Honestly not a bad towing company. They charged me $200 (which is the average tow fee). Getting your car towed is no fun but the people there weren't the worst, like these comments say they are. On The Road Again is absolutely vicious and disgusting. I was not even here in Denton for more than 2 hours parked at my friends apartments. We left for like an hour and came back from dinner and my car was gone. Like they were just waiting for us to leave. And then the payment was $390 bucks. The baseline police tow price was $290. The little girls there were so rude, not even sympathetic, just bitchy about the whole situation. There was no signage or any warning about towing on the visitor parking signs. There was also not a very noticeable warning on the visitor register site either, it flashed on the screen for like a second before disappearing. The so called signage on the make-shift website also does not mention that it expires after 24 hours. Preying on broke college students is absolutely disgusting, I hope your mom is proud and both sides of your pillow are always warm. Update: 2:30am I went out to check on my car. I don't usually leave reviews but this place is honestly so predatory. This company tows multiple different apartment complexes. I have watched them sit there and wait for cars in parking lots. I watched them tow a car and the top of the car had banged against the top of the garage and one of its signs. They have towed me twice in one night and it was $340+ each time. As a college student, I am in no financial position to pay for it. But sure, whatever. This company and the people that work for it should feel ashamed. I'm not someone who complains online -- I'm far from a "Karen." I came into this situation calm, respectful, and just trying to get answers before my friend picked up her car. But the experience I had with Rebecca at the front office was honestly unacceptable. From the moment I walked in, she was rude, dismissive, and visibly irritated, even though I approached her politely. I asked a few basic questions, and instead of helping, she gave me snappy, short responses and acted like I was bothering her. The tension she created in the room was ridiculous and completely unnecessary. When I asked if she was the manager, she ignored me the first time. I had to ask twice before she finally said, "there isn't one here." I asked again for a supervisor or someone above her, and she absolutely refused to give me any information. She only calmed down a little once she realized I wasn't going to just walk out confused. I wasn't leaving without a way to contact someone in charge, and after asking several more times, she finally -- and reluctantly -- gave me an email that was almost impossible to read. When I asked who I should address it to, she said, "Say it's to Hunter." This whole interaction felt intentionally difficult, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Getting towed is already stressful, but being treated like this when you're just trying to get clarity makes the entire situation ten times worse. Obviously they are in contact with management in surrounding areas because from story's I've heard, it amazes me to know the quickness they're to catch you minutes from parking without registering while visiting peers. They towed my car since I forgot to sign it in at the property I was visiting - fair enough. What's not fair is the fact that they damaged my car in the process and refused to respond to my email about it until I followed up. AND they said they did not damage my car and would not respond to further emails from me. If you ever need your car towed, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. They WILL mishandle your car and screw you over once you realize. If you happen to get towed by them, make sure to inspect your car for damage ON SITE. This company is relentless and preys on people's downfall. For context, i got towed because i forgot to sign my car in but obviously thats on me so i wasn't mad. I will say that the lady working there that night was really nice. However, since it was really late when i went to pick up my car i decided to stay at my friends apartment (signed in). However, the very next night we were doing homework and i was only TWENTY MINUTES off from resigning my car and it WAS ALREADY GONE. I got towed back to back nights and when i went in and tried to reason with them (with my payment receipt and sign in screenshots) I was treated quite poorly. I understand that everyone has a sob story but BRO omfg twenty measly minutes. 300$ dollars is an EGREGIOUS amount of money especially since the apartment is .2 miles away. And i know theyre not low on business cuz that lot is always full. Also, its an added $25 for every day they have you impounded. GOOD LORD. Having to drop 600$ in one week while in college just to get your car back is just straight up soul crushing. Absolutely disgusting business. Towed my car from an apartment complex after my friend called the front desk and checked that my car would be fine. The number posted on the sign didn't work so I had to go on a wild goose chase to find my car. (Photo below is the number on the sign- it does not work, I kept getting told the number was unavailable) Front desk ladies were rude. My car came back with its tires low, rim scratches, cup marks on the top of the car and handprints all over including things that I wouldn't expect to be messed with like the gas cap and the back doors. I understand they have to hook it up but the marks all over the car seemed excessive. Almost $300 to retrieve my car. I asked for documentation for my family lawyer and let them know I'd be sending it to him since everything I sign goes through him and was laughed at by the front desk. Unprofessional and predatory. They towed my car from a paid lot on Denton square that I had proof of paying and told me he didn't care what proof I had because "it didn't show I paid it on their end". I showed him the app where I paid for 4 hours of parking and they towed my car 2 hours into that 4 hour timeframe. You can see in the photos that I paid for 8pm-12am and the receipt shows they towed at 10:10pm. All car and lot info was correct in the app. I even asked if I could call the company that controls the app you pay for the parking on and have them send proof that I paid for my spot, and I was refused and once again told that they don't care what proof I have to show them and that "the only way I'm getting my car out is if I pay them the $186". They claim in their responses to reviews here that if you properly register your car, "you'll never be towed", but I took every step to make sure I was legally parked and they still towed me and made me pay $190 to get my car back when I did nothing wrong in my registration and had proof right in front of them. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, whether it was the app or their own system, and letting me take my car, they chose to punish me for doing everything correctly and refused to make it right. So good luck to anyone who gets towed here. read more

this place is god awful. they towed my friends car that was registered at the arbors of denton. had zero empathy when we explained that her permanent plates were delivered that day and the old plates were mistakenly registered and unable to be removed. there is no way i would ever rate a tow company more than a single star because the concept of this buisness model is mostly evil. but these people were awfully rude. i don't think a single person made eye contact with my friends and i the entire time we were there. they ignored us when we asked questions, speaking over us and asking "CASH OR CARD??" before we paid, we had to make a few calls to see if we can't iron out the situation and whilst we stood outside to do so, they KICKED us out of the gates and closed it behind us. no one was budging and obviously we needed to retrieve the stolen car without any trouble so we paid. as we left, one of the soulless employees made a comment about us having a poor attitude. we were just about as nice as we could be provided y'all stole our car lol. can't imagine you encounter a single smiling face working at a place like this.. genuine question: how do you guys sleep at night knowing that you are scum? read more

This company consists of the human equivalents of junk cars. Morally dubious people who capitalize off of victims that 1) choose to pay in person yet are towed before they can complete the transaction 2) are not able to see the poor signage (particularly in the rain/dark), or 3) did not have Internet signal when accessing the payment app. They claim they do not lurk. However, they absolutely do and I can upload footage of the tow truck in question. This company also has a slogan (found in a news article) that proudly demands their workers to "never return to the lot without a car in tow." If that doesn't show you their flippant attitudes towards their work, their dishonest replies in these reviews surely will. One of these days you are going to tow someone who will not be as civil and peaceful in dealing with you as I was the other week.
