They were so fast with getting the tint on my car! So far, the tint works. Let's see how it holds up and if the bubbles go away. I'm not thrilled with the price but wanted/needed it done. (I guess too with the 3 stars I am comparing the price to my coupe I had tinted at another shop) I intended to get the sunset strip but was quickly reminded about the option for the whole windshield (lightest tint possible). I only did that cause I know there is a huge amount of light issues when I drive at night. But I'm not happy. The cost of the windshield was $400! Fifty dollars less than the whole car tint! . They had a comfortable couch to chill on while the tint was being done, as well as getting it done in less than 2 hours. That timing was awesome! Would I get another car done here again? Just got a tint today for my brand new car, and it turned out to be a not very pleasant experience... I made an appointment at 1 pm, but waited extra 3 hours to get it started. The front lady was very nice, and she gave me a discount just for the delay. I had no problem waiting extra time, because they are getting busy and I totally get it. When my tint was finished, they told me that they dropped a tool inside my door panel and they had to find it, which is fine. I was a little frustrated because it is a brand new car, and it was painful to watch your new car getting disassembled in front of you. After they disassembled my right side door they realized that they did it the wrong side... and they had to disassembled my left door again. That's when I'm really getting frustrated... I understand mistakes could happen, and it's been a long day for them too but... It was very painful for me to watch they use pry tools to crack my brand new door panel to parts, twice... I guess it was just one bad luck service for me. However, I would still recommend people to come here to get tint because they did a really good job. Without this last stun, I would give them 5 stars regardless of the extra 3 hour waiting. read more

When I called to set up my appointment, they were able to get me in first thing Monday morning. I arrived right when they opened and was assured they'd get to my car as soon as possible. While I waited, I observed what was going on. Another customer had their paint protection film and had his car hit by a large rock. The film was pretty messed up, but the rep assured him the paint underneath was fine. Later, I saw the film had been redone and looked perfect. Then a customer came in with an RV and wanted film you could not see through. The rep recommended their 5% film for that, although he informed the customer that certain lighting conditions could allow a person to see in. The customer then asked about metallic film. The rep said they had it, but that it had the same lighting characteristics, so it would make no difference. This is true, as I have metallic tint on my house. I appreciated that they weren't just willing to lie to a customer to get a sale. Not surprisingly, my car came out pretty flawless, considering it is almost 30 years old with original windows. In fact, my builder, who tints windows himself, said it's the best tint job he's ever seen on a car that age. Over the years, I've had three cars tinted, two with paint protection film, and fog light tint. Never a hiccup. Hats off to California Tint and their staff! read more

I moved to WA about 3 weeks ago and bought a 2021 Cadillac CT4 that needed its windows tinted. I have a busy schedule being in the military and didn't have a valid time frame to schedule an appointment with California Tint. Andrea, at the front desk, exceeded my expectations. She suggested I bring in my vehicle the morning after I called, to do a walk in, since they were booked with appointments. She said my car most likely wouldn't be done until the end of the day since they were squeezing me in. The next morning I went in, Andrea was even more helpful in person. Initial reviews definitely spelled out a trouble past but with their recent reviews and expansion would say otherwise. They have shown quality customer service and have listened to multiple feedback from their community. I've used California Tint twice now and each encounter remains consistent with the stupendous amount of professionalism and customer service as everyone should receive. I'm a novice when it comes to tinting. I made a short phone call explaining what I want and need without being specific on the level of darkness I want on my first car. After a discussion, recommendation and finally scheduling, I was able to meet them in a reasonable amount of time with an exact estimated time of completion. First impression during my first visit, the store needed a lot of work. The lobby and bathroom needed a lot upkeep with the occasional smell of weed next door but no worries! It was already been mentioned on previous reviews and their lobby is so much better now. On my first appointment, I needed 5 windows tinted. I wanted it to be legal but enough to block out the sun/UV Rays without compromising visibility. I was given a couple of shades above the bare legal limit and it was perfect. It was definitely a professional job with instructions on what to expect. There were tiny bubbling initially but disappeared after two weeks (exactly what they said). The second time I had to use their service was for my front windows. I asked them to match the factory rear tint and they were able to deliver. You could barely notice the difference and it definitely helped in reducing glare at night and UV during the day. I highly recommend their service and they're not one to upsell you to any of their other products. Pretty honest, upfront and did you know that their new line of tint offers warranty? Came in with my civic Hatchback and they knew how to take apart my wing to properly install the tints. Just got my Tesla installed XPEL XR plus for all 4 windows. Friendly customer service. I'm very happy with the result and timeliness. My only suggestion is that the receipt should specify what film it was used so that there will be no problem with warranty issue. I will get my back window next time but it will be just XR because of the size issue. Please put more detail to receipt so customer know what are they getting.
