The food was really good the customer service was top tier I would only give it a four star because it took forever for the food to come and then it was like like warm which I didn't like . But I would definitely highly recommend 10/10 everything was good

I went with a friend to try this spot while in town. Parking was free and in close proximity. It was close to closing so there were just a few people in the restaurant. I ordered Kalebone sandwich and roasted potatoes. First of all, those potatoes were fire. They were really good. The sandwich was extremely good and filling. I didn't eat the entire sandwich but finished it later. It was a good experience. I could try other menu items again when in town.

I was very interested in trying Soul Vegetarian out to find a healthier non-meat flavor to soul food. I ordered my food online for pickup so it would be ready once I arrived to take home with me. I order a lunch special I believe which included bbq cauliflower, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, cornbread and a salad. When I took the first bite, I was impressed. But the more I ate it, the more overwhelming the food was and I couldn't finish it. Overall the sweet potatoes and cornbread was delicious. But I could have did without the bbq cauliflower and Mac and cheese. One day I hope to go back and try something else on the menu but this just wasn't it.

The food and the service was amazing. The chef is an absolute delight. My favorite is definitely the Jerusalem rice.

Came by this place before and thought it sounded good (vegetarian food is hard to find!) so I dropped by today with some friends. I got the dinner combo with BBQ cauliflower + mac and cheese and sweet potatoes as my two sides. It also comes with a small salad and cornbread. My friend hyped up their mac and cheese so much and it was honestly really good - it was very nice and creamy. The BBQ cauliflower was fried and covered with BBQ sauce. It was pretty soft and easy to chew and the BBQ sauce was really nice. The salad was fine and came with some dressing I wasn't sure what it was. The sweet potatoes were also yummy and sweet. The cornbread came as a big block and was honestly a bit dry. I think this is family owned so there's not a lot of staff. It took about 40 minutes to get our food (Wednesday @ 6pm) so just make sure you allot enough time so you aren't in a rush. Only one person is taking orders and bringing the food out to you. It's also only take-out - no indoor dining, but there are some tables outside. There's not really a parking lot so count on street parking. Overall - the dinner combo was a pretty big meal for a decent price ($17). The food was all really yummy and bonus points for being all plant-based! Make sure you set aside a good amount of time since it takes a while for the food to come out because they're made fresh but definitely worth the wait. You can also get the entrees a la carte for around $5 each which seems like a sweet deal. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice vegetarian/vegan place in Midtown!

They're only doing takeout during this time. My dad and sister always go and I finally got a chance to try em out. We ordered 3 country baked steaks with collard greens and mac and cheese. It also comes with cornbread and a small side salad with what they call prince sauce. Called our order in and it was ready in about 20 minutes. Because they're doing takeout only they had the seating area blocked off. Got home and dug in. The country baked steak (vegan) was slightly salty for me but I still enjoyed the flavors. The collard greens were really good, but that mac and cheese was bomb! I was thoroughly impressed by it. The cornbread was a large portion size. My dad swears by the prince sauce. Nothing was wrong with it but it didn't have that wow factor I was expecting. I enjoyed everything and will definitely be back again.

The food and service is excellent. Everything was perfectly seasoned. The portions are huge. Each plate is enough for 2 servings. There is a bit of a wait so I'd suggest pre-ordering and doing pickup if you're in a hurry.

Utter perfection! The kalebone is some of the best fake meat I've ever had. Then to go and pair it with their delicious bbq sauce, *chef's kiss*. The sweet potatoes are candied and juicy. The mac and cheese is better than any homemade baked pasta. Vegetarian or not this is the place to get your soul food

BBQ tofu, "ribs," and I believe "chicken" tofu with gravy.

The rest of my group had ordered from another restaurant, so I picked my order up from the counter space. The menu is a good length, sandwiches, salads, sides, sodas, and a couple alcoholic drink options. I had the smashed potatoes, the fish sandwich, and their raspberry/lime soda. Everything was fantastic, very flavorful, ingredients balanced. My niece had not wanted to order as she was unsure about whether she'd like the flavors, and she does not do spicy. She loved everything. The potatoes have a light kick of spice, I would put them in the flavorful category over spicy, Could not be happier with my food hall choice.

How could I complain? No notes. SERVICE: Food came out pretty fast after we ordered, even though it was pretty busy in there. The person who brought out our food was also super friendly and struck up a conversation with us. TLDR// Easily one of the best meals I had in Atlanta. Sad that I can no longer eat here when I leave. A true Atlanta gem! They got it all right…read more Where do I begin ? First, they have a free parking lot, so that's always a win in a city where that barely exists. Please be aware that's it's limited but enough. We came on a Sunday around 7pm. There were a few people there so we instantly got seated and had our choice of where. They do have TVs and the March Madness game was on with a captive audience. We ordered the half chicken with cilantro cream sauce, sweet lime bbq sauce, black beans, birria quesadilla and yuca fries. It was all AMAZING. And our food came out quickly after we ordered, as if they read our mind and knew we were on the way. The chicken was so juicy with flavor and easily fell off the bone. It pairs well with all of the sauces. The yuca fries were a perfect combination of crunch on the outside and soft on the inside covered with chunks of garlic. The yuca fries and cilantro cream are a match made in heaven. The birria quesadilla had juicy beef on the inside but a firm quesadilla to hold it all together, and the consumé dipping sauce was a complimentary addition. The quesadilla was good without it and great with it. The black beans were pretty standard but cooked well with a nice flavor. It was all stellar. I found no fault with anything we ate. Our waiter was attentive and very pleasant. This was a great place to have a great time. Despite the food being so great, it's a casually dining experience. I went on a holiday, which was super busy, but even so, service was prompt and attentive. I ordered a pasaflora to drink, which had a beautiful flower in it, queso blanco with chips, al pastor mushroom tacos, chochoyotes, and flan for dessert. Every single dish was inspired, layered with flavor, creative, and truly unique. The presentation was also lovely and each bite felt thoughtful and well-executed. I would order everything a million times over! One thing that especially stood out was the flan's texture, which was silky, delicate, and perfectly balanced. I was also pleasantly surprised to see fried green tomatoes on the menu. It felt like such a special nod to the restaurant's Southern location, blending regional influence in a really cool way. The owner was super nice, which made the experience even better. The decor is gorgeous and so inviting, with intimate, cozy lighting. The whole space feels clean, artistic, and thoughtfully designed. This is an amazing date-night spot that I truly hope sticks around for a long, loooong time. Everything about the atmosphere and experience makes it perfect for a special evening out. I'm already planning to go back and explore more of the menu, but based on my first visit alone, I might even dare to say this is the best vegan restaurant in Atlanta. The jury's still out, but I'm more than happy to keep doing the research to confirm!! lol Last thing I'll say is that I was so grateful not to have to wade through a bunch of non-vegan menu options to figure I it what I could actually order. I also don't have to wonder if my food was being cooked next to a slab of dead animal, which is not the case most places I go. So, thank you for being ALL vegan. The food is so good that there is no chance a non-vegan will feel they've missed out on meat anyway. Logistical stuff: I saw a little bit of street parking, but not a ton. Parking in the deck is definitely the easiest option. You could theoretically bike/skate the Beltline and just walk a couple of blocks to get there. The space is on the smaller side, so I'd recommend making a reservation to be safe if you're visiting on a Friday/Saturday night.

There was indoor and outdoor seating and we chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful night. We had amazing service, great food, in a really cute neighborhood. We were especially impressed with the staff, and we had a member come out more than once to check with one of the people dining with us who had food allergies to ensure that how they were offering the food would be safe for her. It was also impressive that this restaurant was so busy on a Monday night. There were three of us dining, and we didn't even order any of the meats, and there was plenty of food for us. From the Mazzes, we had the Omani Shrimp, which had a great dipping sauce and the Beet Carpaccio. (they were very accommodating and put the whipped feta on the side). For the Spreads, we did the hummus with mushroom, shisito and egg, which was amazing and the labneh with pickled fennel on the top. It's served with taftoun bread which I would describe as a mix of a cracker and pita with sesame on top. We also enjoyed a raw vegetable dish with radish and the most delicious apple slices. Their heirloom tomato salad was beautifully presented and plentiful. They had a flight of condiments and we were able to sample zhoug, spicy tahina and torshi, which was a mixture of pickled vegetables. We ended with a pistachio lava cake with the most delicious cardamon gelato. Overall, we had an amazing meal in their beautiful outdoor space, and we thought the food was really reasonably priced.
