installed last fall seized and broke the serpentine belt. We said we wanted an estimate to fix what needed fixing. For $2400 they replaced the AC and belt. Upon leaving the shop the car's AC worked when moving but blew hot air at idle. We took it back. They charged another diagnostic fee and said it needed a fan....for another charge of just under $1000. Immediately after the second pick up the car started throwing codes and blowing hot air; again. Third trip back. They admitted they installed a faulty compressor. After repairs for which they refused to give a statement of what they did to the car, the car died that night and had to be towed away. After putting over $3400 into repairs the car was never driven again. I know Lexington is limited in repair shops but please find anyone else for your auto needs. I had no idea one shop could cause such chaos ultimately leading to junking the car.
