I can't begin to explain how frustrating it is to accidentally kill your battery in the hot summer heatwave. So there I sat in Denton with a dead battery, with no idea to call. First place I checked was on YELP. From the time I dialed Akers towing, they were nice friendly and empathetic. The awesome lady on the phone was super patient with me, and even called again to let me know they were on their way. The woman that arrived to jump me was just as awesome and kind as the woman on the phone!!! I don't anticipate being in Denton again and having a dead battery, but if I did, this is a company you can trust!! Fair prices, awesome and fast!!! I ran out of gas in the middle of the road and was stranded for 2 hours. I have never been in this situation and had literally no idea how to go about it. The police officer that eventually came to my rescue sat with me and we filled up gas in my car but it was still not turning on, the officer called Akers and Ruben was able to show up to the scene very fast and jumped my car for me. I lived extremely close to the scene and he did not want to charge me to tow my car all the way back to Akers so he found a solution to my problem! THANK YOU Ruben for your help! Not everyone is as gracious and helpful especially when they have to deal with a younger person like myself who doesn't know how to handle tough situations like this. Tow was reasonably priced in Denton area. My instructions were followed for drop off location. I also requested a photo of the drop off and they sent one. Everything went very smooth. Very impressed. This company was super helpful and has FANTASTIC customer service. They were really efficient and they're pricing was very reasonable. Got stalled out in the side of a gas station, I called AAA and there was no help from them and I was able to get a tow truck in not even 20 minutes. He was very helpful and he handled it with care. Called for wrecker to tow daughters car home because the key would not turn. Driver used a hammer to tap the tumblers so the key would start the car. This saved me money and time. Great service and people. read more

Very happy with their service! Called and requested them to come pick my car up from my house and take it to an auto body shop. They were there within 30 minutes and we're cheaper than I expected! I was expecting $125+ but it was $92 to get me from Argyle to a shop in Denton. I'll definitely be using them again, but hopefully I won't be needing a tow anytime soon lol read more

happend today @ around 1:30pm.As i was riding my motorcycle across the intersection of Carroll and University, heading south on Carroll, one of your dark red tow trucks blasted through the redlight on university to cut me off and cause me to lane change in the middle of an intersection to avoid a collision. all because dip shit driver in the truck didn't want to wait in line....in a hurry putting others at risk. read more

I needed Akers to tow my Mercedes SL500 to a shop that was not too far away in Denton Texas. I was impressed, first off, by the fact that the tow truck driver requested to see my owner's manual to see that he was going to tow it properly. My car is my baby, and I'm a little bit protective of it. However my fears were quickly set aside once I started following him. I noticed how slowly and safely he took turns on the way to the shop, and also I noticed how far ahead he began stopping for stop signs and red lights. He treated my car as if I were royalty, and the customer service that I experienced at the end when closing out the ticket was just the same. I feel like that I was dealing with someone who had utmost respect not only for my car, but for me and the business and I was bringing him. When you break a belt in a Mercedes you're usually not in a good mood. Akers made it a little easier. I would highly recommend this towing company to anyone who's looking for a tow in the north Dallas area, as I have yet to experience of towing service that is as professional as this one. read more

They're the worst company here in denton, they scratched my car to the point where I'll have to get it repainted and when I asked them about the damage, the driver Justin just ignored me. Do not use them at all if you like to have a nice car or any car for that matter. read more
