I've been coming here for about 4 or 5 years to get my vehicles inspected. Never had an issue. A couple of times I failed an inspection because the vehicle had not been driven much recently, but they told me to drive it around and put some miles on it and bring it back for a recheck, and it always eventually passed. No problem. This year, I bring in one of my cars for an inspection and the attendant tells me it failed, they couldn't connect to the vehicle. No further explanation or information, just, that'll be $18.96. So I paid the attendant and off I went. The next day, I bring it to my mechanic for repairs, and he says there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. So, back to Sticker Station I go. They take the vehicle and then tell me it won't connect with their equipment, and invite me to the back to talk to the actual person conducting the inspection. Here is where I get the full story of what's going on. For some reason, there inspection equipment will not read my vehicle. The physical port of where they insert their probe is fine, my vehicle is fine, it's just that their equipment won't read my vehicle, for whatever reason. This would have been some nice information to know from the beginning, but whatever. Well anyway, the inspector suggested that I try another inspection business and see if I have any success. So I did, and it worked at this other place of business. So now I have a car that has an inspection that has passed, but I have paid for two inspections. I sent a message off to the Texas Department of motor vehicles and told them my story. They sent a message saying that they don't handle that, I would have to look to the business for a refund. So, I thought this isn't going to end well, but I'll give it a shot. So back to Sticker Station I go and show them the successful inspection from this other business and I would like a refund. He thought about it for a few seconds and then told another attendant to refund my money. Wow, I wasn't expecting that, but thank you Shaun for doing the right thing. Quick review: Went in this morning on my vacay to take care of our vehicle inspections. Literally took 15 mins tops. Service was quick and professional. The waiting room was clean and there was a TV on. Unfortunately the station was tuned to "The View" and no sooner did those dimwits started talking their usual nonsense did the guy come back into the office and let us know the cars were inspected. Total for 2 vehicles was a few coins over $33 dollars. read more

Customer service? No. Will not go back. No one at the desk, had to call multiple times for the guy to get up off his phone. When he finally acknowledged me, he was rude and put out that he had to work. Couldn't figure out to adjust my seat, I tried to help him and pushed my hand away and said "forget it, I don't want to deal with it". He obviously didn't want to work today. I won't be back. I am paying $500. Dollars for a new oil pan because my drain bolt was stripped and no longer able to seal correctly. The owner said she had a sign that I had to take it to her store to have them fix first. But I took it to my mechanic and she would rather not pay for her bad business. I had a terrible fear that my car was going to become undrivable and they looked at it, did a little work which fixed the problem, and charged me nothing. Took my car in today for an oil change. Have been going to this location for 15 years and never had an issue. Today though went in for a full synthetic change and about 5-10 minutes the gentleman come to the counter and tells me the car calls for 5w20 and that there isn't a 5w20 synthetic only 0w20. I have been bring this car and several others here for many years and always get synthetic. Me being the hoarder I am, go back and look at receipts from past visits and all are marked syn. The last windows sticker was marked syn. I can only assume someone mistakenly put 5w20 in it and to avoid emptying and changing the filter again they gave me the story there is no 5w20 synthetic. I would of had no issue if they told me that there was a mistake and conventional was put in, but to come in and tell me that there is no such thing I will be looking for a new place to do oil changes, inspections, etc. read more

I went here for a registration but I don't believe the technician did a diligent job in getting my car inspected. I was told my brake didn't work which was new to me. Went to another place was inspected no problem. To this day I still have not found a brake problem with my car. read more

Seems like some people have had negative experiences here. I only had one negative experience when I came in for a oil change quote. A heavy-set younger Asian guy came to help me and I asked for the price of a synthetic oil change. He gave me a look and surveyed my car and said "you don't need synthetic" his tone was a bit condescending and I said that yes my car uses synthetic. I may be female but that doesn't mean I don't know what oil my car uses. That was the only slightly negative experience. I ended up going somewhere else later that week just out of convenience. I've had my car inspected here the last could of years and they've always been nice. The owner John has always been friendly and today Raymond was really professional and accommodating. Inspections are inexpensive, too. Will go next year as well. read more

Went today. They drained my oil. Told me they don't have a oil filter. Told me they could put the old dirty filter back in "it's not a big deal" I was shocked. They finally went to a parts store in town to get a filter after I got on the phone and found one at the first place I called. My husband came to the shop for an inspection. The inspector used a razor blade to scrape-off the old sticker and peeled-off the window tint in the process. Now the window has a huge gash in the tint and is peeling. The tint was less than a year old. We contacted the owner to ask him what he would do the rectify the problem, he was argumentative, rude, and said he would do nothing about the damage they did to our car. This is no way to conduct business and we will be taking action to see that they take responsibility for the damage. read more

Quick, very friendly, and inexpensive. The guys working there are great. Knowledgeable and extremely customer oriented. This is the only place I get my oil changed these days. And to answer the $25 guy complaint. They have a really fast service that's just $25 where they only change out your oil and don't do the filter. They LIED to me on the phone. They told me on the phone it was $38 for an oil change. I asked "What if I bring in my own oil?" He told me $25. What a good deal I thought! I of course brought my own oil and after everything was said and done, the guy at the counter tells me $25 but the owner(the rude old man) said well wait did you bring the oil filter? He told me nothing about bringing an oil filter over the phone. So he said well I have to charge you for a filter and it ended up coming out to $34! I would not of spent extra money on my own oil when they were only going to give me a $4 credit for bringing my own oil. The owner is a liar and a swindler. I do have to give one of the employee's credit for trying his best to give me the oil change for $25. I will NEVER go here again. read more

I've been here twice...once for an oil change, and once for a state inspection.I have a 1995 vehicle that has an OBDII port on it. I went out to show the inspector, Randy Gandee, where the OBDII port is, and he replied that the car is a 1995 and it has to be run as an ASM. I politely mentioned that Firestone ran an OBD test last year, and he slammed my hood shut and told me to f****** take it there. He used foul language multiple times. He was very impatient and would not listen to what I had to say. I asked him why Firestone would have ran the OBD test if it wasn't possible...and he once again shut my hood and told me to take it to Firestone again. Then he called me over to the computer and showed me that Firestone entered my car as a 1996, and that is how they got around running an ASM test. Firestone is at fault for this issue, so I asked him to continue with the ASM test.When it came time to pay the fee, I paid for the inspection; however, it turned out only after I paid that I was undercharged due to a mismatch in their system with the year of my vehicle. It showed up as a 2004, when it was in fact a 1995 vehicle. Because of this error, I was charged for an OBD test, and not an ASM (higher cost). Randy Gandee came back in, and I tried to explain that when I came in for an oil change last time, my receipt showed 2004 for some reason. He became very impatient again and started having a hissy fit and walked out slamming the door behind him. All I was trying to do was pay the correct fee.There was a customer behind me that just walked in for service, and he witnessed Randy Gandee being rude to me at the counter. He took one look at my wife and said "this is bad customer service" and walked out.Your inspector Randy will ruin your business if he keeps working there. I hope you take this review into consideration. I am appalled at the behavior of this inspector. He has no customer service or people skills whatsoever.
