This recent visit I had a 5 piece thai sweet chili wing combo. Combo came with a large serving of fries. Wings were medium spicy and had a delicious taste to them. Combo was $18.75 and the portion was very generous. Order was placed online and was ready at the estimated time provided in the app. Definitely recommend selecting the ranch for your dipping sauce. It's made in house and is the perfect consistency and has a delicious dill flavor. Also have some wet wipes with you because the wings are very sticky. i'd def return to try something else here. i love that i was able to get my wing fix since i stopped eating chicken awhile ago. i got the buffalo vegan wings with fries and a side salad. the seitan texture was a bit different and new for me so id probably opt for the oyster mushroom option next time. definitely enjoyed the side salad and the fries were seasoned well. i also tried both their ranch and blue cheese. wasn't a fan of the blue cheese but the ranch was good. i ordered online and picked up. service was easeful and she made sure my order was correct. it's more of a takeout spot inside but i love that they had a nice seating area and plants hanging around the space to give it more life. read more

I was excited to try Vegan Wangs with hopes of a good experience, yet unfortunately, it fell short. The concept of the faux chicken wings and texture were good. However, the lack of portion for both the wings and ranch dressing were disappointing. Add the soggy fries that didn't enhance my experience either. I chose a side salad which had plenty of the good toppings - faux bacon and feta cheese. It looked and smelled very real, so I called (3x) and sent a Yelp message to ensure the restaurant was a dedicated Vegan eatery. My efforts of communication was disregarded...still no feedback. I spent $26 for the 5 piece wing meal: wings, fries and a salad. An extra $4 for a can of Ginger Beer. Kindly on all things retail, you can get a 4-pack for the same price. Price: $30 The flavor: The jerk was "okay"; I've had many flavorful jerk sauces, and this was just "okay"; the jerk flavor was a bit muted. The buffalo was your basic buffalo sauce. The flavors weren't exciting. The texture: The wings are seitan based. From what I read, it is wheat and oats. The texture was "okay" for seitan, but around wing number 8, my jaw started to tire from chewing. LBS(laughing but serious) that was my experience. The portion: The portion doesn't match the price. 12 wings for $30 and it comes with nothing else, no sides, drink, nothing. Exorbitant pricing. I was willing to try, today, solely on the fact that I had a discount through ubereats for my pickup order. They give you 1 ranch with the order of 12. I believe that at least 2 should be included to match the amount of wings. You get 1 ranch with the 5 piece or 10 piece, definitely need more for a 12. An extra ranch will cost you an additional .75. I have found a new way to eat wings! I drove a long way & it was worth every mile driven. I'm not vegan but I have stopped eating chicken AGAIN. I crave a 10 piece, all flats, hot w/lemon pepper from time to time & these chick'n wings scratched that itch. The lemon Buffalo sauce was just right. They were crispy on the outside just like I would order my wings. I'm not a blue cheese fan but the vegan version they served was really good. Fries were seasoned perfectly & piping hot. I also ordered a vegan doughnut that was good! This place was a whole vibe. I was greeted by the owner's brother when I walked in. He explained the menu while I listened to the smooth tunes over the loud speaker. The only think missing is a couple of bar stools at the counter. Considering my commute, I would have dined in. Vegan Review: I was back in Atlanta visiting family and needed something to eat after my drive down from NC. As I was driving on Cascade I saw Vegan Wangs which I don't remember from the time I moved away a year ago. I ordered the 10 piece wings with lemon pepper buffalo and an order of fries. The wings had a nice consistency with Seitan. The flavor of the sauce was okay but I didn't really taste the lemon pepper. These seemed like they were just dumped in buffalo sauce which I wasn't expecting. I thought they would have been more dry on the lemon pepper side than just regular messy buffalo sauce. The fries were perfectly seasoned and piping hot. The non-diary ranch was a nice flavor. The customer service was lacking as well but I would definitely give this place another try when I need a vegan wing fix. read more

Ordered dinner through Vegan wangs whole visiting Atlanta. We had the buffalo chicken sandwich meal, the pulled bbq sandwich meal and 5 wings. It was good, not the best we've ever had but it was good. The ranch dressing and the bbq were very tasty. I do believe that the taste of the actual breading/batter could improve a bit but other than that, it was all good. Would I try it again? Possibly not but I was happy we did try it! Somebody in this kitchen has blessed hands and knows how to use them. Texture, heat and seasoning were all 10/10 on everything we ordered. We had buffalo lemon pepper (random combo but it works) and BBQ wings --best vegan wings I've had and I've been vegan for 8 years. The oyster mushroom sandwich was also top tier. I arrived to pick up my order (lunch Chik'n Wangs (5) came with fries and a bottle water)($15). It's an intimate place with takeout only. The restaurant sit inside a small shopping center on the corner. The person that greeted me was pleasant and friendly. I received my food it was hot. The presentation of the food was appealing and the taste of the wangs was nice and crispy and the fries were hot. Even if you are not vegan you will love these. The food is good but I am inconvenienced every time I go here. The last four times they are out of items I wanted or specifically stopped by to get. This would not be a big deal if they had an answering machine so that I could call in advance to ensure they have the item I want to buy in stock HOWEVER they do not have a phone with a REAL person on the other end of the line that I can speak with. This shop is not centrally located to me. So customers who are excited to come all that way and then arrive just to find out they are out of WANGS (irony) or BBQ sauce...or whatever...it is very disappointing. The ranch is very good. We stayed at the Renaissance GICC (ATL) a night before an early-morning flight and needed some plant-based grub for dinner. Naturally, I always turn to my Yelp! app! :D There were several options for us, which we narrowed down to either an Ethiopian joint, or Vegan Wangs: We opted for the latter, using their Yelp! app menu link to order online for delivery. (Since this was a delivery order, I can't attest to their service or ambiance, only from the food that we ordered, and how it arrived at the hotel.) Let's start with the "Good": Vegan Wangs' wings are, hands-down, the best plant-based wings I've -- we've -- ever had! Woah!!! The texture: Perfect! The crispness: Close to perfection. (I say "close" for a reason, as I will outline below.) The order: I ordered the wings sandwich ($18) which comes with fries (and condiments). (My better-half had the wings meal ($22), which consisted of 5 wings and a side (potato salad).) We both had sodas at $3.75 a pop. The entire price of our meals (including Wangs' fee, a $14 service and delivery Door Dash fee, and tip added up to a bit over $70 -- without doubt, the heftiest price we've ever paid for "wings"! We placed the online order at 3:15p on a Sunday; the delivery time was listed as 4:45p -- 1-1/2 hours. That was totally OK by us since we normally eat at 5. Naturally, our concern was how "hot" the food would arrive. Alas, as it turned out, the Door Dash driver got lost, and, to our disappointment, the entire packaged meal was lukewarm at best. :( My wings sandwich was in an individual container, toppled-over with everything falling out of its bun (which I put back together for its photo op (3 wings; huge, thick-sliced tomato; a smattering of greens) -- I couldn't eat it all. The fries were packaged with the wings order (again, reorganized for its photo op); nevertheless, they were tasty, even close-to-cold. Everything would've been 5-stars had it all been hot and crispy! I mean, even lukewarm, these were still the best vegan wings we've ever had. I hate to be the one to bring down its 5-star rating; however, they need to figure-out a better delivery method so that their food arrives as it would if we were being served right there in their restaurant. Period! The food (as sloppy as it arrived, and with a hardened sandwich bun) was still so good. This has been the most unprofessional experience I've had with any food establishment to date. I was excited to try a new vegan restaurant and to support a black owned business but I will never attempt to use my money to buy from this place again. I've attempted to order from this establishment twice now. The first time I called at 9pm and the individual who answered the phone stated they were closed though the hours listed online stated they closed at 10pm Today o called again with no answer so drove to venue. Once I arrived at the actual venue at 8:10pm, I could not even locate the restaurant and went into the food hall where I received direction to the unmarked door that states "do not enter." We asked a security guard for directions and she directed us to knock on the door. I knocked loudly twice with no answer. Looking through the window we saw individuals in the kitchen who were ignoring us. Once we walked back to the car, we noticed an employee walking out of the establishment with a trash bag. When I ended up in South Atlanta at an airport hotel for the night, I used the yelp! app to look for vegan food options and ended up ordering through the app. I ordered the wing plate which had 5 wings and potato salad for $22. Pretty steep for wings, but crossed my fingers they were worth it. When the food arrived by doordash late, the food was room temp, not starting off the best I thought. But once I tasted the wings, all was forgiven (almost). The wings are absolutely the best. Tender, crunchy on the out side, and remarkably, very filling. The first issue I encountered is when I played the order online you had to get the order "confirmed " by email and this is after paying for it. It took like 5 minutes for that order to be confirmed. This is not their fault but the app being used to place the order for pickup. Second issue is it is very difficult to find where this place it. It is more of a food locker/shared kitchen experience and you can't go into the facility for pickup I wished the instructions on their site or in the receipt included the HOW TO pick up order and where to wait etc because what ended up happening is after wandering around in the rain looking at the building you know it's in getting confirmation from the other businesses that yes it is indeed in that building there isn't a pickup window they bring it to your car. There is a sign on the door saying something to the effect of authorization personnel only and we still had to knock to ask where the pickup is. Now how would any one on earth know this or how they would know whose order they are bringing out to the car is beyond me! That was stressful. Second. The Wait. I placed the order when I was 20 mins away and still had to wait 20 mins when I got there. Third. The price, $32 for 12 wings?!??! WHET?!? anyway that is not going into my rating because the price is the price so I digress. The taste. Hot wing type mouth feel and consistency 10/10! the wing flavors. The buffalo was too tart and less hot sauce like almost like a too vinegary Texas Pete. I felt like it was missing balance like toss in some savory which you can do even if it's vegan. The buffalo lemon I thought would be lemon pepper and expected that type of taste and I didn't taste that at all. More like buffalo wing sauce and lemon juice? So again that. That could be exactly what they were going for so I'm not going to knock it The sweet chili was my absolute favorite but it is probably just preference which every one has preferences. I would say I would sell my soul for a true lemon pepper wings. Like the dry rub kind so if y'all read these review? Please I beg. Overall a rough pickup experience and maybe when it's not dark or raining outside it is easier to see where to pickup, but at least have a pickup window. This vegan food has been the best most authentic vegan fast food I've had yet. The chik'n fingers were crispy and very savory, the ranch was on point. I can say the ranch is the most flavorful I've tasted. It beats any vegan ranch an actually regular ranch in the store so far. The bbq wangs were delicious with a great texture.
