No upselling friendly and fast! I have used Personal Touch for multiple vehicles now and have never had a bad experience.

We have been going here for years and there was an issue with the oil plug after they changed the oil. They've made the repair and when we returned for our next old visit, they said they can no longer change the oil in our vehicles because of the plastic plug they put in the oil pan. They don't stand behind what they install. I wouldn't use them. It seemed the guy behind the counter might've been impaired. read more

I won't be back. I've been going to Personal Touch since they opened up over on Hundley Dr. That's a long time. The place is under new management and you can tell. They have been out of my oil filter for a week. The previous owner, Mr Wheat: A. would not run out. B. would have gone across to Walmart and bought one. But I was informed Mr. Wheat no longer owns this place. You can tell. I've notice attitude problems the last few times I was in there, now I know why. read more

Have been going to this shop for a long time. Personal cars and my work van for the company I work for. Mr Wheat and Joe were two of the best people in the area and very caring. Since they are no longer with us, this place has gone down fast. Thirty years of supporting this place and I have finally made my last trip here. Not the same as it used to be. Counter person is rude not helpful at all and looks as if he doesn't want to be there. Really wish someone that knew how well the Wheats treated customers would have taken over. So sad. read more

Normally I don't have any problem with this place, the last few times i've gone have been fine. This time it was completely empty, nobody inside and all of the employees were in the garage just chatting (I get it, it's slow). I stood in the lobby waiting for someone to come talk to me so I could get an oil change but after a few minutes of just standing at the desk and making eye contact with multiple employees with still nobody ever truly acknowledging that i was standing there i finally just left. read more

Not very helpful at all. I had to wait for more than an hour and a half for a state inspection. Jason the inspector never actually signed the paperwork. The DMV wouldn't accept the paperwork. I will never go back there are plenty of other places that will appreciate your patronage. read more

Extremely disappointed. I got an oil change recently. Someone told me they are hearing a ticking sound from my car, and recommended to check my oil. I check it, and I have no oil at all in the car. I should of had plenty in there but totally dry. I bought a 5 quart container to put in my car and my car was so low on oil it took all 5 quarts. A little more time and my engine could of blown. Went here today to get my vehicle inspection. The guy told me they cant inspect my vehicle because the ground is too wet from the rain and they need to check my brakes at 20mph. WHAT? Brakes work in the rain and on wet roads! I did drive the 2 year old, working car to the shop, perfectly fine. So I went right across the street and had it done. Went to get my oil changed and I knew my oil pan plug was super tight from a quick lube place that changed my oil the last time. After fighting with it for some time, they put the tire change impact gun on it and it came loose. Needed a new plug, which they said that see all the time. They didn't charge any extra for the extra work. I've used them for years for inspections, but now they will do all my mechanic work. read more

I have always taken my car here for inspection and never had issues. Yesterday I dropped my car off for inspection and came back later to pick up. They said they couldn't inspect because the machine would not connect to my car and I needed a mechanic to look at it... Well my husband is a mechanic and found nothing to be wrong. He decided to take it to Anderson's for the inspection and they had no problem getting it to read. Anderson's tells my husband that Personal Touch marked my car as a fail even though they couldn't connect to it! Not sure why they would that. So literally pulled up for an oil change. Three guys just standing around in the bay. I'm waiting to be guided in so we can knock it out. They look at me and continue their convo. No one approached me, gave directions etc. After sitting there without being acknowledged I left. Major customer service fail. This place robs people. Go for an inspection, they failed it. Went across the street and passed with flying colors. Unethical place. Went for a battery a year ago and gave me a run around on the price. Went ahead and bought it, and it was a bad battery. Then the price went down on that battery and when i returned the batt, they didnt want to give me what i paid for. They wanted to give me refund of sale price. Have no problem sending wife and daughter there to get their oil changes because I know they won't be taken advantage of like lots of auto places try to do.
