This place is pretty good. The staff was extremely friendly. I came here on a Wednesday afternoon and ordered the #9 Cracked Pepper Turkey on a wrap. It was delicious. We all loved our food. I'm on a tuna melt kick, and theirs was pretty great. I got it on sourdough, and they got it perfectly toasty. My tiny friends liked their food a lot. One of my tiny friends surprisingly finished her whole tuna sandwich! Their pickles are acceptable, but they could be improved. In order to get lettuce on your sandwich, you must go through the hell of: - click Lettuce - be redirected to another page - click Regular - click Save - be redirected to the sandwich's page, and you're now on top of the page - scroll all the way down to the Toppings section again And you repeat this process for tomato, onions, etc. If you don't (like the confused and annoyed me today), you get a plain, sad sandwich with just bread and meat. Had a wonderful lunch here on Monday with a friend. They are located in the Safeway shopping center next to Wells Fargo bank. This was our first time here and there were a lot of sandwich options to choose from. It took us a few minutes to make a decision. We both decided on the French dip sandwich meal which included a bag of chips and a drink. We found a spot to sit. There are plenty of tables to choose from. All the tables were clean and tidy. They brought our sandwiches to us, which was very nice. The French dip was excellent. The sourdough bread was fresh and warm and they gave a hefty amount of roast beef and it also had Swiss cheese on it. There was also au jus on the side to dip the sandwich in. It came with a dill pickle spear on the side. Everything was delicious. The staff were super friendly and checked on us to make sure we were happy with our food. Overall, an excellent experience. I highly recommend coming here for a delicious and freshly made sandwich. I look forward to coming back and trying out some of their other sandwiches. read more

Tucked into a little corner of this strip mall, in the location of the old Starbucks, it's easy to miss. But after my first visit, this will be a destination. As always, I ordered the French Dip with au jus. It only comes in a 6". It's not that long but it's stacked high with juicy roast beef. The mustard sauce makes the difference! And the au jus comes in a tub steaming hot and flavorful. The service is fast, and the crew is very friendly. They have all the soft drinks, tea, and lemonade of the chain. The site shows sliced chicken in the sandwiches but the actual sandwiches had more of a chicken salad style. They still had great flavor and would buy them again. Walked in and ordered in person. Unfortunately they got my order wrong on both sandwiches. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and they gave me sliced deli meat. I was told it was chicken breast that was grilled. For the second sandwich, I specifically asked if they had sliced sourdough bread and they said yes. So I ordered the veggie sandwich on sliced sourdough and it came on the standard roll with no house sauce. I did say to add mustard, but for some reason they thought all I wanted was mustard and no other spread. This sandwich was for a friend who has trouble eating the harder sourdough roll bread, so I was disappointed to see they got this wrong. Also, the sandwiches just weren't that tasty. Positive aspects are that the employees were friendly and the place was very clean. If you want the best sourdough in town, try the sandwiches at Crust sourdough in Palo Alto or Redwood City. Their sourdough is fire and the sandwiches are made immediately after the bread comes out of the oven. read more

The service was great, a nice gentleman took my order and took the food to my table when it was ready. The menu is easy to look through and spot what you might want. I order the Smoked Brisket and safe to say it was really delicious. Every ingredient mixed well and will definitely have me going back to try another. The clam chowder however was not my favorite. I've tried this place 3 times so far. I love clam chowder and it is pretty good here. Only thing I've noticed is they microwave the soup so it comes out scorching hot. Their sandwiches are pretty thin for the price due to the sour bread baguette they use. It was a good sandwich just narrow. The peeps there are very nice and place is very clean. We came here after the gym many choices to pick from, I had the buffalo ranch chicken specialty sandwich was delicious, we also have sourdough clam chowder, and cracked pepper turkey! The Asiago cheese baked into the loaf added the perfect rich, savory flavor. You could taste the quality in every bite. First off, the place is super clean and the staff are all great and friendly. Super great customer service. As it was our first time there, the person taking our order took the time to explain what is on the sandwiches and additions you can add. My sandwich, the Albacore and swiss cheese was wonderful. The sourdough roll is perfect, not so large it fills you up faster than the fillings, just the perfect size. The coleslaw is great and refreshing and the mac & cheese is great also. Fantastic new spot that opened up recently. Compared to other sourdough spots this deserves a glowing recommendation. Upon talking to the staff, I learned the secret is the ingredients. They're all sourced locally and the bread is baked fresh. You can be certain you're getting a whole and nutritious meal at this spot. The food was delicious, I got the barbecue chicken flatbread and the crispy chicken sandwich, both were exceptionally prepared. I was also wow'ed when the food was brought to me at my table, was not expecting that level of service from a chain! The restaurant is also super clean and has plenty of space in the back. An absolute hidden gem. Located in the corner of the plaza, a friend and I decided to check this place out. A very chill, no-frills sandwich shop with a wide menu and plenty of amazing options for eveyto choose from. Greeted by friendly staff, they offered us recommendations on some personal favorites, I decided to go for the turkey ham and cheese while my friend went for the French dip. Loaded with fresh ingredients and a perfect meat to bread ratio, the sandwich had surpassed my expectations. Same for the French dip, my buddy gave it a two thumbs up. One of the best French Dip sandwich's I've ever had! Trust me on this one... order a French Dip with provolone cheese and ask them to spread butter on both insides of the sourdough bread. It's not the healthiest sandwich, but if you love French Dips, you'll be in dipping heaven! This sandwich brings back memories of the old Dela Cruz Deli located near Brokaw Road in San Jose, (RIP).
