I'm super happy with how my shower door turned out! The owner and his crew are friendly and knowledgeable and the door was installed within the expected time frame.

Perfect from start to finish. Called NWSD after two other companies did not pan out on insurance coverage and / or reviews by past customers. Contacted by phone, Dave showed up a bit early (yes!), measured & discussed options for the master shower, figured as long as he was here, would have him look at the 2nd shower as I wanted to replace it at a later time due to budget - he made time to do that as well. He was also very Covid aware, wearing a mask, which I hadn't experienced from the other companies - thumbs up! Received the quote back in less than 2 days, everything we discussed (glass type, frame type, installation/haul away) was captured in the quote. Checking their reviews - they seemed to have the kind of customer service that matched not only what I experienced in the quote/bid process, but in follow up as well. After reviewing both bids, decided to do both doors @ the same time and they accommodated my work schedule / time off to accomplish that. Appreciated it! The 30 year old doors that stuck, leaked and were missing interior handles are no more! What a beautiful difference - the new doors are semi-frameless, and can be opened/closed with one finger and there's no more squeaking as they open or close - silence is golden. I love that the handles are drilled through the glass, the rain pattern of the glass is beautiful as well. They showed up on-time for the installation, they cleaned up everything as they went and were done with both shower door installations in 3.5 hours, leaving documentation of the glass treatment as well as instructions on removing the painters tape on the sweeps and when we could use the showers. They have been a joy to deal with (quote to down-payment to scheduling to installation) and am impressed with the professionalism and courtesy I was treated with. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone based on my experience.

We recently had NW Shower Door install a frameless glass shower door in our master bath. Dave came out and did the measurements, and after paying 1/2 the price they ordered the glass. When the glass arrived they sent 4 workers out and it only took them about 2 hours to install our beautiful new glass enclosure. We were VERY impressed with the professionalism, quality, and fantastic price we received from this business, and would highly recommend them for any work you may need done. They were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, and we now have a fantastic looking shower for less than the competition bid. Thank you Dave!!!

Okay, so based on having my shower finally completed... I'm raising my origami one star to three stars. The shower looks fantastic. It looks expensive. They'd have gotten a full 5 stars from me if the shower glass had been installed on time, without the errors in measure/entering into computer. I would use them again for a second bathroom but would seriously hesitate if there was no back up shower in my house.

Outstanding customer service, product expertise, and professional installation. The entire process from initial contact by email inquiry about the company, to the final product represented by a beautiful and elegant glass shower, was seamless. I am sure this single item will increase the value of our home many fold! : - ) Company staff from completing the estimate, measurements, and installation wore masks and strictly followed COVID protocols. They were respectful of the home environment; wore shoe coverings and provided floor protection for the installation area. And, finally, I totally agree, the NWS representatives are the "Nicest people ever!"

You're there asking b/c you don't know how to fix it yourself and they have the knowledge to help you. You say something like: "I have 3 doors that need to be replaced and I need help getting started." Then you get a blank stare back at you. ... ... ... maybe he's waiting for something else? More words from me? Finally he says "I can't help you with that limited amount of information." And then he's done. That's it. Suddenly you realize you're too stupid to be engaging with such an expert in this field. Maybe I was arrogant to even think this place (called Seattle's Doorhouse" was the correct spot to start my door journey. "That guy", the "door expert", wanted me to know it, too. He rattled off the info that I would need to bring in with me to avoid 1) Wasting his time, 2) Broadcasting how "door stupid" I am, and 3) Be able to write them a fat check. I would need door measurements and wall thickness numbers. (Awesome, I can get those!) The tone ion his voice was, however, the verbal equivalent to an eye roll when he quickly listed a dozen numbers toward me: 60by35by120$13575x130x55$250. I think he was throwing me a bone to get me out the door with some numbers at high speed. It worked. I couldn't get out of there quick enough. And it's because of 3 things: 1) I don't know doors like "that guy" knows doors 2) I'm an idiot in general 3) I'm an expert at wasting the time of other experts.

I got bids, and was the most impressed with Danny L at Signature Windows. We had a tight deadline because the home was going on the market and access to the window, especially in the rain, was really challenging. Meeting the deadline, and the safety of the installers, were non-negotiable. Danny came out the very next day to measure the Window From Hell and, not only did he give me the best price, but his company was the only one that had all the scaffolding equipment readily available at no extra charge. The window arrived sooner than expected, and installation was quickly scheduled to meet the deadline. Then we hit a snag: some epic rain made the cedar roof too slippery for safe conditions. Brent and his crew of expert (and very brave) installers rigged up a safe way to haul this brand-new Mother of ALL Windows up to the second floor and install it using very long ladders, secure scaffolding, and harnesses. I think we had 4 or 5 installers for this job. It took all day to get the old Window From Hell out and the new Mother of All Windows installed. But what a job! Perfect caulk lines, perfect cleaning of the glass, perfect clean-up of the job site, indoors and out. Job done ON TIME, SAFELY, and at an excellent price. If Signature can handle my Window From Hell, I am very confident they can install ordinary double-hung windows that exceed your expectations for quality, price, timeliness, and workmanship. I highly recommend Signature Windows.

After months of going back and forth trying to verify details regarding sound reduction, and adding a header to make the doors we wanted feasible, we place an order for doors that we thought would allow us to have a functional closed office space/guest room. It took about 3-4 months to produce and install, which was just a bit later than promised but not unexpected. The friendly installers came in early December and installed the doors in one day. They look fantastic in the space, just as promised. However, installers left the baseboard cut up and raw, and didn't leave the pieces so we could fix it ourselves and the doors would not properly close. The door frames bowed considerably and the base wheels were also improperly installed in the doors. I notified customer service immediately of the issues. It took two or three emails to get any response and they kept putting off scheduling repairs. When I posted a negative review (which seems to have been deleted), they promptly scheduled a repair. The repair addressed the gap in the middle, but not the wheel, baseboard or bowing issue. We were tired of dealing with getting the issue resolved so we decided to let it go and do our best to work with it. Unfortunately, that was not the end. Now, two months after the 'repair', the doors actually open on their own 3-4" immediately after they are closed. So they no longer function as doors. I'd be happy to change my review if the product we paid for is repaired or replaced so it will function like a sliding door should. We may actually have to move houses or pay someone to remove and install an entirely different product since we were relying on doors that fully close for our current house to function for us as our family grows.
