My sister had Pacific order and install glass for her new kitchen cabinet doors. When she got them home, she discovered that somehow, weirdly, the spacers that had been used between each door had eaten into the surface of the paint and left very visible marks. She tried every cleaning product/method she could think of, then we called Pacific. They said bring them in, and they did their best in trying to remove the marks, but no success. Marty the owner said in 50 years he had never seen such a thing. I looked into having the doors repainted, but that was risky and very expensive, so we had to get the doors replaced. He agreed to pay for them, we had them shipped directly, and they took the glass from the original doors and put it in the new ones. Everyone was so kind and friendly, Marty went above and beyond, and we are very grateful for such ethical and careful customer service. And the doors turned out beautiful! I went in initially to have a new glass top cut for a coffee table. Marty, the owner of the store heard me speaking with one of the employees, Eden,and asked if I already had a piece of glass, which I did. He said if I brought that in he could cut it down and round the edges for me quite easily. Does not respect private property. Road is marked private property and no through traffic, and company van still sped up and down out long gravel driveway, splashing through potholes. We are obviously not a public road, and their are plenty of other turning point, so I do not understand why, especially when it's so obvious. Thank you for this beautiful idea, and for seeing it through so quickly and simplyfying my life! I scheduled a measurement of the bottom shelf of my medicine cabinet. I wanted a piece of glass as my powders and potions were damaging the painted surface, and the "temporary solution" (over a year of looking ugly) was a thick plastic liner designed for under the sink. I intended to re-paint the surface. Instead Marty suggested a mirror. He brought the mirror with a tiny pad underneath, so I could easily remove and clean it and the result is just beautiful. Due to the good review I went to this place, it turned out to be a huge mistake. 1. The overcharged me. 2. They are not honest, they secretly add cutting fee and polishing fee. 3. The cutting fee they charge me was crazy. For a $98 glass, they charged me $47 cutting fee! 4. The size was wrong. First was half inch bigger. After I took it back to recut, they cut it it half shorter, which make it totally useless. 5. They lie about everything. Told me the glass will be ready in 3 days but I waited like a week. I had used these folks on a prior occasion when I had a ding in the windshield. They were great! Not sure where that review went, but I digress. This summer my sliding glass door broke (the lock). I couldn't find a kit that fit so I finally called a locksmith and he said it can't be fixed. Well, I've been looking for an excuse to get rid of this door that was all scratched up by the prior owner's dog and had drill holes in the frame from an old security system and had those nasty plastic vertical blinds that resemble a cheap apartment. Pacific Glass came, measured and estimated. I liked these guys so much I didn't bother getting another estimate. I ordered a nice new sliding glass door with the blinds inside the panes. I'd heard they are prone to breaking, but the guys at the shop assured me they were great. They also gave me a 15 year warranty in writing. It took two months from ordering to actually get the door, but that was due to the manufacturer, not Pacific Glass. They were very organized, kept me updated and called me when it was in. Installation was just a couple days later. A nice guy called Ever installed my door and he did a great job. I mean a GREAT job. I guess we'll find out for sure this rainy season, but it really looks awesome - like nothing happened. I had no clue how much getting rid of those vertical blinds and going for blinds in the glass would make such a huge difference in appearance. My spouse and I are in love. Our only problem now is that we want to change out the rest of our windows too. HA! We did think $800 labor for a job that took one guy three hours was a bit high. We do realize there was travel time and also the time for someone to come measure/estimate and then order the product. The skylight was 20 years old and the seals had failed with moisture inside the unit. However, the skylight let in too much light so I could not use computer on sunny days. About 18 months ago, I had a window in my truck canopy broke out by a vandal. The specialist was able to custom make a replacement that looked identical to the one still remaining and installed it. The price was also very reasonable. I vowed to take my future glass needs to them first. Recently, and after a very unusual heat spell reaching over 115 degrees, the window started to separate from the base. I stopped by and asked them if they could fix it. One of the servicemen dropped what their were doing and told me he would fix me up right away. 15 minutes later, it was as good as new. I asked how much I owed and he told me it was warranty work. They did not. Eventually, I got someone out to measure. He said he'd get me an estimate in two to three days. That was a month ago. I called two or three times about the estimate. No response. I recently had Pacific Glass replace a couple of double-pane glasses of my garden window. Pacific Glass was referred by a few folks in the neighborhood. When I called Pacific Glass to schedule an appointment for an estimate, Calving made it fast and easy to make it in a few days. Marty came out to look at the existing glasses, measured them, answered all my questions and emailed his estimate the next day, as promised. He was such a nice person to work with. The estimate was reasonable compared to others I had received. The glasses were ready in less than 10 days and were installed in 2 weeks after the order. Hayden and Juan installed the glasses and they were very friendly, courteous and customer-focused. Their work was excellent and Hayden made sure that I was satisfied with it before they left. When I found a minor scratch on one of the glasses after the installation, Marty swiftly ordered a new one and made the whole process painless. Steven came out to install it in a couple of weeks and he absolutely made sure that the new glass was flawless and met my expectations. He was friendly, respectful, patient and really easy to work with. Just bought a quartz table top for a thousand dollar. We left it in front of our garage. That morning the installation guys came and park on top of it cracking it in half. Went into the business to see if they would come clean but they denied it. Also when they in and installed my shower glass they did not properly installed the glass shower door, and when I went in to complain they told me that when it breaks which it will, call them and they'll come fix it.
