I was excited to try Vegan Wangs with hopes of a good experience, yet unfortunately, it fell short. The concept of the faux chicken wings and texture were good. However, the lack of portion for both the wings and ranch dressing were disappointing. Add the soggy fries that didn't enhance my experience either. I chose a side salad which had plenty of the good toppings - faux bacon and feta cheese. It looked and smelled very real, so I called (3x) and sent a Yelp message to ensure the restaurant was a dedicated Vegan eatery. My efforts of communication was disregarded...still no feedback. I spent $26 for the 5 piece wing meal: wings, fries and a salad. An extra $4 for a can of Ginger Beer. Kindly on all things retail, you can get a 4-pack for the same price. I expected much better, and may give it another try down the road...for now, not rushing back.

12 Piece Wing Sampler (2-3 flavors)

I've had this place saved on my list for quite a while, and finally tried it out today. The other reviews had me quite hyped up about these wings, but they were just "okay". I've had quite a few vegan/plant-based wings in 9 years, so I have many experiences to compare to. The order: 12 Piece Wing Sampler (2-3) flavors. My choice; half jerk and half buffalo. Price: $30 The flavor: The jerk was "okay"; I've had many flavorful jerk sauces, and this was just "okay"; the jerk flavor was a bit muted. The buffalo was your basic buffalo sauce. The flavors weren't exciting. The texture: The wings are seitan based. From what I read, it is wheat and oats. The texture was "okay" for seitan, but around wing number 8, my jaw started to tire from chewing. LBS(laughing but serious) that was my experience. The portion: The portion doesn't match the price. 12 wings for $30 and it comes with nothing else, no sides, drink, nothing. Exorbitant pricing. I was willing to try, today, solely on the fact that I had a discount through ubereats for my pickup order. They give you 1 ranch with the order of 12. I believe that at least 2 should be included to match the amount of wings. You get 1 ranch with the 5 piece or 10 piece, definitely need more for a 12. An extra ranch will cost you an additional .75. With all said, I'm not likely to return.

Lemon Buffalo Vegan Wangs

You can order inside if someone is in there, but it's best to order ahead via the app. Very clean on the inside and easy to get to. I tried the Lemon Buffalo Wings, which I like. Seasoned very well. I need to ask what I'm eating. I don't know if it's cauliflower or what, but I liked it. Has a crunch to it. Better eaten fresh. The Honey Habanero was too hot for me to consume more than 2. I almost want to try them again to see if I can knock out 5 of them thangs, but what's the point. It's good though.

10 lemon Buffalo wings

I have found a new way to eat wings! I drove a long way & it was worth every mile driven. I'm not vegan but I have stopped eating chicken AGAIN. I crave a 10 piece, all flats, hot w/lemon pepper from time to time & these chick'n wings scratched that itch. The lemon Buffalo sauce was just right. They were crispy on the outside just like I would order my wings. I'm not a blue cheese fan but the vegan version they served was really good. Fries were seasoned perfectly & piping hot. I also ordered a vegan doughnut that was good! This place was a whole vibe. I was greeted by the owner's brother when I walked in. He explained the menu while I listened to the smooth tunes over the loud speaker. The only think missing is a couple of bar stools at the counter. Considering my commute, I would have dined in. I love this place. Great food, excellent service. Get there ya'll!!!

Vegan Review: I was back in Atlanta visiting family and needed something to eat after my drive down from NC. As I was driving on Cascade I saw Vegan Wangs which I don't remember from the time I moved away a year ago. I ordered the 10 piece wings with lemon pepper buffalo and an order of fries. The wings had a nice consistency with Seitan. The flavor of the sauce was okay but I didn't really taste the lemon pepper. These seemed like they were just dumped in buffalo sauce which I wasn't expecting. I thought they would have been more dry on the lemon pepper side than just regular messy buffalo sauce. The fries were perfectly seasoned and piping hot. The non-diary ranch was a nice flavor. The customer service was lacking as well but I would definitely give this place another try when I need a vegan wing fix.

Yummy in my Tummy! I heard about this spot for a while and finally got the opportunity to visit. I placed my order on line but you can order in store as well. I arrived to pick up my order (lunch Chik'n Wangs (5) came with fries and a bottle water)($15). It's an intimate place with takeout only. The restaurant sit inside a small shopping center on the corner. The person that greeted me was pleasant and friendly. I received my food it was hot. The presentation of the food was appealing and the taste of the wangs was nice and crispy and the fries were hot. Even if you are not vegan you will love these. I will definitely recommend and come back.

Amazing Buffalo Wang Sandwich Combo (w/ fries)

Maaaaaaan when I tell you to run not walk or perhaps drive like a bat outta hell to this restaurant! For my non meat eaters this is ittttt! Texture, flavor , service is 10 outta 10! I can't wait to get home from LA and order some more ! I tried the lunch special 6 wangs, fries and spring water. The fact that the water was high end in a glass bottle I'm hooked! The owner payed very close attention to quality, aesthetics , the inside was cute and the ordering process was easy! Try the sauces! I was gonna order the honey hot the cook came out like do you like hot hot? I tried the sauce and was glad he warned me lol! I ended up going with buffalo! I recommend this place! Chefs kiss keep it up! May you sell out everyday!

This "Wings Sandwich" (including fries), $18.

I went on a holiday, which was super busy, but even so, service was prompt and attentive. I ordered a pasaflora to drink, which had a beautiful flower in it, queso blanco with chips, al pastor mushroom tacos, chochoyotes, and flan for dessert. Every single dish was inspired, layered with flavor, creative, and truly unique. The presentation was also lovely and each bite felt thoughtful and well-executed. I would order everything a million times over! One thing that especially stood out was the flan's texture, which was silky, delicate, and perfectly balanced. I was also pleasantly surprised to see fried green tomatoes on the menu. It felt like such a special nod to the restaurant's Southern location, blending regional influence in a really cool way. The owner was super nice, which made the experience even better. The decor is gorgeous and so inviting, with intimate, cozy lighting. The whole space feels clean, artistic, and thoughtfully designed. This is an amazing date-night spot that I truly hope sticks around for a long, loooong time. Everything about the atmosphere and experience makes it perfect for a special evening out. I'm already planning to go back and explore more of the menu, but based on my first visit alone, I might even dare to say this is the best vegan restaurant in Atlanta. The jury's still out, but I'm more than happy to keep doing the research to confirm!! lol Last thing I'll say is that I was so grateful not to have to wade through a bunch of non-vegan menu options to figure I it what I could actually order. I also don't have to wonder if my food was being cooked next to a slab of dead animal, which is not the case most places I go. So, thank you for being ALL vegan. The food is so good that there is no chance a non-vegan will feel they've missed out on meat anyway. Logistical stuff: I saw a little bit of street parking, but not a ton. Parking in the deck is definitely the easiest option. You could theoretically bike/skate the Beltline and just walk a couple of blocks to get there. The space is on the smaller side, so I'd recommend making a reservation to be safe if you're visiting on a Friday/Saturday night.

My order was ready on-time. Parking is ample in a private lot and the process of getting your order via pick-up was so easy. I felt the heft of the food in the bag immediately when I pick it up to deliver up out of it the deliciousness of everything inside. It felt like a heavy plate from the cookout or from Grandma's house after Sunday dinner. This is true food for the soul. I loved the sweet potatoes. I loved the mac and cheese. I loved, loved, LOVED the vegan chicken-like protein. I felt in love with it and the hot sauce that came with it. I was not a fan, in particular, of the collard greens--not because they lacked meat seasoning. They were a little too spicy for my liking. Otherwise, this is good food. It is Black-owned and-operated to my knowledge. Support, eat vegan, and be ye healthy.

I got the South of the Border wrap. The full size is enough for two people. It is stuffed with kale (I get the spicy one and it has a nice kick to it), avocado, black bean hummus, and couscous. I highly recommend! I usually order ahead of time and come to pick it up because service is slow. Online, it will say your order is ready in 10-15 minutes, but that is not true. Wait at least 30-45 minutes to pick it up. Also know what you want when you arrive, it helps move the line a little quicker. This is a raw vegan restaurant that is known for their kale mix. You have your choice of wraps, spicy kale, mild kale or you can do a 50/50 blend. The spicy has heat which i love but I'm glad I did the 50/50, it was perfect. There is a free parking lot a few steps away from the business and it's large so you shouldn't have a problem finding parking. I had the south of the border with a chili wrap and all ingredients. I had the half size which was extremely large and enough for two people to share or enough for two days. It's such a beautiful wrap but personally not my favorite. All the ingredients were very fresh but it was something that I just didn't enjoy about it. Maybe it was the Moroccan couscous flavor. I'm willing to try another wrap and will probably go with the OG or Dat Ish. Prices were okay for the serving size you receive. There are tables outside. And the employees were all pleasant.

We got: - Chicken Satay: The chicken itself was so believable, stringy and smoky! And crunchy (though I'm used to satay meat being grilled). The sauce was tasty too- peanut-y, sweet, hint of curry. However, for $8, I'd expect at least 4 skewers. - Shrimp Chow Kway Teow: CKT is one of my favorite noodle dishes ever, and Mamak's version certainly did it justice. The wok hei was so present, the noodles perfectly chewy, and the veggies (snow pea, onion, carrot, bean sprouts) well-cooked. The shrimp was insane, so bouncy and real-feeling. - Olive Fried Rice: Can't say I've ever had olive leaves before, this dish was delightful! Lots of great toppings (tofu, carrot, green bean, mushroom) that gave some textural diversity. - Black Pepper Beef: The black pepper essence was clearly distinguishable, but the sauce was too sweet for me. The beef was truly reminiscent of the actual thing. Lots of tasty veggies again (cauliflower, celery, jicama, carrot, bell pepper). Overall, taste-wise, all of the dishes were great; however, we did not feel portion sizes matched prices. Service could also stand to improve, with regards to attentiveness. To note, the restaurant is self-seating (I wish there was something that said this at the entrance). You can pay the bill via QR code, but there's a platform fee (I wonder if you could avoid that if you pay physically). Lots of parking available. 9/10 would recommend!

Must try: General Tso, Fried Shrimp, and Fried Oyster Mushrooms!…read more Why: I was impressed with the Daring vegan chicken used in the General Tso rice bowl. Tons of "chicken" on a bed of rice topped with onions, garlic and peppers in a sweet and spicy sauce. The apps, Fried Shrimp and Oyster Mushrooms, were also crispy and delicious esp with the Mongolian Sauce. The shrimp is made from Konjac veggie root deep fried in Chickpea flour. Reminded me a little bit of imitation crab you see in some sushi rolls. Filling meal that was flavorful. Note: I was walking around downtown during the weekend and many restaurants weee closed.
