Spare Tire they put on for me
    R D.

I was traveling 100 miles from home to pick up a relative from the hospital when I got a flat on I64 near Staunton VA. I found an NTB online and limped in with piece of metal in the the tire. The manager told me he had a couple of people ahead of me, and I didn't have a reservation, but since I was late to get the relative from the hospital, he would get me in soon. They pulled the car in and starting working on it pretty quickly. The tech, Joey, tried to fix the hole with a patch, but it was too damaged and was still leaking air. They then realized that since I have a factory wheel upgrade, they didn't have the right size tire in their store. The manager found it in Charlottesville, which is about 30 miles away. They already had a guy half way there to pick up something else, so they picked up a tire for me also. Since I had to pick up a relative at the hospital, Joey put my space saver spare on for me so I could go pick them up. About the time I got back, they had the tire and put it on quickly. The had me headed home quickly. I have used NTB in my home town and have been very satisfied. When I got a flat hours from home, I looked for an NTB and I am glad I found them. The manager, the tech Joey and the other employees I encountered were all professional, friendly and compassionate. No extra charges, just the tire and the mounting and balancing. Joey even refitted the spare back into it's holder. Like it never even happened. Getting a flat on a trip is not fun, but this NTB fixed it for me with the best service possible. Bravo!!

The warranty company requires it go to a licensed GMC/Buick dealer and this is closer than towing to Roanoke so, this was the place. My mom didn't read any reviews (of which there are loads of bad ones and BBB complaints against this dealership/service department). My mother was assured this should be under warranty and within a day they told her it was a bad fuel injector after they ran tests/diagnostics. She was at my house visiting during this phone call and asked if they should replace the other two as well. Her service tech said no, warranty wouldn't cover it usually and only one was bad. So, done. Warranty agreed to pay for this. A few days later (after weekend) - she gets a call with "bad news" from them. They test drove it and it was still having issues... so they were going to tear it back down and ensure they didn't "do something wrong". No mention of costs, labor charges, etc. They call back and tell her a second fuel injector has now failed and would need to be replaced. They would contact warranty company. Ok. Now, the warranty company does agree not only to replace another injector, but also the third one too. Just in case. Counter to the initial information my mom was given. Seems they didn't ask the warranty company up front who very well may have agreed to replace them to save duplicate labor costs - which is exactly where we ended up. They also never gave her a quote for the cost before doing any of this, bc they planned to fleece the warranty company. So, my mom didn't get the luxury of saying, no before they had her car taken fully apart and told her she owed $1300 in labor. That came AFTER that had already happened. So the sequence was out of order here. Here is the main problem: their position is that this was a completely new issue and that this fuel injector failed ONLY when they tore it back down. Not that it was also bad when they initially only replaced the one the first time and billed her warranty for $1600 in labor. Sounds fishy to me considering when they tested it after the fix, it didn't work. So they did not in fact, fix the issue and they are in fact, at fault for missing it. The math ain't mathing. So, they planned to make labor fees off the warranty company for replacing a fuel injector - then charged my mom FOR THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN, saying this was a new issue and it wasn't bad when they first tested it. She never started the car, sat in it, or drove it after dropping it off there to be worked on. How can any reasonable person believe, that this second fuel injector just happened to go wrong at the exact moment the replaced the first one and was perfectly fine and my mom needs to pay them another $1600 in labor, not that they missed it? Additionally, wouldn't any reputable service department at least consider that and not charge her FULL price for something that is most likely their mistake? Yeah, not this place. They were rude and dismissive to her when she became upset over this. I called and had a more nuanced conversation with Ben where he admitted "probably" the fuel injector was already broken but since it didn't "throw a code" they didn't know for sure, but yes, it was likely but wasn't their fault. My mom spoke to the service manager, Cliff, who appeared dismissive on the phone and essentially told her unless she paid it she'd never get her car back and refused to do anything about reducing the labor charges. I have to say - I am extremely unimpressed and my mom, who doesn't make a ton of money, is really upset about these charges. They are saying this is a warranty issue and blaming the company - I see it more as them trying to bulk up their fees by double-charging for an issue they failed to find on the first go-round and should've eaten. No reasonable person would think they didn't miss this issue - at the very least they should've taken half the cost off and not charged my mother $1600 for labor and also the warranty company for replacing the exact same part (fuel injectors) on her car within days when she never even picked it up and drove it off the lot the first time. The warranty company denied a double-charge, just like medical insurance does when a doctor double-bills you. Shameful. I wouldn't bring a vehicle here if I had any other option on Earth. There is a real lack of integrity here and it's plainly obvious.

They brought me in for a flat repair, and it wasn't repairable. Being in a rental, they got me on my spare and got me on my way in no time. Although I didn't buy a tire since it was under the vehicle's rental warranty, they were absolute gentlemen and really saved my butt tonight! And oh boy, their shop is the cleanest I've ever been in, both inside the waiting area and in the bays. 10/10 Huge thank you to Lenwood and Shane!!!!

Our car was running rough, their scan showed 4 different codes related to ignition coil issues to misfires. the tech only changed (4) spark plugs, and applied "fuel & induction decarbinization" that wasn't discussed or really approved beforehand. THE CAR STILL RAN ROUGH! Spark plugs(Denso IRDM 5358) were -------------$29.99 x4 = $119.96 (Autozone price, $8.99) Remove&Replace spark plugs -----------------------------------------$187.20 Fuel Induction Decarbinization -----------------------------------------$74.99 (Autozone CRC Intake valve cleaner, $16.99) Fuel system service labor ------------------------------------------------$69.99 Total after small discount, $406.93 I inspected the igniton coil and spark plug wires myself with little effort and discovered corrosion on coil contacts and at spark plug wire ends. YOUR CUSTOMERS DESERVE BETTER SERVICE FOR THESE HIGH PRICES! My girlfriend took the car back to report the same problems and only got, "I'm sorry....." I installed new sparkplugs, sparkplug wires and new ingnition coil for around $165. it only took around ONE hour! I hate to think what the bill would've been for them to correct their blunder. ASC Certified my ass....
