This is also the first time we were so incredibly rushed. It included taking our drinks when they weren't empty, asking 10x if we were done when the dishes were clearly still half full. The amount of times we were deep in conversation and the staff interrupted us to ask if the food we were actively eating was done- it was unlike any other time we had been here. The food was again great but the rush on an $800 meal for 4 people was absurd - not to mention the staff rushing and hitting a pregnant woman repeatedly was crazy. I don't know if they're trying to turn over tables but this was our first experience with this here but it was so obnoxious and all evening. It really ruined the meal because it was so apparent we were being rushed.

Out of all of my visits, my favorite is the weekend brunch menu. There are so many yummy things to choose from like the breakfast burrito, the banana Forester French toast, the various of Benedict's including crab, and there were a bunch of various breakfast sandwiches, but the most menu appealing one that I liked is the pork roll. On my last trip I wound getting a chicken brie apples bacon on brioche bread. It was a special of the day. From the moment I bid into it, I knew I would love it for the savoriness, the crisp and sweet tasting bread. There was a side of potatoes... Very nicely seasoned and the perfect crunch to them. On my last visit, it was a total of 10 people in our group and the customer service was great. We were all able to pay with separate checks... Always a perk. The waiter was super super friendly and kept our coffee refills going. Inside it is busy which could lead away from the quiet ambience, but I didn't mind it at all.

Former home vibe, i was one of the earliest weekday diners. Since it a solo dinner, I opted for a few sides: Kimchi rice Cucumber salad Brussel sprouts (no meat or butter) The cucumber salad was so good, I ordered a second portion!! The tofu burnt ends and bbq jack fruit sounded so intriguing that I almost begged the kind server to ask the chef if they could serve a side portion. Otherwise the bbq is served in pound increments. For my lucky tummy, they obliged and wow those are both delicious vegan options! Maybe next time, i will visit here earlier during my trip to be able to take home leftovers. Booth was cozy and love that water bottle to refill my glass is on my table which sounds weird but I drink alot of water! Small place , would recommend reservations for weekend dining. Parking lot was limited too. Enjoy!

There's two dining areas that can be chosen with one having a bar that can seat 10+ people. Started with a couple of great drinks and their french onion soup. The soup was topped with a cheese layer and pieces of crostinis within the soup. Great for a snowy day. The california chicken wrap was a big meal especially with the flaky french fries on the side. The sandwich needed more chipotle mayo on the side which was great for the fries. My medium rare wagyu burger with the bacon jam was HUGE! The jam did taste like beef jerky which was a new experience. We will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items.

We didn't realize that the restaurant was a part of a country club until we arrived (no where in the reviews did it mention this) but we've done brunch at other country clubs throughout Jersey and it was wonderful. Upon entering the restaurant we saw their only brunch option was for a brunch buffet and from our quick scans of the buffet walking to the hostess stand we all decided we would not be doing brunch (pastries looked like they were from Coscto, warm food looked as though it had been sitting there for a while and the omelettes coming from the omelette station didn't look spectacular so we opted to do their lunch menu instead. Service was SSSLLLLLOOOOOWWWWW! From the very beginning until the very end. It took about 15 minutes before our server arrived to greet us, then another 15 for our first round of cocktails to come out, the about a half an hour for us to be told that they were out of 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered ... so no lie, after being there a full hour we finally received 2 of the 3 appetizers and were then just able to order a second round of cocktails and our main courses. The cocktails weren't the greatest either. We thought perhaps the first round was our fault because we all tried their "blackberry espresso martini" and we knew it was a risk from the beginning ... so we ordered "safer" cocktails for round 2 and the prosecco based cocktails were even worse than the blackberry espresso martinis smh. I truly don't understand how one messes up prosecco + a splash of limoncello and cranberry (that was what was supposed to be in the cocktail) but they certainly messed it up, to the point where I didn't drink it. Our entrees finally arrived and WOMP WOMP WOMP! Overall every single one was MID at best ... and all I had was French onion soup and a wedge salad .... like how is it possible for those to be BLAH? Food was so MEH we didn't even take pics lol. Needless to say we all agreed we wouldn't be back and wished we had decided on what was our 2nd option for brunch instead.

I had the seafood cobb salad as my main, and it was quite large, I took some home and ate it the next day. desserts are made in house and very delicious. chocolate cake is a massive slice, so share it! I didn't take any photos this time because we were too busy eating & enjoying the ambiance. the chef came out & greeted us at the end which was a nice touch. they have happy hour specials, a sunday prix fixe option, and live music a few nights a week. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Prior to…read morerealizing the restaurant was attached to a hotel & not just to any hotel, but to an aLoft, I thought based on prior reviews I would be in for a treat, but after realizing it was attached to the aLoft my expectations were lowered. It was also Mother's Day brunch which I believe may have played a role in the overall experience too given the number of tables they were turning over, but with serving just a buffet and being what seemed like properly staffed I expected better. The food - horrible! I mean the warming dishes weren't even ignited and for the ones that weren't empty, the remaining scraps of food were overcooked, cold and beyond bland. Honestly better tasting food at a Chinese buffet. The "raw bar" was the best thing available - and that's only because they had nice sized shrimp but were out of whatever items were also supposed to be a part of it. My Bloody Mary was atrocious! Tomato juice and tobacco was basically what it was. Our server John was really nice and energetic and doing the best he could - everything he could control was controlled so he deserves more than the 2 stars this review is receiving. Oh and the best part, this was $75 per person and not including a single mimosa. But they did give all the women a single stem rose when the check was requested tho lol.
