Good job on measuring, advising and installation. We love the new door! Side note: Had some concerns and questions that I inquired with other contractors/bidders and they did not respond to my inquiries. Love it when you get ghosted with legitimate questions, even reaching out to them a couple times. Shower Door Specialties did not do that. Very pleased with the work they did. read more

This was one of the better experiences I've had with a contractor. We added a stationary piece of glass to a pony wall in our shower. From day one, Jacob was communicative, the process was explained in detail, and the end product is beautiful. Every one of the interactions from measurements , install, to billing was professional. Very happy ! read more

We've got a lot to say, but I'll just hit the highlights. Took 3 tries to get it right. They'll blame you (for their mistakes) and call themselves "doing you a favor" when they "only" charge you for the materials to fix it. All in, we ended up paying an extra $1000 because they couldn't get it right the first time. Asshat thinks it's ok to yell at justifiably unhappy customers. read more

Great company to work with. Efficient, on time and very professional. And the end product looks beautiful. read more

Very happy with our new sliding shower door from Shower Door Specialties. The installation only took a few hours and it was obvious they took great pride in their work. We live in a condo building in downtown Seattle so there were some extra hurdles getting project approval and access to the building, but SDS handled all that easily. Glad to be rid of our creaky old swinging door! No more puddles on the bathroom floor after each shower. read more

I cannot say enough nice things about this company. At first I was a little hesitant to hire them because they only had a couple of reviews on yelp. Well I don't know why people haven't been writing more reviews for them because they are amazing. During a very busy time when other vendors were quoting me a couple of weeks to come estimate and even longer to install shower doors and a mirror over the sink, they came out within a day or two, gave me several different options to consider, and was able to schedule me within a couple of weeks for installation. One company came out and told me how difficult my set up was and didn't even think they could make it work due to the gap that would be there since the shower door couldn't lay flush with the bench. Well Shower Door Specialties was able to solve it and was super pleasant to work with. From the designer to the installer to the office admin, everyone was super friendly and easy to work with. They kept me informed all along the way and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them in a heartbeat! read more

We were looking at granite slabs next door and noticed shower Door Specialties in the same building. Since new shower doors are part of the project we thought we would go check them out. Darrel was working and he said he was new at this but offered to help. Did I say new? Darrel answered every question I had. Explained everything and how it worked. I learned more about shower doors in 30 minutes then I have in 30 years. We drove 30 miles down from Redmond to look at Granite and we will gladly drive the 30 miles when it is time to order our shower doors. Totally blown away that someone just learning already knows so much. Thank you Darrel for your time read more

Needed a new shower door for a large shower (almost 70" wide). Jacob was prompt in reaching out to me, scheduling a time to come out and measure the door, and provide me with an offer. He talked me through the options and provided guidance on what would work well for my shower. Quote was lower than other providers. Install was quick and painless. These guys were great. Everyone followed COVID-19 safety protocols as well. Great experience overall! read more

Had new glass shower walls and door installed on an existing tile shower base. The team was responsive, professional, and friendly. The price was very competitive and the product was beautiful. However, the installation was a bit disappointing as the silicone caulk was bumpy and rough in places. Jacob came out to look at the work and said it looked great. I was surprised that an otherwise great company would be satisfied with this work. read more

Bid glass shower door out to multiple shower door subcontractors. Shower door specialties was the low bid so I begin to engage them. After some discussion they decided to pull their bid. At this point all other bids had expired and I had to reprice my project with additional material increases. I'd be cautious using shower door specialties, they may just pull their bid on your project as well. Getting an email response is like pulling teeth with them as well. I had to leave multiple voice messages and a handful of emails just to get a call back. read more

These guys came in and saved the day on our shower repair. Knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. We now have a working shower upstairs and I couldn't be happier. The workers showed up wearing masks which was really nice that they prioritize safety. We had this company install new glass door for our new shower. We're very happy with the quote and the quality of the work. Although we had to wait for one month for the order of glass, it is understandable because of the shortage of supply during this period. The crew was respectful of our home; they did an excellent job. They installed the wrong door handle and we didn't even notice it. A week later, they came back to replace it with the right one. Highly recommend this company. read more

Jacob was awesome to deal with! I would absolutely recommend to anyone. We got his number from RM2J General Contractor (also awesome), who renovated 2 of our bathrooms . Jacob was quick to reach out, call, and quote. The process was about 2 weeks quote to install. We ordered 2 shower doors and they look and work great! I will use this company for any glass needs that I have in the future. Do not hesitate to use Shower Door Specialties! Polite, knowledgeable, very reasonable. read more

Smooth, accurate, easy professionals from beginning to end. Jacob worked really hard to get our custom shower doors accurately measured and in place. Despite the emergent snow storm they were able to install the doors accommodating my busy work schedule. They also made sure our concerns/issues were resolved with after installation. Best customer service in town I had experienced within the industry. You can't go wrong with them. You will Not regret. I would give them 10 stars. read more

We have an issue with our current corner glass shower leaking. It was very, very likely an installation error by a builder 5 years back. I tried to find people who could take a look at this (plumbers, handymen, etc) back when I wasn't positive it was the shower glass, but really no one would. Eventually I was able to narrow it down to the shower frame and contacted Shower Door Specialties. Since they didn't install it, it wasn't part of their services to fix it, but they gave me reasonable quotes over the phone for new glass and would send someone over same day to take a look at the situation. Jacob showed up within a few hours and provided impeccable service. He took a look at everything, pointed out some installation issues and even re-sealed the shower first just to see if that would work to save us some money. He was fantastic and thought through our situation from a customer perspective and focus. He acknowledged that the sealing may not work due to the installation issues, but was very nice in that if it did, it could be simple. He proved to be very trustworthy and I would have zero indecision in working with them to replace the shower glass. I know it would look fantastic and would be installed properly! :) read more
