This is the most unprofessional business I have ever had to deal. I own A trucking business and this company had my driver waiting on Roadside assistance for exactly 10HRS!!! UNEXCEPTABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL. I called several times to speak with someone from their corporate headquarters, it was the same voice, everytime but a different name. Who owns this company. Company billed me $912.37 to Amex. Called back four hours later saying driver broke an axle. Issued refund, but tied my funds up for 10 days. Told me twice they would reach out to Amex to verify so my funds would be released, but never did. Hung up on me the third time when I demanded they contact Amex. Do not use. read more

Do not, repeat DO NOT use this company. They are a complete rip-off. They charged me $1800 to replace a tire on an RV, that resulted from a blow-out. I was in a desperate situation at the time, and they certainly were aware of that and took advantage. I had no idea the extent of their exploitation until the next day when I went to purchase another tire to match the other 4 tires, and only paid less than $300. Additionally, they are a 3rd party provider and actually subcontracts the service to other tow companies. In this case, they sent someone who did not speak English and even though we muddled our way through the communication exchange it was very frustrating on both sides. The tow driver did not have a jack to lift my tire off the ground to change it - even though they knew they were coming to change a tire on an RV. I had to use my RV jacks to lift the tire, which was not safe or recommended as I was sitting on an incline off the side of the road. After the work was completed, I was ready to leave but the tow driver told me I had to wait to ensure payment had been transferred "What?!" I paid for the service in advance and it took them 3 hours to get there after only telling me it would take 90 minutes. I should not have had to wait for anything after the work was completed. The next day I asked SOS to send me an itemized statement of the charges so I could submit to my insurance company for reimbursement. They said they would send the itemized invoice as requested. After waiting almost 4 hours for the invoice and not having received it, I called them again. This time they assured me it would be sent by the end of the day. I woke up the next morning and still didn't have it so I called them again. They again said they would send it, I said when, they said today. That's all I could get out of them. The delay is likely because they know they grossly overcharged me for the service as there is no way to justify charging me $1800 to replace a tire that only cost less than $300 for a brand new tire. Again, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. When your in a situation like this it is easy to panic and accept the first service provider that is able to assist you. In this case, be a bit more patient and look to see if there are others out there, there are. I hope this review helps someone else to avoid this company like the plague they are read more

Scam Company - Driver had a breakdown. Called SOS as they showed a local shop close by. Charged $500, seemed normal for road service in the industry. Turns out, it was for them to make a call to an actual local shop (30 minutes away) to come out to make the repairs. Which then also invoiced for the service. read more

Thought we were getting a mobile mechanic. This place only dispatches a mobile mechanic from another company. So we were charged over $400 for them to call a mobile mechanic company. Had to also pay the mobile mechanic for his service which was $300. He said that SOS Towing would pay him $150 for the call out fee. Seems to be collecting money for nothing from SOS read more

Other than quick service call I would not recommend this tow compan. My Mercedes Sprinter class C+ B Rv would not start and needed a jump. From the start the gentleman was not familiar with rv sprinter and told me it needed special jumper to get it going. Told him I was a good Sam customer and he said I have to pay upfront and will get reimburse from good sam. Needless to say local tow company came and it took a standard jump like any car. Guy was there maybe 5 minute. Bill came to over $600.00. Talked about be taken advantage of. On a call back they had My sprinter Rv down as a class A. So I have to not only deal with being over charged by sos i have to with Good Sam to get reimburse. Horrible experience. read more

called them in Amarillo they wanted 170 for a jump . I hesitated so they told me they would do 150 and bd there in 30 minutes i agreed because it was cold outside . Two hours later still no show .. I called AAA to have them send someone to fix a flat. They sent out SOS towing. The guys called me when they were headed my way. It took them 20 minutes from the time I called AAA to arrival. When the guys got here we were unable to find my wheel locks. I was afraid they wouldn't be able to get the tire changed but they managed to do it! They had to break off the lock, but I could have cared less! I needed that tire changed! The guys were incredible friendly and quick. I definitely recommend using this company! read more

Found SOS online when searching for a tiny home mover. Contacted them for assistance with a cross-country move. They requested a $75 deposit to ensure they would arrive the next day. Was given a time of 8am, then between 1-2pm, then guaranteed in 90 minutes (4pm). They never showed up. When called they said I had not returned a text in time to book the load. However, I had sent them the information requested several times and even talked to them on the phone after said time. They ended up cancelling on their own and refused to return the $75 deposit although they failed to uphold their end of the arrangement. I would not recommend this company, they are a group of scammers. read more

This company forced my father to give over credit card information prior to finalizing a quote that came in significantly higher. the price was too high so we decided to go with other means. They continued to charge us a cancelation fee for a reservation that was not agreed to. SCAM business. Stay Clear if you don't want to be swindled. read more

Today was a Sunday when folks were supposed to be celebrating veterans day. I had to call AAA because my car wouldn't start and the tow driver arrived within 20 minutes. He helped me jump my car and gave me some pointers on where to have the mechanics look for the problem. We drove to two different shops because Pep Boys refused to work on my car because I bought my own battery so he towed me to another shop. The driver come to find out is a Vietnam veteran and cancer survivor working on a Sunday because he enjoys helping people. I wanted to commend his customer service he was an awesome tow driver! Drivers unprofessional when you call into owner they deny deny deny. So many other towing options in the area that are better and actually care about their customers feedback. AAA has also been noticed, I hope they lose their contract. read more

My tow driver, Dave, was great! It was actually very friendly and personable despite the thunderstorm he was in while unlocking my car. Honestly this coming is good and the drivers they have are stellar also.
