BLUF: Fast, efficient, reasonably priced (1/3 the cost of that national chain), and they went above and beyond. I went to Valueglass because the big national chain said they couldn't get the OEM glass because it was out of stock nation wide & that i should go with their brand because it was cheaper. After going through my insurance, valueglass called me within hours and said they could get the (OEM) glass from the dealer in 3 days (the chain waited a week before canceling my appt). i made my appointment , showed up 20 minutes early and they got me inn right away. I had a RFID tag that they were able transfer (unlike the other guys - are you seeing a theme here??). When i signed the bill, it was 1/3 the price from that national chain. Truth be told, this is my second windshield this summer. the other was replaced by that national chain in june. in comparing the two experiences . ValueGlass gets 10 stars. Got a rock chip driving down to Tacoma for an urgent doctor visit in the rain. The next day I decided to call around to see if I could find someone who could fix it for me. These folks were able to get me in the same day I called, last appointment of the day, right after work. It was very conveniently located and they were expeditious. They repaired the chip in a timely manner and the price was more than fair, since they saved me having to file any kind of insurance claim or waiting until it got worse and then having to replace the windscreen. So I got a crack in my windshield after a rock hit the part behind my mirror and I didn't see it, I found out only after the crack formed about 18" long. I'm broke as a joke so I got quotes from EVERYONE in the area, since ya know, comprehensive doubles my monthly insurance. A catchy jingle named brand said "$800!" I thought "barf that's awful but..." I booked the appointment, and then I get a message "your car requires a sensor recalibration as well, so it's actually $1300 before tax!" So you I realized I need to shop around. I got a quote from tons of places, $1149, a $985, and even a $898 just to name a few for the price range, and all before tax. And then Kimmie replies with my quote "for us it'll be $808, and that's because of the sensors on your car that have to be calibrated" I thought to myself "cool well at least it's back to what is was before and not almost double!" So I booked it, Kimmie was super fast and helpful with getting me on the books and the replacement windshield ordered super quick! I go to drop off my car since it'll be a couple of hours. I get there and it's a fast and easy check in, but my ride was late so I explored the lobby and it super nice! They have a little arcade style game, comfy couch and a cool rock chip band she made (if you wanna know, you gotta go), and a full charging station in case you forgot to charge your phone beforehand. So definitely a comfy area to wait! They finished up my car ahead of time and it was perfect and couldn't even tell it was a replacement, he even moved my good to go and oil change sticker over!! But then I go to pay, and I said "so $808 right?" And she said "yes!" And I see $808 pop up on what is due, so I pay and look at the receipt and they quoted me after tax!! Which was such a wonderful surprise since everyone else was pre tax, so it was really $750 instead, plus they have free chip repairs for life of any window they do, which is perfect if you're not a comprehensive covered person like me. My ride needed a chip fixed as well, and he did it on the spot in just a couple minutes and it looked perfect. I love this place, it's a VETERAN OWNED LOCAL BUSINESS and recommend it whole heartedly to anyone and everyone and it will be my go to from now on!! I called around to several shops near my home in Bremerton. I received quotes all over the price range, so I had a firm idea how the process worked as well as a price point I could anticipate. I called Value Glass and spoke to Charlie. He took the time right then and quoted me a rate to replace my 2010 Honda Accord windshield. His rate was not the least expensive, but for his kindness and professionalism, I had no problem paying the few dollars more! Great experience. I emailed the shop and was told I could come in any time to get a chipped windshield repaired. Brought my vehicle in the next day and was told he'd have it done in a half hour. Twenty-eight minutes later I was driving away with the work completed (and completed well). They have seating inside with a TV and restroom for the short wait. The guy that was there was very polite, professional and friendly. He even wiped off my dusty dash and sprayed some air freshener inside. The price was 1/4 what I was quoted by the chain place that you see on TV every ten minutes. Any auto glass work I need in the future will lead me to call these guys first. read more

Hmmmm... I wanted to like this place since it's a local small business. Honestly I'm not sure I would come here again. I needed a windshield replaced so sent the online estimate request and got a speedy response which was nice. However, I realized I hadn't provided my insurance info so I called. Told the woman who answered why I was calling, and wanted to find out how their service worked with insurance. Her response, "there's only one." What? I don't know what that means. "There's only one for that car." Again ??? I said I don't know what you're talking about, I'm talking about insurance coverage. "Oh" So, insurance got the info needed to them and I got a call to make an appointment, but then I had to call back and request to change the time, no problem. I show up for my appointment, the gentleman there is rifling through papers, gets behind the counter looking at me quizzically saying there's no work orders, but "how can I help you?" I told him I was there for my appointment to have my windshield replaced. Another quizzical look, he walks back over to the papers and pulls some out and says "oh, she wrote it over your name but didn't put it in the system." They took the car in, it was roughly an hour and a half which is what I had been told, and my car was "ready". They advertise they cover $50 of your deductible and if you don't have a deductible they'll give you $50.00 cash. So I ask about that when it was time to pay. "Well since you saw it, you're all set. I'm not gonna tell you about it but since you saw it..." Ok... I get in my car, sitting for a moment as I had gotten a text, and there's a tap on my window. The woman who had just done all of above starts talking about a lip on my windshield and she forgot to tape it. What??? "I just didn't want you to drive off, doesn't need to come back in the shop, I'll be right back." Indeed back she comes with a roll of blue tape that looks like painter's tape, rolls out two big pieces on either side of my windshield. "Well Charles said it's not that big of a deal but he'd feel better if it was taped." When I get home my phone rings, it's Value Glass. "Hello, could you give me your license plate number or VIN for our records, I forgot to get it when you were here." ‍ So now I'm left wondering... what else did you forget, is my windshield even gonna stay in my car?! I guess they do all types of glass repair/replacement but I've noticed I don't often see cars there. Maybe there's a reason for that. Appreciate your acknowledgement. However, for those of us who have no real knowledge of car repairs, getting "service" like this is very unsettling particularly when it comes to your automobile. As for the $50, I did not find a coupon on your website, and nowhere does it say you have to mention it to get that discount/cash. read more

Getting chipped/cracked mirrors and/or windows is awful - I'm sure everyone can agree. If you find yourself in this situation though, I highly recommend you do yourself a favor and make an appointment to take your vehicle to ValueGLASS. From the moment I started talking to Charles VIA Yelp (to get a quote) to actually entering the establishment and speaking with their awesome/bubbly receptionist, I felt safe, comfortable, and and at ease knowing my vehicle was in good hands and that I wouldn't be paying an absorbent price to replace my windshield. There were no hidden fees/costs, their waiting room was clean (no other customers in the lobby during my appointment), everyone was wearing a mask, and the whole process took less than an hour. I spent roughly a week researching (and was quoted, at a minimum, $100 over what ValueGLASS was offering (across the board)). I was stressed because I had a road trip coming up, but I'm so glad I waited! They were able to get me in within the same week and now I can rest easy knowing my vehicle is ready to hit the long road ahead. Definitely would recommend their establishment to all family/friends/community members! I hope I don't have to deal with any more glass issues, but if I do, I know who I'm calling first. Charles was very welcoming. Their staff was kind and helpful even on a Sunday. Geico Insurance rated them preferred window repair. It took about 20 minutes to complete. They served me after hours- what corporate company does that? These guys closed at 5, but was accommodating after 5. My windshield went from ugly noticeable crack, to what looks like a bug splatter, but prettier. It was amazing. I'll be going back there again. Cost about half what other places quoted me, so I drove out of my way from Bainbridge to come here and it was great! It can't get anymore convenient than for them to install it while I am at work. Didn't take much of my personal time at all. One of my vehicles had a quarter size spiderweb crack. After the repair, the only thing visible was a small fine line. All the other chips were repaired with no visible marks left afterwards.
