This chicken sandwich was the best I've had. Large, all white meat, quality chicken. It was perfectly fried with a thinner breading. It didn't over power the meat but complemented it. The only topping this sandwich needs is pickles. They were thicker than normal, fresh, crunchy and juicy. The honey butter and fresh toasted bun rounded it all out. You can complete the Boreas Pass drive as quickly or leisurely as you'd like. For us, we started the drive around 2pm and found ourselves passing by Otto's about 6pm. We were so hungry and weren't sure what to expect from Team Otto's. If you like sandwiches, I can't recommend Otto's enough. Their sandwiches are fantastic--incredibly delicious. Don't miss out on their fries and homemade dipping sauces too! They serve breakfast all day, have a several vegan options, including a burrito. I had the original chicken sandwich and it blew my socks off. It was so delicious. I savored every bite. My dining partner and I shared sweet potato and regular fries--so darn delicious. They have all these homemade dipping sauces which, I think, is where the magic lies. Get at least two that your heart desires and you won't be disappointed. The Otto's team were so kind and friendly. The food and service were so good, 5/5, I thought about returning to Otto's the rest of the trip. I'll be back for sure. Just a note, it was cool and raining the day we were there. They have outdoor tables, but we opted to drive and find a spot with a view close by and had dinner in the car, it worked out great. The ambience is very nice. It is open and bright and clean and Asian. They also had a case of desserts (like tiramisu) and ice cream. I've been going to Fairplay for years. I never stopped here because I didn't know what it would be like. Well let me tell you, the service could not have been better. Welcoming, efficient, readily able to make requested adjustments to dishes. There are many items on the menu to choose from. We had tofu and vegetables sesame chicken. Both were just so amazingly delicious. I actually find myself thinking of finding an excuse to go back to FairPlay so I can get such wonderful food again because in my area it's hard to find such good Asian food. I cannot recommend this place enough. It checked all of the boxes and then some. The only downside is there are no lunch specials but I felt like the food was worth every penny we paid.
