    Replaced windshield from ValueGlass Bremerton

    I called around to several shops near my home in Bremerton. I received quotes all over the price range, so I had a firm idea how the process worked as well as a price point I could anticipate. I called Value Glass and spoke to Charlie. He took the time right then and quoted me a rate to replace my 2010 Honda Accord windshield. His rate was not the least expensive, but for his kindness and professionalism, I had no problem paying the few dollars more! He scheduled my car for the following day (3/1/24) and within the 90 minute promise to deliver, the car was done! Terrific!! The glass is perfect!!! Thanks, Charlie! I'll be coming back for sure when I need a new windshield or simple glass repair!

I had been a long time customer with Safelite Glass, the roads keep them in business. This location are nice workers, but the store is very busy, so it can be a bit of the wait. I ran into frustration because corporate Safelite strongly try to direct you to safelite brand windshield instead the original equipment manufacturer. after waiting a week, Safelite cancelled an appointment last minute claiming the OEM glass was out of stock, but Safelite glass was available. i hadn't thought about it before, but they had used the same excuse 6 months before. I complained to my insurance, and they booked me into a mom & pop shop in bremerton who ordered the glass from the dealer and did a great job in a couple of days for half the cost. Also, safelite damaged my rfid stickers and cost me to replace. the competitor no problem.

Asked for a supervisor and they were out-of-office on maternity leave was told. They asked to reschedule for a third time and I'm taking my business elsewhere. Service tech didn't seem to care. Frustrating to say the least. Guess I'll drive around with a broken window until I find someone and time to get it fixed.

    This review is based on two different car repairs I had done in the past few months. Both cars came…read moreback looking great from their repair, but there were aspects of Fix Auto's customer service that need major improvement. My first car repair went well, until about a week later when we realized that the front license plate was missing. Apparently someone at Fix Auto threw it away instead of putting it back on the car. Tony, the manager, promised to reimburse me for the cost of replacing the license plate. That's all well and good, but it was still an avoidable inconvenience to take the car to the DOL, pay the $75 for new plates (since WA does not replace a single plate), take the receipt back to Fix Auto, and wait 2 weeks to be reimbursed by the company. My second car repair went downhill from there. When I received the estimate, I asked the estimator how long the repair would take. She told me it would be about 4 days, so I carefully planned my schedule to find a week when I could be without my car for that long. When I brought the car in on Monday afternoon (for work to start on Tuesday), I double-checked that the car would be done on Friday. The woman checking me in told me it would take a full week, which meant I wouldn't get my car back until the following Tuesday. I was flustered because all my careful planning was useless, so I told her I would have to return home, rearrange my calendar again to find a full week I could be without my car, and make a new appointment with Fix Auto. I was emotional and shaking, and I wasn't as polite as I would normally be ... but I didn't overstep any boundaries. Tony came out from the back and asked me if they were failing to satisfy me. I said something along the lines of "Yes, sort of, but it's OK because I will bring my car back when I can figure out my schedule." At that point Tony said, "That's if we ALLOW you to come back here." I was shocked at his behavior; instead of de-escalating the situation he deliberately inflamed it. If one of my employees had reacted in that way to an emotional customer, I would have pulled them aside for some individual coaching on how to best approach this type of situation. I ended up leaving my car there although Tony further stated that no one at Fix Auto would ever provide a completion date to their work ahead of time. I've taken cars to various auto repair shops over the years, and never have I visited a place that DIDN'T provide an idea of when the repair would be done. I was worried about some sort of retaliation, so I called the next day to apologize for my emotional behavior, although I fully believe that Tony was equally at fault for our verbal exchange. He never apologized, but instead said to just forget about it. The end result was that my car repair was finished by noon on Wednesday, only a day and a half after I dropped it off. What was the point of all Tony's posturing and getting me upset about nothing? It left a bad taste in my mouth about this business. Perhaps they have so much business that they don't need to care about their customers; at least, it sure seems that way. Interestingly, I called the number Victoria provided in her reply and they said there was no one there by that name.

The customer service was top-notch, with staff members who were not only knowledgeable but also genuinely friendly and eager to assist. The cleanliness of the shop was remarkable, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. What truly stood out to me was their commitment to honesty and transparency. Unlike many other shops, they don't try to up-sell or up-charge you for unnecessary items or services. This level of integrity is truly commendable and sets them apart from the rest. Overall, my experience at Fix Auto Silverdale was nothing short of fantastic.     I live in Seattle so it was a drive to get to Port Orchard. My Tesla Model Y had some door and…read morequarter panel damage. There are a limited number of Tesla certified body shops in the area and many have very long waits for service. The one shop in Seattle that could get me in could not agree with my insurance on the cost. My insurance suggested Fix Auto as "a Tesla-certified shop we have been able to agree with in the past". Everything about the experience was smooth. I spoke by phone and they sent me a link to upload damage photos, and they made their repair estimate from that. Once they had the car there were additional costs discovered but they were able to get them accepted by my insurance with no cost to me. I was able to drop the car off for repair after hours (since they're so far away!) using a gate code they emailed to me. They have an automated text system that sends updates at each stage of the repair. ("Your repair is on time and moving to the paint shop!") They got the job done sooner than originally anticipated. I literally cannot tell that anything ever happened to the car. It's beautiful. As a bonus, they work with the local Enterprise Rent-A-Car so I was able to just leave my rental at the repair shop and they checked it in for Enterprise. When I had questions through the repair process, they were easy to reach by phone and helpful. As for cost, it was all covered by insurance, but the numbers were big. Fix's initial estimate was about 30% less than the Seattle shop, but after the additional costs were added the two bids ended up almost identical. (Of course, the Seattle shop probably also would have come up with additional costs.) My advice overall: Don't damage your car. If you DO damage it, go to Fix in Port Orchard. They were outstanding.

They play a nice game of happy friendly face until something goes awry, then the fangs come out and they are nothing but cut-throat crooks. Don't believe their bogus responses either - it's a flat-out lie!
