I hate giving a bad review but not fair to others if not being honest. Couple good things: place was clean, convenient location and wait staff was good. Food, on the other hand...not so much. My wife and I split a pork/shrimp spring roll. Would say mediocre but perhaps others would like. Not the worst we have had but way down on its of best. The Hoisin sauce was in large bottles and it came out clumpy and not fresh. Perhaps use small bottles and change often would help. We both order Pho Tai (Vietnamese soup with rare beef). My wife added vegetables. One good thing, the serving was huge. Bad things; broth was not hot nor clear, which was worst we have had. They use the larger noodles rather than the thinner noodles normally found in Pho. Guess wouldn't have been a deal breaker if the broth, which is most important, was good. To begin with the service was terrible from the start there's no way of knowing if you were supposed to seat yourself or if someone was going to seat you. Then when we got to the table it was dirty and server took over 5 minutes to come speak with us. After server took our order they never gave us drinks. They then messed up our order 3 times and did not give the correct bowls to us. Once we finally got our correct food the broth was cold in two out of the four soups. The noodles were overcooked to the point of being mushy, and even the appetizers; spring rolls and gyoza were overly fried and greasy. Nothing arrived hot, which made the experience even worse. Perfect place for something warm and cozy on a cold Breckenridge night. They recently moved locations, but overall, the new location is an upgrade. Delicious pho and Ramen are there go to. Crab Rangoon's are also delicious. The rice bowls are nothing to scoff at either. Overall, great place for a nice dinner where you will leave happy and with a stuffed and warm belly. We didn't end up eating here because we stood in the doorway for legitimately probably 10 minutes without being acknowledged by any staff. When we finally asserted ourselves to the *one* person working (seriously, I saw her making an alcoholic drink in the back after taking orders and presumably seating the party ahead of us), she said we had to wait 20 minutes even to sit at the bar even though multiple tables were open. They must have moved because the photos inside and out look different than what I experienced. I double checked Google Maps and the place we went to is right below the grocery store in a brick building, not the wooden house in the photos. Being from Hawaii, we have amazing Vietnamese food so my bar is set high. I generally avoid eating Asian food while on the mainland as I am isually disappointed. We had been eating heavy and wanted something lighter but comforting in the cold. So we walked here from our hotel and it's a little steep off the main street. At this altitude, it's a a workout to go uphill on foot. Also it was dimly lit in this area but fortunately safe. When we entered, it was less than half full and the worker didnt tell us where to sit so we just sat at the bar. It seems like only 2 people were working, her and the cook. It took awhile to get our pho and it didn't have much flavor and the portions were small for the price. Unfortunately since we were at the bar, we didn't have the condiments to add which were really needed. The worker was so busy she didnt check on us. In fact, everyone was clamoring for her attention especially to pay the tab. Soon, all the tables were full of dirty dishes and she never came to clear any of them. We have eaten pretty much for every meal since we got here for our vacation. Trying new spots and new foods. This place has been the BEST we have eaten at thus far. We pop in for quick comfort food the day we arrived at Breckenridge. This small joint is really casual and plain decor. You place the order and pay first at the counter, they will bring the food to your table. Our Pho came out pretty fast, it was very salty tho in my opinion. One thing I found distasteful is that they added service charge automatically on you bill without telling you, when you pay the machine still ask you to tip. The ramen was the worst I've ever had: watery, lukewarm broth with no flavor at all. And $20 on top of it all... DONT order it. Tbh, I wasn't a huge fan of this place. The fried rice didn't have any flavor and it was super dry. When you first walk in, you order your food and later they will bring it to you. Seating is first come first serve. There is a good amount of seating. It was a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. There is also seating outside as well. The restaurant in itself is pretty tidy and is clean. Food: Pho Reg 3/5 -- the pho broth was on the sweater side. They do pack the pho with protein. But one thing I wish was the broth to be a lot hotter. We got rare steak and it didn't completely cook it. It was soggy and chewy still. Spring rolls 4/5 -- nothing too special about these. Overall, it wasn't bad Bao Bun 3/5 -- Wish the Bao Bun had more meat in it. I feel like I was biting veggies the whole time and the fat part of the pork belly. Overall, the food wasn't mediocre but it wasn't also THE best. The pricing of the food was also not worth it. We paid total about $40. I would come back if I was really craving pho! read more

This place strikes out for us in all categories. If you order take out on their website, don't believe the ETA given. We Ordered take out. This is during off season ( mid October). Only one cook in the back. Another person serves as cook/packer, waitress, bartender and cashier. We ordered their ordinary items from the menu that normally should take 15-20 minutes to be ready. In stead, we waited an hour for our order. The soups was spilling all over the place, my wife had to carry the paper bag from underneath with both hands. (See the picture) As for food, the order menu is something I have not seen before. For $18, only one type of meat is avaliable. Each additional costs 3 or more bucks. The pho came with no lime, no veggie, nothing. Another first. The meatball looks like it has been dry aged then burned. So is the "brisket." (See pictures) Another first. Ordered $150 in food for To Go. The ease of ordering online was super user friendly. Restaurant was clean and had nice space. Ordered Pho and Ramen. Both were fine. My recommendation is to buy better quality quart containers for the broth as the current ones are cheap, flimsy, and spill easily. I believe this was the only Vietnamese establishment at Breckenridge so my expectations shouldn't have been high to begin with, but if you're going to use the word "real" in your name, that's what I expect to have. The only thing real about this spot was the people running it - no frills, efficient, and of Asian background (I could hear them speaking Vietnamese). Other than that, the pho was sorely lacking. Coming from the Motherland myself, I'm accustomed to the aromatic and typical smell of pho permeating throughout Vietnamese restaurants. It's often a good indication of the heartiness of that broth, which should be simmering away. Maybe it was the freezing cold, but it didn't smell like much except moisture - there was plenty of steam from the conflicting temperatures inside and outside. The setup feels a bit like a food court - order from the menu board and pick your ingredients for the noodle soup. There were other items like vermicelli, Vietnamese sandwiches, egg rolls, spring rolls, and boba tea drinks. Pricing was decent for that resort area, but the portion of the pho was on the smaller side - the amount of rare steak slices I received wasn't bad though. I wish I could say the broth hit the spot on such a cold day, but it lacked flavor and felt as though I was only drinking a salty hot soup. This seems to be an adequate place for the locals and tourists as diversity is quite limited in the area. I will opt for another restaurant the next time I'm in town, pho real! read more

This is a great spot to stop in for a quick, delicious bite! The edamame was hot but a little too heavy on the salt for me. The springs rolls were so tasty and refreshing we ordered a second set of them, I really loved the peanut sauce served with it. The pho was amazing. The broth has so much flavor.
