We used this company to replace some blown out outer panes from two double glass windows and were very pleased with their work. This time we needed double panes replaced on one of our kitchen windows and in our sliding glass patio door. I got an cost estimate over the phone and paid for it during the call. They had to order the parts and when they arrived the company called us to schedule the service. A whole crew arrived. The head guy was very friendly and personable. The whole crew worked quickly and finished the entire job within an hour. What's more, we had ordered new rollers for the door which weren't needed after all. The guy told us our cost would be adjusted and so it was! Turns out they didn't charge our card until after the work was completed. Yes indeed would we use them again if the need arose. But here's a tip: it's far more efficient to just give the office closest to you a call instead of using the online form. No one responded to that. read more

Long story, but suffice it to say that this company is highly incompetent and their customer service is atrocious. We moved on after having been told over the course of several days of hunting down an estimate, that it would be in my e mail the next day, and the next and the next... Never happened. Then when the estimate finally came in, thanks to my relentless pursuit based on principle alone, it was close to $1,000 more than another bid we got. Needless to say we did not use Sound Glass. Stay clear and read the other one star reviews. People don't take the time to make up bad reviews for no reason, but good reviews are made up all the time from owners, family and friends. Buyer beware. read more

We had sliding doors installed by Sound Glass. I want to compliment all of their craftspeople who came to do the work. Everyone did such meticulous work. We are very happy with the result. read more

Sound Glass installed our doors and windows during our original build out a few years back. After much wear and tear the hinge on my front door failed during business hours leaving us unable to close it properly. I called and they had a technician out withing one hour. On a Friday! Right before the holidays! They were prompt and professional. What else can you ask for? - Marta, Olalla Bay Market read more

On November 16, 2023 Sound Glass (in Bremerton) put in our new glass shower enclosure. They did an excellent job and everything was done exactly right. They are knowledgeable, polite, on time, and use high quality materials. We will definitely use them again for any other glass work we need. Bob & Kathy read more

My order was a small one but they treated me with top-notch service. A small order can be a big headache if you go to the wrong company. A few years ago I had ordered glass for a table, from a competitor (which I think is out of business now, thank goodness) They overcharge for the order they insisted I did not need tempered glass. Within weeks I placed something down and the glass broke. It was dangerous and a big mess to get rid of. Fast forward to 2020, a quarantine project, I refinished our bedroom set. I wanted to do the nightstand and dresser in glass top. Sound glass did an incredible job. They took my order and allowed me to pick it up in Bremerton while social distancing. Price was great, product was just as ordered. As suspected, they recommend a tempered glass, which will be much safer. Highly recommended. read more

Sound Glass - Glass & Mirrors Near Me - Bremerton, Washington

I called to get an estimate to replace a picture window. The estimator came out and took all his measurements and said he'd send me an estimate in a "day or so." A week later I called to ask about my estimate and was told he is "still working on it." It's been over 3 weeks and still nothing. I'll be going with Dahl Glass. read more

I've used Sound Glass before and thought they a great job. Now I can't get them to return a phone call or respond to their website form.

I lost confidence in Sound Glass after my most recent (and last) transaction with with this company. But first a word about a prior job since it will tend to give one an idea about the company's overall performance. Sound Glass did a good job installing our deck rails and windows several years ago. Although the rail installation left a few extra holes in the deck that were never addressed, they are not very noticeable. The window installation was very good. At the time I asked the manager to give me a price on the installation of similar rails on another porch. I never heard from him again. Maybe that was for the best. As to my current issue: After many years of use the glass in the doors of my fireplace insert cracked. When I phoned a local fireplace company they suggested I have the glass cut at Sound Glass since I was not able to find the make and model of the old insert. I was familiar with Sound Glass so I phoned to get an idea of the potential cost. I informed the woman who answered the phone that I needed to have two pieces of glass cut for the insert because I felt the unbroken piece would be at risk. I told her that the pieces were about twelve inches by twelve inches in size. She informed me that the high temperature glass was expensive and would cost about $104 and change. I agreed to drop off the old glass to serve as a template for the new pieces. At Sound Glass a man came to the front office and measured the glass and the woman gave me a price of $95.00 since the actual measurements were less than my estimated ones. The next day I was informed that the glass was ready for pickup. The actual cost was $103.55. Apparently an estimate of cost at Sound Glass does not include tax, although customers will certainly be charged for it. When I arrived home and unwrapped the glass I found they had cut only one piece instead of two. Now I had two pieces of glass, one clear and the older piece, that I had supplied, a smoky brown. When I phoned and said that only one piece had been cut her response was that she had informed me it would be expensive. I concluded that arguing that I had asked for the cost of two pieces would be an exercise in futility. Nevertheless, I was astounded that a professional company would simply sell me a new piece of glass knowing that the glass on the front of my fireplace would not match. Her response was that the old piece changed color after long exposure to heat and that I should know that! I gave up, concluding that customer service and attention to detail are not a part of this company's business practice. I contacted another company who gave me an estimate for two pieces of the same glass for $19.36 more than the single piece at Sound Glass. And -- they charged me exactly the cost of the estimate. I am now aware of a glass company where customer service, attention to detail and reasonable cost are apparently the norm and It is NOT Sound Glass! read more

I waited 3 weeks to get someone out to my home for an estimate on a sky light and a new window install. I was told the person would be at my home between 11-12. By noon no one showed up and no call. I phoned the store. The woman I talked to said he was on his way. He showed up at 12:30. No apology for keeping us waiting. 2 weeks later I had to phone the store to find out where my bid was. No one knew where the bid was. Later that day we were emailed the bid. Not impressed with the service here. We will be shopping elsewhere read more

Rude and inconsiderate, will never use them again. Employees were rude and did not offer help. Windows came with no packaging.

They came out to take measurements and emailed me a quote. I replied asking a follow up question and they said they would get back to me. Never heard back. Waste of time. read more

The reason I give this company a 3 is because I'm a person who is greatly impacted with first impressions. The gentleman who came out to do our bid was almost just not happy to be there and when I had the door open to see if he needed to come in at all I was told " you don't have to stand there I'm not coming inside " the gentleman who came to do the work on the other hand was very professional and did an amazing job I wish I could give him a separate review. read more

Hard to get a hold of, hard to get a bid from them. It's been a month and we still haven't heard back. They gave me a bid for another project awhile ago over the phone, and than a guy should up saying there was no bid. They did replace the broken glass on our tenants window but than they sent the paid bill to our tenants address instead of billing address three months later. Still haven't received the second bid for 8 windows. Guess they don't want our money either. read more

The people working at Sound Glass in Bremerton are a wonderful group and very easy to work with! I have had several installations done by Ted and George and they are hands down the most professional, hard working, kind and helpful guys at the shop. I was running a little bit late from a previous appointment and they were nice enough to wait until I arrived rather than just leave (which has happened to me with another company). They worked quickly but did NOT compromise the quality in the slightest. Best of all, I couldn't even tell that they were there because they did such a great job cleaning up after themselves. When I need more glass work done, I will be calling Sound Glass and requesting Ted and George again! Thanks guys! read more

This is a belated 'Thank You' to Sound Glass. We had the glass in an eighteen year old garden window fail. The employee who came out spent time trying to determine whose window it was, since, of course I didn't have the records. I didn't even get his name, which really makes me chagrined because this happened two or so years ago. The next day we got a call from him saying he had discovered the name of the company that had manufactured the window, had arranged for them to contact us and said that there was a life time guarantee and that it wouldn't cost us anything. This was music to eighty year old ears. Again Thank You Sound Glass for having resourceful conscientious and honest employees. Gene K. read more

We made an appt, called and confirmed said appointment the day of, an hour after the scheduled appt time he was a no show. We called the office and where told that and I quote "he forgot." We got a call ten minutes later and said he could be here in five minutes, so we let it go and said "ok." He came in like it was an unconvinced for him to be there, proceeded rude through out the time he was in our home and told us he would call with an estimate. It's been 2 weeks now and we have yet to hear from them. I would NEVER recommend Sound Glass to any family, friends or strangers! read more

Absolutely horrible experience. We had two windows replaced. The man who came to the house to measure was unfriendly and said almost nothing. He seemed to be in a hurry and told us nothing about the windows or how they would be replaced. We received a call the next day and were scheduled for a date two weeks out. That was fine. The installer came on the day of the appointment and was here all day. I was at work and my husband was working here at home. When I got home from work, the installer had just left. I was horrified. The first window faces out on our deck and the entrance to our house. There was caulking material smeared on the new window and they had cut through our cedar siding. I don't know why they did this but they then slapped up two inch wide unfinished wood slats around the edges of the window to hide the hole they had drilled in the exterior of our house. These slats weren't even the same color wood. The other window looked exactly the same as the first one. When I called to ask why they had left our house in this condition I was told that was the way they always did windows. I asked about the horrible unfinished wood slats and he said "We aren't painters. You will have to take care of that yourself". They refused to do anything to help us and I don't think there is anything we can do about it. My husband was home at the time but he was busy and assumed the job would be done properly. He didn't even realize the installer had left and nothing was said about the work. I told our contractor who is working on another house for us about what had happened and he said he would never recommend this company or use them. I wish I had asked him first. Now we have to pay someone else to fix what they messed up. read more
