BUYERS BEWARE ,a few cars did not start as advertised, that are being auction off on 7-14-2025. Two of three cars did not start with The Wrecker"s fully charge jump box( power supply),when tested,on 7-10-2025,nor did the accessories light up inside the interior of both cars( like the dome light and dash lights). The Lorenzo Automotive Denton Auto Repair is " conveniently" located next to the cars that are being auctioned,ready to take your money,when your jump box or new battery does not start the cars,whom the towing company is indirectly affiliated with. After car decided to shut off at a busy light we gave EJ's towing a call. She said our tow guy would be there in about 45 minutes but ended up being about 20. Ryan was courteous and professional! Got our car towed home (because everything is closed on the weekend). Monday morning gave them a call again, car was picked up and taken to dealership all within 45 minutes (by Ryan again). I had a great experience! I broke down on I-35E outside Denton and Matt arrived within 30 minutes, was very helpful, and stayed with me at the mechanic until he was sure everything was taken care of. My distance to the mechanic was relatively short (about 10 minutes) but I thought the price was reasonable too. Give them a call! read more

My car broke down on a Friday afternoon in Denton. I waited several hours for Lexus Assist to send a tow truck which never came. Called EJ's Towing who said they would arrive within an hour. They showed up in 20 minutes. Sammy Morrison was the driver and he got me safely into the air conditioned cab while he loaded my car. He took me and my car to the Lexus dealership in Grapevine and got my car unloaded. He was very professional and willingly worked late on a Friday evening. read more

awful awful company & employees. let me start off by saying i'm a 5'1 22 year old woman. i was trying to get into my apartment complex & the tow truck was blocking the only entrance. i sat there for about 5 minutes while 3 workers sat around taking pictures & goofing off. i roll my window down to ask if they'd be much longer & one of the men immediately says "why don't you get back in your car, and just go away." i explain i live in the complex & needed in. they refuse to move the truck. there's 3 cars behind me blocking the one way we're all in. so i was literally just stuck between a bunch of cars & this truck. i do have pictures of all the employees as well. and the truck blocking the gate. when i try speaking to them they yell at me to get back into my car (i wasn't even out of my car. the window was down) and to get my ass out of their sight. as i'm trying to get away from the situation & get out because i feel unsafe, the two men are flipping me off & calling me names. when one of the men threatened to break my arm i decided id file a police report & report it to the company. the company has done everything to cover it up with no consequences to those employees. i'm remaining anonymous on site for safety reasons. but the police report will hopefully do me justice read more

Paid 279 for them to tow my car to there yard paid for storage and came to pick it up on a dolly to get it to East texas . Paid my bill and they towed it out front and dropped it the parking break was electric and the neutral lock didn't have an emergency release and the battery was dead so I asked them for some cables to take the break off and they said sure for 75 dollars now had they just handed me some cables or come out for one second I would have tipped at least 20 but we will never know bc customers don't matter here your pretty much on your own so you choose who to tow your car and maybe this review will help someone read more

We had a blowout on the way home driving down 35. The driver came out and was able to get our spare down (have aftermarket wheels) so the spare had been up there for quite a while. He took great care of us and was very professional. Got everything swapped out and even made sure to raise the spare holder back up so it didn't drag. Turned a pretty crappy night a little better with the way he took care of everything. read more

Had a flat tire on I-35 near Denton after dark. Scaaary!!!! Called 911 because we didn't know anything about the area. The Highway patrol officer suggested EJ's. Called them and they were there really quick. Felt as if the Calvary had just arrived. Tyler Roberts was the driver and he was very professional and kind. He towed us to safety, changed our tire and we were on our way! The fee was very reasonable, also. Would definitely recommend them! read more

This place is an absolute joke. My boyfriend lives 4 hours away and just needed a measurement of his trailer that was in their lot and they wouldn't even do that. It takes two seconds to go outside and measure the width. I'm surprised at seeing all of these reviews saying they went above and beyond, because that was not the case for my boyfriend.
