I had a problem with the installation and called to get replacement and possibly look at some more. She indicated to me that her first appointment to come into the showroom was a month out. When attempted to indicate that I already had product that I just needed to order more, she said "we're not a good fit for you" and hung up on me. I run 3 businesses... dealing with difficult clients and customer service. Behavior like this is never acceptable. Motor Mouth Lacy, in a condescending, rude, and aggressive tone hung up on me before I could explain that I was a customer looking for prior product. I actually called back to get Lacy's name, I said to her that I didn't appreciate her condescending tone, lack of professionalism and she hung up on me again. At no time did I raise my voice in either conversation, use profanity's or calls names. Frankly, she hung up on me less than 30 seconds after I got on to the phone. I imagine Lacy is either part owner or family member. I can't actually imagine anyone with her lack of skills and behavior is actually employed. Or maybe the employers don't know about her behavior.. that frequently happens.

I understand the company disagrees with my review, but I was disappointed by the tone of their response and the implied pressure to remove it. Being told they would publicly respond and report the review to Yelp and Google if I didn't remove it felt unnecessarily aggressive and intimidating. Also in response to their comments below Thank you for confirming the exact root of the problem: you looked at a three-pane window, saw that only the middle section was currently foggy, and assumed I only wanted that single section replaced. As a professional window company, it was your responsibility to clearly state: "We see only the middle pane is failing, so this quote is strictly for one pane of glass, not the entire window unit you asked for." You didn't do that. You just wrote "1 glass replacement" on a quote for a "window replacement" request and expected a regular homeowner to know the technical difference. The fact remains: I asked for a window replacement. I provided a photo of the entire window. Other companies looked at the exact same information and managed to quote the entire three-pane unit for a price comparable to what you charged me for just the middle section. You can keep calling a customer's genuine financial frustration "deceptive" to protect your online rating, but your own responses show a complete lack of accountability. You made an assumption, failed to communicate it clearly upfront, and I had to pay the premium for it. Prospective clients can read this back-and-forth and decide for themselves if they want to risk dealing with a company that hides behind ambiguous quote terminology instead of practicing transparent communication. I am done repeating myself. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I recently had a foggy/failing window repaired that consisted of 3 separate sections. Unfortunately, due to some miscommunication during the quoting process, only the middle section was replaced. That was really frustrating because it made the overall cost much higher compared to other companies I had received quotes from. To their credit, they did offer to replace the remaining sections at a discount after I brought up the issue. However, even with the discount, the final price still ends up being significantly more expensive than competitors. Had everything been communicated more clearly upfront, I likely would have chosen a different company. The biggest issue for me was the lack of clarity during the quoting process. It felt misleading to realize afterward that the quote only covered one section instead of the full window I thought we had discussed. That said, I do want to give credit to the installation crew because they were excellent. They were respectful, worked quickly, kept everything clean, and did quality work. My frustration is mainly with the communication and quoting side of the experience, not the installers themselves.

Problems with fire burning after closing stove door and almost goes completely out when closing the "bypass handle" after reaching temperature indicated on the catalyst thermometer as instructed. Called to complain. Said they'd send installers out to take a look. Since the woodstove is the only source of heat in our home, we had to keep using it but it acted more like a pellet stove than a woodstove. 2 weeks later, installers come out and add a 10" extension chimney. They attempted to start the fire and it did the same thing for them. Installers said they had a 4 inch air intake that might help but they wouldn't advise it as it may make the house too hot. Ours has a 3 inch. They left saying they were going to contact the manufacturer and get back to us. Didn't happen. Baffle board broke and couldn't use stove at all. They said the manufacture was notoriously slow in responding to orders and we didn't get the baffle board until summer. Still complained about the stove not burning and they said they would get back to us. Started using the stove again when the weather started to turn cold and complained again and was told they've been having issues with that particular model and went on to say why. I also told them what the installers said about a 4 inch intake and the person said they disagreed with that assessment. Was told that she would talk with their installers and get back to us. Didn't happen. I called back a week and a half later and spoke to a different person and again gave the same complaint. She also said they were having issues with that particular model. She also said she didn't agree with the installers assessment regarding the size of the air intake. She said she would email the area rep, out of Utah and that he may come and take a look at it. She also advised they may have to replace it with a different stove. She then said she'd get back to me. Didn't happen. I called them over a week later and spoke to the same person. She didn't remember our conversation until I reminded them that they were to have sent an email to the area rep. She then said she would talk to one of the installers who was in the store and also call the area rep instead of an email, then get back to me. Didn't happen. Tried calling back but no answer. Recording said to leave a message, press 1. pressed 1 and was told that wasn't one of the options. Tried calling back the next day and recording said they would be out of the office until January.
