My fifteen year old son said his sandwich was amazing and he loved the flat bread too. Usually picky with his food when we eat out. Breads are baked fresh in house and the menu offerings consist of: handcrafted sandwiches, soup, salads, flatbreads, and even has a kid's menu. Purchases: * HAM & TURKEY [on honey wheat bread] * PASTRAMI REUBEN [on sourdough] Sandwiches are made on sourdough bread by default and includes house spread, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mustard, & cheese. Customizations are welcome. Sandwiches were good and very filling. The only complaint on my end was the shredded lettuce that made for messy eating- I would have preferred whole leaves. Honey wheat isn't recommended if you plan on eating your sandwich later- this bread is softer and will become soggy quite quickly. 4 stars. Had a wonderful lunch here on Monday with a friend. They are located in the Safeway shopping center next to Wells Fargo bank. This was our first time here and there were a lot of sandwich options to choose from. It took us a few minutes to make a decision. We both decided on the French dip sandwich meal which included a bag of chips and a drink. We found a spot to sit. There are plenty of tables to choose from. All the tables were clean and tidy. They brought our sandwiches to us, which was very nice. The French dip was excellent. The sourdough bread was fresh and warm and they gave a hefty amount of roast beef and it also had Swiss cheese on it. There was also au jus on the side to dip the sandwich in. It came with a dill pickle spear on the side. Everything was delicious. The staff were super friendly and checked on us to make sure we were happy with our food. Overall, an excellent experience. I highly recommend coming here for a delicious and freshly made sandwich. I look forward to coming back and trying out some of their other sandwiches. read more

The glass wall of the front of the store was absolutely filthy. I also noticed on the way in that the sign holding the menu outside was filthy. Nonetheless, I wanted to try it, so I got a turkey sandwich, in which the turkey was not delicious, not even good. I don't know much about turkey lunch meat, but this was not delicious at all. As always, I ordered the French Dip with au jus. It only comes in a 6". It's not that long but it's stacked high with juicy roast beef. The mustard sauce makes the difference! And the au jus comes in a tub steaming hot and flavorful. The service is fast, and the crew is very friendly. They have all the soft drinks, tea, and lemonade of the chain. Walked in and ordered in person. Unfortunately they got my order wrong on both sandwiches. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and they gave me sliced deli meat. I was told it was chicken breast that was grilled. For the second sandwich, I specifically asked if they had sliced sourdough bread and they said yes. So I ordered the veggie sandwich on sliced sourdough and it came on the standard roll with no house sauce. I did say to add mustard, but for some reason they thought all I wanted was mustard and no other spread. This sandwich was for a friend who has trouble eating the harder sourdough roll bread, so I was disappointed to see they got this wrong. Also, the sandwiches just weren't that tasty. Positive aspects are that the employees were friendly and the place was very clean. If you want the best sourdough in town, try the sandwiches at Crust sourdough in Palo Alto or Redwood City. The staff recommended the Cholula Chicken sandwich and the BBQ chicken that bread. I have a sweet tooth so I grabbed one of their chocolate chip cookies. Okaaay this sandwich hit the spot !! The service was great, a nice gentleman took my order and took the food to my table when it was ready. The menu is easy to look through and spot what you might want. I order the Smoked Brisket and safe to say it was really delicious. Every ingredient mixed well and will definitely have me going back to try another. The clam chowder however was not my favorite. To me at least, it seemed to lack flavor and had this weird sandy feeling after chewing. They're all sourced locally and the bread is baked fresh. You can be certain you're getting a whole and nutritious meal at this spot. First off, the place is super clean and the staff are all great and friendly. Super great customer service. As it was our first time there, the person taking our order took the time to explain what is on the sandwiches and additions you can add. My sandwich, the Albacore and swiss cheese was wonderful. The sourdough roll is perfect, not so large it fills you up faster than the fillings, just the perfect size. The coleslaw is great and refreshing and the mac & cheese is great also.
