Thrilled with my new window! The old one was cloudy with a broken seal. They were timely and fees were reasonable and installation was fast and professional. Thanks!

This is our second time working with Beacon Hill Glass and they do phenomenal work! The responsiveness to our inquiry was timely and consistent. Many panes in our true divided light windows failed after 12 years. These are not inexpensive to replace but this team did amazing, quality job. They were great to work with and they showed up right on time once the appointment was set after the free consultation for the bid. They completed the job even more quickly than expected, and the cleanup during and post project was excellent. We appreciated the careful treatment of our property and delicate wood windows. I would highly recommend them and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

I have an unusually shaped desk (see photos), and had two different glass companies take measurements and ultimately fail to deliver the quality I was looking for. One was WAY off- the glass would actually stick out. The other one had to cut it in different parts to make it easier. HOWEVER, the glass kept on sliding and hitting each other where they met. Sometimes, chips of glass would fly towards my face. Ugh. Not fun. So we called Moses, and they painstakingly took the measurements and had it ready within two weeks! Around the same time, the glass we had for a credenza that was ordered from the "Chipping Company" started to, go figure, chip. I asked him how much it would cost to replace them. Since he knew we were on an extreme budget cut, he offered to wash it and just flip it over at no extra charge. So now, the chipped side is against the wall, hiding behind a plant! There wasn't any question, when I needed glass at home for my own dining table, I called Moses from Beacon Hill Glass.

My house had original 30 year-old Milgard window's and I prioritize quality over price. Oleg was able to get out to me right away, he sent me a quote and we initiated the order. When the windows arrived and weather permitted, his team came out to replace the cheap windows and slider my GC put in and they did a fantastic job. Everyone at Kot's was so great we requested a quote for replacing the rest of the windows in the original structure which were installed last week. The whole team was fantastic to work with from start to finish. I had a lot of quotes, some cheaper but none with the level of integrity and pride in their service that I found at Kot's. Thank you Oleg, Daniel, and the crew.

I am not only paying for a price of replacement glass but service as well, they are professional, responsive, honest and knowledgeable, and that's what I'm paying for. I will be keeping there number for future service and I recommend you do the same.

Update: Since…read moreposting this review the company has continued to threaten me by emailing me directly. I understand the company disagrees with my review, but I was disappointed by the tone of their response and the implied pressure to remove it. Being told they would publicly respond and report the review to Yelp and Google if I didn't remove it felt unnecessarily aggressive and intimidating. Also in response to their comments below Thank you for confirming the exact root of the problem: you looked at a three-pane window, saw that only the middle section was currently foggy, and assumed I only wanted that single section replaced. As a professional window company, it was your responsibility to clearly state: "We see only the middle pane is failing, so this quote is strictly for one pane of glass, not the entire window unit you asked for." You didn't do that. You just wrote "1 glass replacement" on a quote for a "window replacement" request and expected a regular homeowner to know the technical difference. The fact remains: I asked for a window replacement. I provided a photo of the entire window. Other companies looked at the exact same information and managed to quote the entire three-pane unit for a price comparable to what you charged me for just the middle section. You can keep calling a customer's genuine financial frustration "deceptive" to protect your online rating, but your own responses show a complete lack of accountability. You made an assumption, failed to communicate it clearly upfront, and I had to pay the premium for it. Prospective clients can read this back-and-forth and decide for themselves if they want to risk dealing with a company that hides behind ambiguous quote terminology instead of practicing transparent communication. I am done repeating myself. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I recently had a foggy/failing window repaired that consisted of 3 separate sections. Unfortunately, due to some miscommunication during the quoting process, only the middle section was replaced. That was really frustrating because it made the overall cost much higher compared to other companies I had received quotes from. To their credit, they did offer to replace the remaining sections at a discount after I brought up the issue. However, even with the discount, the final price still ends up being significantly more expensive than competitors. Had everything been communicated more clearly upfront, I likely would have chosen a different company. The biggest issue for me was the lack of clarity during the quoting process. It felt misleading to realize afterward that the quote only covered one section instead of the full window I thought we had discussed. That said, I do want to give credit to the installation crew because they were excellent. They were respectful, worked quickly, kept everything clean, and did quality work. My frustration is mainly with the communication and quoting side of the experience, not the installers themselves.

Looking for a Christmas miracle? Well, FDC Glass just became my holiday hero! Picture this:…read moreshattered glass panes on my front door, a dozen contractors telling me "just replace the whole door" (aka "give us more money"), and me slowly losing hope faster than a snowman in July. Enter FDC Glass, cape flapping in the wind (okay, maybe not literally, but you get the vibe). Not only was their quote actually reasonable, but they didn't hit me with the classic contractor combo of upsells and surprise charges. They even sealed up my entrance while working on the door - no extra fee, no fuss, just good old-fashioned service. The result? My door looks fantastic, my wallet isn't crying, and I'm singing their praises louder than carolers in December. I've already told my HOA about them, and you bet I'll be calling them for my other properties. TL;DR: FDC Glass = Christmas miracle workers who actually fix what's broken instead of trying to sell you a whole new house. 10/10 would recommend!

We had issues with the bay window that started a few months after it was installed. Signature was very responsive, and replaced the window free of charge. Unfortunately, the issue ended up being with the construction of the window itself, so the 2nd window also had issue. Replacement #3 was also free of charge, but we didn't figure out the cause of the issue until after window #3 was compromised as well. Signature replaced the window again, #4, but this time with a different brand of window, upgraded from the original - again, at no cost to us. So while our journey isn't typically "great", it's refreshing to work with a company that stands behind their work and products they sell. They were responsive every step of the way. I generally judge a company by how they react to problems, not just by the fact there were problems. And Signature earned my 5 stars. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I got bids, and was the most impressed with Danny L at Signature Windows. We had a tight deadline because the home was going on the market and access to the window, especially in the rain, was really challenging. Meeting the deadline, and the safety of the installers, were non-negotiable. Danny came out the very next day to measure the Window From Hell and, not only did he give me the best price, but his company was the only one that had all the scaffolding equipment readily available at no extra charge. The window arrived sooner than expected, and installation was quickly scheduled to meet the deadline. Then we hit a snag: some epic rain made the cedar roof too slippery for safe conditions. Brent and his crew of expert (and very brave) installers rigged up a safe way to haul this brand-new Mother of ALL Windows up to the second floor and install it using very long ladders, secure scaffolding, and harnesses. I think we had 4 or 5 installers for this job. It took all day to get the old Window From Hell out and the new Mother of All Windows installed. But what a job! Perfect caulk lines, perfect cleaning of the glass, perfect clean-up of the job site, indoors and out. Job done ON TIME, SAFELY, and at an excellent price. If Signature can handle my Window From Hell, I am very confident they can install ordinary double-hung windows that exceed your expectations for quality, price, timeliness, and workmanship. I highly recommend Signature Windows.

Initially, we weren't sure if we wanted to replace panes of glass or entire windows. During Petr's walk through, he explained which windows would work to have individual panes replaced versus which were not salvageable. He also carefully explained how installation would work given newer windows aren't as deep so spacers would be inserted to make up the difference. His quote then showed the cost of replacing individual panes where possible versus the entire window so we could run the numbers and decide. I appreciated this transparency, he could have just told me I needed to replace entire windows and made more on the job. I was also told that there would be no follow up after the quote unless I had questions or wanted to proceed. I appreciated that it wasn't going to be some sort of hard sell as so many companies tend to do. We opted to replace all our windows and made a visit to their showroom to pick styles. Installation took 4 days and the crew arrived when promised every day and worked with care and attention including being careful with and kind to our small dog running around. Given the pandemic, they always wore their masks. At the end of the project they cleaned up completely after themselves. The crew lead noticed the retractable screen on our sliding door wasn't retracting smoothly so he said Milgard would be contacted to get customer service/repair/replacement started. Milgard called within 3 days. Everyone I came in contact with at Window Fellas is clearly passionate, knowledgeable, and meticulous. As a result we're very pleased with the entire process and final product. If only other home improvement projects went this well! Some reviewers have complained about a lack of response when trying to get a quote. I actually had originally contacted Window Fellas a couple of years ago and was told to submit a request via their website. I never heard back and didn't do anything further until I contacted them this go around. While I know it's frustrating to not get a response, it's worth following up! Once the connection is made, you will have their full attention, care, and expertise. I am sure they regret any missed contacts, but I have seen first hand that they are committed to providing the best service and product. You won't regret it.

The Rheem estimate from the big box store was ridiculous; the teaser price went up by 50% once they actually itemized the install. Emerald City partners with McClendon Home Services for the water heater installs. Jesse and Aaron were on time and professional. Jesse checked our meter at the street and explained why we didn't need an expansion tank and, in fact, why having one could unnecessarily increase our water bill. We found him to be very friendly and seemingly honest and dedicated to quality from his workers. What we experienced afterward was a very different story. He had indicated this would be a 1-2 day project. It ended up being 8-10 days, and there were still issues that they have yet to follow up on. After at least 5 separate attempts on our part to get things fixed and finalized. Every time we call, they commit to a follow up, and then we are completely ghosted. We were also promised proof that they register the 50-year warranty paperwork with Trex, for us. But we have yet to see any evidence of this. The workers, most days, didn't show up, gave no notice that they weren't coming, and required us to constantly call, email, text, to try and find out what was going on. It has been over a month now, since the project was supposedly "completed". And still, even after another phone call this past week, no one has called us back to fix or even schedule anything for the remaining issues. Very disappointed in this company!!!
