The food was authentic Vietnamese Love the canh chua, most restaurants does not make it it sour enough for me and it was on point. If I'm ever back in Denver, I would definitely go back read more

I hate giving a bad review but not fair to others if not being honest. Couple good things: place was clean, convenient location and wait staff was good. Food, on the other hand...not so much. My wife and I split a pork/shrimp spring roll. Would say mediocre but perhaps others would like. Not the worst we have had but way down on its of best. The Hoisin sauce was in large bottles and it came out clumpy and not fresh. Perhaps use small bottles and change often would help. We both order Pho Tai (Vietnamese soup with rare beef). My wife added vegetables. One good thing, the serving was huge. Bad things; broth was not hot nor clear, which was worst we have had. They use the larger noodles rather than the thinner noodles normally found in Pho. Guess wouldn't have been a deal breaker if the broth, which is most important, was good. Sorry but would not recommend this place, at least for Pho. read more

We had high hopes because of a cool cloudy autumn day we were ready for some good hot pho as has become our tradition when travelling. We ordered fresh spring rolls as a starter and they were very good and served quickly. For our mains my wife ordered beef broth pho and I ordered Bun Cha, probably misspelled because it was my 1st time, it's a Vietnamese noodle soup dish. Im probably jaded because I lived in Japan 3 1/2 years and have a lot of Asian food experiences. Mine had a sweet background which I wasn't expecting. And my wife's pho was missing a flavor or two and both dishes were only fair. There was one server and he was nice but was busy. Once our dishes were served we didn't see him again till after we finished and we needed a drink refill. read more

New location but same good food. Service was great...very attentive and prompt. Seating, ordering, food-to-table, and drink refills were flawless. New location I don't like as much but it is ok. Liked the vibe in the prior location with picnic tables and counter ordering. Location was better too as it was closer to gondola. Spring rolls, dumplings, and pho (raw beef) are all (still) very good. read more

Honestly disappointed. The broth tasted completely watered down and lacked any real flavor. The noodles were overcooked to the point of being mushy, and even the appetizers; spring rolls and gyoza were overly fried and greasy. Nothing arrived hot, which made the experience even worse. The service was slow (though it did look like they were working with limited servers), but that still doesn't justify the price. It was extremely overpriced for such poor quality; you expect a lot more when you're paying premium prices. Overall, not worth it at all. The food wasn't fresh, wasn't hot, and definitely wasn't quality. read more

Perfect place for something warm and cozy on a cold Breckenridge night. They recently moved locations, but overall, the new location is an upgrade. Delicious pho and Ramen are there go to. Crab Rangoon's are also delicious. The rice bowls are nothing to scoff at either. Overall, great place for a nice dinner where you will leave happy and with a stuffed and warm belly. And the best part, it's on the healthier side. A welcome change from the fried food we've been eating around town. Now they offer a full bar. Comfortable seating. Clean bathrooms. And the location is just off the main street easy to find. Parking can occasionally be hard to get. Will 100% return in the future. Stop by if you are in the area. read more

We pop in for quick comfort food the day we arrived at Breckenridge. This small joint is really casual and plain decor. You place the order and pay first at the counter, they will bring the food to your table. Our Pho came out pretty fast, it was very salty tho in my opinion. One thing I found distasteful is that they added service charge automatically on you bill without telling you, when you pay the machine still ask you to tip. So be aware of it and not to double tips!!! read more

We didn't end up eating here because we stood in the doorway for legitimately probably 10 minutes without being acknowledged by any staff. When we finally asserted ourselves to the *one* person working (seriously, I saw her making an alcoholic drink in the back after taking orders and presumably seating the party ahead of us), she said we had to wait 20 minutes even to sit at the bar even though multiple tables were open. It was a Sunday evening with tons of snow so I felt bad she was the only person working. We ultimately left to go to Peak of Asia, where we were seated promptly. read more

They must have moved because the photos inside and out look different than what I experienced. I double checked Google Maps and the place we went to is right below the grocery store in a brick building, not the wooden house in the photos. Being from Hawaii, we have amazing Vietnamese food so my bar is set high. I generally avoid eating Asian food while on the mainland as I am isually disappointed. We had been eating heavy and wanted something lighter but comforting in the cold. So we walked here from our hotel and it's a little steep off the main street. At this altitude, it's a a workout to go uphill on foot. Also it was dimly lit in this area but fortunately safe. When we entered, it was less than half full and the worker didnt tell us where to sit so we just sat at the bar. It seems like only 2 people were working, her and the cook. It took awhile to get our pho and it didn't have much flavor and the portions were small for the price. Unfortunately since we were at the bar, we didn't have the condiments to add which were really needed. The worker was so busy she didnt check on us. In fact, everyone was clamoring for her attention especially to pay the tab. Soon, all the tables were full of dirty dishes and she never came to clear any of them. She would make new customers sit at the dirty table before she cleaned it. I wish we went somewhere else for dinner. Out of all the meals we had in Colorado, this was a let down. read more

To begin with the service was terrible from the start there's no way of knowing if you were supposed to seat yourself or if someone was going to seat you. Then when we got to the table it was dirty and server took over 5 minutes to come speak with us. After server took our order they never gave us drinks. They then messed up our order 3 times and did not give the correct bowls to us. Once we finally got our correct food the broth was cold in two out of the four soups. People who were here before us still had not gotten their food by the time we were finally done with our own nightmare. We observed the servers constantly messing up other peoples orders as well. The ambiance was also very blah and seemed like every single worker did not know what they were doing. read more

We have eaten pretty much for every meal since we got here for our vacation. Trying new spots and new foods. This place has been the BEST we have eaten at thus far. We had Boa buns and crab Rangoons for an appetizer and they were amazing, and tasted really fresh. We both had ramen for our meals and added some extras to them, and they were fantastic. The broth was tasty and super creamy and flavorful. Highly recommend this little spot! read more

On a cold Friday afternoon we needed a quick bite before meeting some friends. We were recommended to visit Pho Real by the owner of Valleygirl. It did not disappoint! There was no wait plus the staff was kind and helpful. We ordered a bowl of pho and the pork fried rice. The food was so delicious, fresh, and very very hot. All of that was much needed on a cold February day! read more

The Pho had good flavor, I didn't like how the broth was cloudy and all the herbs are placed inside your bowl so you don't have a side plate of it to control how much of what you want to add. The spring rolls were fresh but the peanut sauce was so thick and too peanut-ty for my liking. Friendly staff. Got the pho before the spring rolls. Done with pho then spring rolls arrived. I liked how there was outside seating to enjoy the beautiful day. Please note there's a service charge included. read more

Order Pho around 8pm for pickup, estimated pickup time was 8:23pm. I show up around 8:35pm to pick up my order and it wasnt ready and no time frame of when it would be. Thats cool, shouldnt be much longer as there are 3 people eating in here and they close at 9pm. So I go out to my car and wait, my order was finally ready at 8:57. Almost a full hour from when I placed it. The pho had flavor but it was just noodles and fatty beef with some onion on top. Overall im disappointed and won't be returning read more

Such an amazing gem of a restaurant!!! Amazing food!! The Pho what so filling and flavorful, brothers got the Bun Cha and Ramen and they licked the bowls clean. And not to mention the Bahn Mi!! Spectacular! Also the service was great!! Peter was so kinda and catered to our every need! It's off the beaten path of Main Street and is worth the extra steps! It's sad that the place wasn't busy for how good it was. But the ambiance was great. The vibe of outdoor seating was great, great music and a very warm welcome from all of the staff. Such a great place!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! read more

Pho Real is such a great (and casual) Vietnamese spot off Main Street in Breckenridge. Especially on a cold snowy day whether you are skiing/snowboarding or just walking around town. They have great prices for being in Breck, and everything comes out hot and fresh. Get the rare steak Pho and the spring rolls when you go. Also there's a phenomenal dessert place next door (waffles/churros/donuts) called Mimi & Pin that you definitely need to check out as well. They have great iced coffee there too. read more

We were looking for something warm and comforting in Breckenridge for lunch in April! We went for pho. When we arrived we were greeted and asked to order- the menu was up top and you order in the front then they bring you the food. I went for the vegan option. I asked for the restroom and they mentioned it's outside with a code, lord I waited and waited for the toliet in the cold then I decided I wouldn't freeze for a toliet so I went back inside. The warm pho was inviting- it was very large! Larger than I expected- it was good! I liked the flavoring. I then went back to the restroom and oh gosh- it was nasty kind of ruined my appetite. The food at this place was good, just my overall experience wasn't the best. read more

I love pho after snowboarding! Such a hearty meal after a cold day outdoors. Pho Real is located in what feels like the outskirts of downtown Breckenridge, but you won't have trouble finding it, since you can smell the broth aromas from across the street Service is efficient - you order at the front, and your order will be brought to where you're seated. What's unique is you can choose what ingredients go into your pho The beef broth is surprisingly great, definitely better than I expected. There was quite a lot of meat and noodles packed into a Regular sized bowl. The noodles were not the best I've ever had, but the meal was still rather enjoyable nonetheless. read more

There are no vegetables in the vegan pho. No bok choy, no carrots or broccoli...nothing. It is a bowl of noodles and tofu. With the regular accoutrements of sprouts, lime, cilantro. Complete waste of money. Straight in the trash. Edited to add: it was take out. I've never heard of having to specify wanting vegetables in the vegetarian pho option... but I guess that's how they do it here. read more

Hmmm where did my review go?! Last review I gushed on Pho Real, which is pho sho a clever name. After our last review I'd say their taste and quality has come down from 5 stars. I recall our first visit being blown away by the rich flavors and potent smell of freshly ground spices. Our last visit we thought everything was ok but not spectacular. Very fair prices and healthy serving sizes for a tourist town. read more

We each had the chicken pho in beef broth, which were delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside on their patio. Bartender made excellent drinks and service was very good. We visited Pho Real in Breckenridge and it was exactly what we were looking for on a cold day--perfect after a day of skiing. The pho was comforting with a great, flavorful broth, including their vegetable broth. The chicken sandwiches our group ordered were packed with flavor, and the bao bun appetizers were especially good--full of flavor and delicious. Service was good, and the ambiance was casual and relaxed. Highly recommend this cozy spot! read more

Cute place available for late dining (compared to other places around), parking was available, and it's shared with other establishments. Super easy to order, they are friendly and ready to answer any question. Place is clean, and well taken care of. I like the easy to be order options, build your own pho. The regular pho was a big portion and the beef broth was super tasty. The gyoza is not fried, just ok and wouldn't order again. read more

Tbh, I wasn't a huge fan of this place. The fried rice didn't have any flavor and it was super dry. On the other hand, the spring rolls and phorrito had way too much flavor and the spring rolls were so soggy. The only thing I enjoyed was the mango boba tea, I'd give that a 5/5 - so good and one of the best boba drinks I've ever had. Customer service was also not the best, most of the staff were unpleasant and looked annoyed even when people were ordering food. Definitely a place I would never go back to. read more

When you first walk in, you order your food and later they will bring it to you. Seating is first come first serve. There is a good amount of seating. It was a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. There is also seating outside as well. The restaurant in itself is pretty tidy and is clean. Food: Pho Reg 3/5 -- the pho broth was on the sweater side. They do pack the pho with protein. But one thing I wish was the broth to be a lot hotter. We got rare steak and it didn't completely cook it. It was soggy and chewy still. Spring rolls 4/5 -- nothing too special about these. Overall, it wasn't bad Bao Bun 3/5 -- Wish the Bao Bun had more meat in it. I feel like I was biting veggies the whole time and the fat part of the pork belly. Overall, the food wasn't mediocre but it wasn't also THE best. The pricing of the food was also not worth it. We paid total about $40. I would come back if I was really craving pho! read more

I wanted to really like this, but unfortunately, my banh mi was subpar. I got the Roasted Pork Belly with all the fixing. There was absolutely no flavor to pork belly. The banh mi was super dry and rather tasteless. I had to put hoisin sauce in my sandwich just to make it palatable. The aromatics were fresh, which I guess was a saving grace. Other folks at the table all ordered pho, and they seem to like their dish. read more

This place strikes out for us in all categories. If you order take out on their website, don't believe the ETA given. We Ordered take out. This is during off season ( mid October). Only one cook in the back. Another person serves as cook/packer, waitress, bartender and cashier. We ordered their ordinary items from the menu that normally should take 15-20 minutes to be ready. In stead, we waited an hour for our order. The soups was spilling all over the place, my wife had to carry the paper bag from underneath with both hands. (See the picture) As for food, the order menu is something I have not seen before. For $18, only one type of meat is avaliable. Each additional costs 3 or more bucks. The pho came with no lime, no veggie, nothing. Another first. The meatball looks like it has been dry aged then burned. So is the "brisket." (See pictures) Another first. This is probably the worst self-proclaimed pho place cooked up by Mexican young cook. Anyway, I would avoid at all cost. read more

Came here and got the crispy spring rolls, char siu ramen, and rare steak pho. The spring rolls were broken open and burned. The ramen was the worst I've ever had: watery, lukewarm broth with no flavor at all. And $20 on top of it all... DONT order it. Thankfully they were willing to remove it from the bill because I couldn't eat a single bite. The pho was the only thing that was edible, it was decent but not good enough to come back for. Everything was overpriced and the service was slow despite the restaurant being empty. I don't write negative reviews, but I would not recommend coming here. read more

I believe this was the only Vietnamese establishment at Breckenridge so my expectations shouldn't have been high to begin with, but if you're going to use the word "real" in your name, that's what I expect to have. The only thing real about this spot was the people running it - no frills, efficient, and of Asian background (I could hear them speaking Vietnamese). Other than that, the pho was sorely lacking. Coming from the Motherland myself, I'm accustomed to the aromatic and typical smell of pho permeating throughout Vietnamese restaurants. It's often a good indication of the heartiness of that broth, which should be simmering away. Maybe it was the freezing cold, but it didn't smell like much except moisture - there was plenty of steam from the conflicting temperatures inside and outside. The setup feels a bit like a food court - order from the menu board and pick your ingredients for the noodle soup. There were other items like vermicelli, Vietnamese sandwiches, egg rolls, spring rolls, and boba tea drinks. Pricing was decent for that resort area, but the portion of the pho was on the smaller side - the amount of rare steak slices I received wasn't bad though. I wish I could say the broth hit the spot on such a cold day, but it lacked flavor and felt as though I was only drinking a salty hot soup. This seems to be an adequate place for the locals and tourists as diversity is quite limited in the area. I will opt for another restaurant the next time I'm in town, pho real! read more

This is a great spot to stop in for a quick, delicious bite! The edamame was hot but a little too heavy on the salt for me. The springs rolls were so tasty and refreshing we ordered a second set of them, I really loved the peanut sauce served with it. The pho was amazing. The broth has so much flavor. I do wish it was served in a slightly bigger bowl so that it would be easier to mix all the goodies in, they are served on top. We will be back whenever we pop into Breck! read more

Got a table fast got sat down and got drinks and appetizers after waiting for 10 mins to even get waters got completely ignored for not even kidding 50 minutes then we finally got out appetizers then before we couple even finished our spring rolls the brought out our pho and just took the plate with half of a spring roll left then got ignored when asking for the check also only got 2 peace's of steak in my pho would not go back to expensive for the food and service we received!!! read more
