Unfortunately 0 is NOT an option. This is clearly someone who has turned a hobby, into a poorly run business. The phone, that being a single # is NEVER answered, mailbox full, calls are not returned in a timely manner if at all. I have to wonder about Jahns actual mechanical history. Being an enthusiast about a particular vehicle, does not make a great mechanic. I have called 10x documented in my phone with 0 response. It takes a lot to piss me off, but his lackadaisical attitude, shoddy work. Will both show in final product. read more

Let me start off by saying that I have not used Jahn for repairs yet - but he is one very cool individual. I was broke down in my 2004 Range Rover on westbound i90 - oveheated - waiting for AAA to show up. Jahn was driving eastbound - saw me on on the other side of the freeway - made a u turn at the next exit to drive by and see if he could help. If I hadn't been towing it to Biggs in Bellevue at that point (they had the rover 3 weeks ago for the low coolant light and said there wasn't an issue) to fix their previous work - I'd have used him. Great kudos to a guy who takes time out of his day to stop and help a stranger on the opposite side of the highway! read more

Jahn and Emily are awesome. Jahn is an amazing mechanic and truly knows his stuff. He's undone some seriously bad work on my Range Rover Classic that was done by another shop (wish I had heard about Rovin Rovers a few years ago!) and his other repairs have been top-notch as well. I actually trust my Rover now! Emily is also great - she provides clear and accurate price estimates and has always gotten me on the schedule quickly. I took my car for some work and when I got.it back the plastic cover to the battery was missing. When I asked where it was the lady said it wasn't there when I dropped it off. I think I know my own car to know when something is missing or wrong. I ended up buying new cover and found someone else that wasn't out in the boonies and more reliable. read more

Jahn is my go-to guy for repairs on my 2004 Discovery. His pricing is fair and his knowledge and diagnostic abilities are really excellent. Not only is Jahn a good repair guy, he also really listens to what you want to do with your Rover and offers good solid advice on what tasks/modifications should be undertaken to make it work for the intended purpose. My wife and infant son are setting off on a 7000 mile roadtrip this July and Jahn is the guy that is helping us expedition prep the vehicle. I really couldn't be happier with the quality of his work or his advice. The work that he's done for me so far in my 3 months of ownership varies from electrical fault diagostics and resolution, rough idle problems and front drive shaft replacement. In the next few months we'll be upgrading the cooling system, brakes, roll cage, replacing the engine, air lockers and adding the expedition rack and roof top tent. Oh and he's also fixing the lift that the previous owner put on my truck. Trust is really important when working with a mechanic, especially on a notoriously unreliable semi luxury SUV with many complex and now old systems and points of failure. I met Jahn by driving by him while he was working on a Range Rover & noticed the signs on his car. We had been to MANY different local Range rover companies to have work done on our 1998 Range Rover 4.6 HSE. We either paid an arm & a leg or wasn't happy with the work. We decided to call Rovin Rovers & they not only made it out right away but had our Range Rover diagnosed & running in less than 2 days!! They will go out of their way to make sure that you get the best price on parts & to do the best job possible. There's one thing every Land Rover owner knows,.."You'd better have a good mechanic!" Jahn is my mechanic; he's very knowledgeable about Land Rovers and can fix them all. I've used Jahn for repairs on my 1999 Range Rover 4.0 SE/P38; he's done tune-ups, a complete brake job, air bag/suspension work, and even repaired a door latch. Jahn just finished with a full inspection of my 2008 Supercharged Range Rover. I bought it without getting an inspection and was sweating over some warning lights coming on. It was so nice to have him meet me at work and complete the inspection while I was still on the clock! He had some minor suggestions and was super helpful in showing me some tips and tricks on my car. He estimated 2 hours but finished under an hour. He is now my very own personal RR guy!!! Emily is easy to talk to (or e-mail) about what is needed and gets you scheduled and Jahn comes to your rescue! I will never go back to the money hungry dealership again. Rovin Rovers comes to you, involves you in the diagnostics (if you are interested), repairs it quickly and very reasonably priced! They both have told me, if they know I can get a better price for something, they will point me in that direction. I had him look at a leaking sun roof and he told me a good place to have it done. This is the perfect set up for people like us that want to be involved in the care of their LR, want to order the parts themselves and have someone qualified install them. He has fixed my A/C(recharged and trouble shot as to why it wasn't blowing in the back seat any more) and the suspension system (was leaking air--got it fixed up quick, if you have an air leak, your compressor will have to run too much and can burn it self out). My brake fluid was dangerously low, he found the leak, tightened up the caliper line, and test drove it around the block several times to make sure it was not leaking anymore. He will not sell you a new widget when you just need a tweak and tightening. I need brakes soon, but he said we are fine to go the summer, just to call when we are ready in the fall. How cool to not be pushed and up sold when your brakes have some life left. We fully trust him to keep us on the road. I see no reason to get a new LandRover, he keeps my paid for 2005 LR3 with 155,000 miles running just fine. read more
