There was also not a very noticeable warning on the visitor register site either, it flashed on the screen for like a second before disappearing. The so called signage on the make-shift website also does not mention that it expires after 24 hours. All my cars towed and they never damaged anything. Here at Ashli Oaks in Denton they pick who gets towed and who they will harass. Not the tow company. If you talk to the ppl at the impound yard respectfully they will treat as such and will work with you. The owner himself told me had made enough off of me and worked with me. My friend's car was towed, and the other three vehicles out of our group were not. There is no…read moresignage on the property to designate guest or visitor parking at the apartment complex we were visiting. I pulled up the Tow Companies TDLR license registration for both the towing and vehicle storage facility side and they do not have the required TDLR fee schedule on file with TDLR that they have posted on their wall. Per Texas State Code and TDLR they have to have a submitted fee schedule that matches what they have on file with TDLR posted in their place of business. They have not given a fee schedule to TDLR so that's two violations both license numbers show now fee schedule. They charged my friend for 2 days of storage when we took him to pick up his car within four hours of it being towed. VSF's cannot charge for more than one day of storage fees if they have a non consent towed vehicle stored for less than 12 hours. That is another violation. We provided state code and law for the state of Texas and the management refused to allow the window cashier to release the car until the towing/storage fees were paid. The website link they have on their receipt that tells which precint to go to to file a dispute for the towing, does not work, that's another TDLR violation. If you have read this and been towed be sure to ask them for all information and keep your records to file a complaint with TDLR and file a dispute with the local Justice of the Peace.
