My sister had Pacific order and install glass for her new kitchen cabinet doors. When she got them home, she discovered that somehow, weirdly, the spacers that had been used between each door had eaten into the surface of the paint and left very visible marks. She tried every cleaning product/method she could think of, then we called Pacific. They said bring them in, and they did their best in trying to remove the marks, but no success. Marty the owner said in 50 years he had never seen such a thing. I looked into having the doors repainted, but that was risky and very expensive, so we had to get the doors replaced. He agreed to pay for them, we had them shipped directly, and they took the glass from the original doors and put it in the new ones. Everyone was so kind and friendly, Marty went above and beyond, and we are very grateful for such ethical and careful customer service. And the doors turned out beautiful! I highly recommend these guys!!

I went in initially to have a new glass top cut for a coffee table. Marty, the owner of the store heard me speaking with one of the employees, Eden, and asked if I already had a piece of glass, which I did. He said if I brought that in he could cut it down and round the edges for me quite easily. I went home and got it and dropped it off and less than an hour later I got a call that the glass table top was ready. When I got back to the store and asked how much I owed, to my surprise I was told "No Worries"! I cannot believe such kindness and good service in this day and age. Thank you so much everybody!

AMAZING! I had a beautiful solution and project DONE in under a matter of minutes. I don't have to paint or do anything further. Thank you for this beautiful idea, and for seeing it through so quickly and simplyfying my life! I scheduled a measurement of the bottom shelf of my medicine cabinet. I wanted a piece of glass as my powders and potions were damaging the painted surface, and the "temporary solution" (over a year of looking ugly) was a thick plastic liner designed for under the sink. I intended to re-paint the surface. Instead Marty suggested a mirror. He brought the mirror with a tiny pad underneath, so I could easily remove and clean it and the result is just beautiful. He FAR exceeded my expectations! In a time where it seems impossible to get anything done, and certainly in any kind of timely way, this was truly exemplary customer service. Thank you! It's a small home improvement, but every time I open that cabinet I get a little thrill. In one afternoon, I had a lovely solution and a completed project! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!

Had these guys come out for an estimate, the guy broke the window to be replaced. Then I had to chase them down for a quote!

Cody suggested a combination of a Low-e glass to keep out excess heat, along with a dark gray tint to eliminate bright light.

Looking for a Christmas miracle? Well, FDC Glass just became my holiday hero! Picture this:…read moreshattered glass panes on my front door, a dozen contractors telling me "just replace the whole door" (aka "give us more money"), and me slowly losing hope faster than a snowman in July. Enter FDC Glass, cape flapping in the wind (okay, maybe not literally, but you get the vibe). Not only was their quote actually reasonable, but they didn't hit me with the classic contractor combo of upsells and surprise charges. They even sealed up my entrance while working on the door - no extra fee, no fuss, just good old-fashioned service. The result? My door looks fantastic, my wallet isn't crying, and I'm singing their praises louder than carolers in December. I've already told my HOA about them, and you bet I'll be calling them for my other properties. TL;DR: FDC Glass = Christmas miracle workers who actually fix what's broken instead of trying to sell you a whole new house. 10/10 would recommend!

Update: Since…read moreposting this review the company has continued to threaten me by emailing me directly. I understand the company disagrees with my review, but I was disappointed by the tone of their response and the implied pressure to remove it. Being told they would publicly respond and report the review to Yelp and Google if I didn't remove it felt unnecessarily aggressive and intimidating. Also in response to their comments below Thank you for confirming the exact root of the problem: you looked at a three-pane window, saw that only the middle section was currently foggy, and assumed I only wanted that single section replaced. As a professional window company, it was your responsibility to clearly state: "We see only the middle pane is failing, so this quote is strictly for one pane of glass, not the entire window unit you asked for." You didn't do that. You just wrote "1 glass replacement" on a quote for a "window replacement" request and expected a regular homeowner to know the technical difference. The fact remains: I asked for a window replacement. I provided a photo of the entire window. Other companies looked at the exact same information and managed to quote the entire three-pane unit for a price comparable to what you charged me for just the middle section. You can keep calling a customer's genuine financial frustration "deceptive" to protect your online rating, but your own responses show a complete lack of accountability. You made an assumption, failed to communicate it clearly upfront, and I had to pay the premium for it. Prospective clients can read this back-and-forth and decide for themselves if they want to risk dealing with a company that hides behind ambiguous quote terminology instead of practicing transparent communication. I am done repeating myself. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I recently had a foggy/failing window repaired that consisted of 3 separate sections. Unfortunately, due to some miscommunication during the quoting process, only the middle section was replaced. That was really frustrating because it made the overall cost much higher compared to other companies I had received quotes from. To their credit, they did offer to replace the remaining sections at a discount after I brought up the issue. However, even with the discount, the final price still ends up being significantly more expensive than competitors. Had everything been communicated more clearly upfront, I likely would have chosen a different company. The biggest issue for me was the lack of clarity during the quoting process. It felt misleading to realize afterward that the quote only covered one section instead of the full window I thought we had discussed. That said, I do want to give credit to the installation crew because they were excellent. They were respectful, worked quickly, kept everything clean, and did quality work. My frustration is mainly with the communication and quoting side of the experience, not the installers themselves.
