Contacted Northstar for a quote for delivery of a non working vehicle. Answered the phone quickly and provided quote. The next day I called for service. The owner of Northstar was to my residence in 15m post phone request, and carefully and consciously loaded the car into the flatbed. The car was delivered without issue and confirmation text was sent. Quote was spot on and service was fabulous. Sam at Northstar Towing is amazing and the best out there! I called Sam after being scammed by another tow company who was "10 minutes out" for 3 hours and required payment up front and never showed. My nephew had a wreck on 635 in 5 o'clock traffic on a Friday night and had been towed off by the police/fire and was sitting in the dark waiting. I called Sam and he assured me he could be on the road in seconds and to my nephew in 25 minutes. He let my nephew know he was on his way and showed up exactly as he said. He had the car up and I met them at the dealership for drop off less than an hour after my call! He even made sure my car started before he pulled away. I would describe Sam and the business he runs as honest, honorable; true to his word, trustworthy and cares about his customers - I really cannot say enough about how much his kindness meant to me. A few days ago my 16 year old son was hit hard by a negligent driver. When I got there I saw the car and new it was likely totaled and I needed a tow. I called 2 places first, one the lady who answered clearly did not want my business and I got a time frame through persistence, it was 2-3 hours. I called the tow company that my body shop recommended on their after hours voice mail, they asked me if we could just do it tomorrow since he was pretty busy. I was really at my wits end, I called Northstar Towing expecting more of this insane B.S. and the gentleman who answered was polite and attentive. I told him where I was and that I needed a tow, he told me it would be about 25 minutes!!!! My father was with me and he said yeah right, more like 2-3 hours, and I agreed that was likely the case. However, Sam rolled up 30 minutes on the dot. He pulled up to us, rolled down the window and asked how everyone was and if the people in the car were ok FIRST. Only after did he pull forward and quickly and efficiently get the car on the truck and ready to go. He was kind, knowledgeable and friendly. It was one of the most refreshing interactions with ANY business I have had, much less a tow truck company! I can't recommend this company enough. My truck left me stranded away from home when it would not start. I contacted Northstar Towing shortly after 8 pm and the driver arrived in about 20 minutes. The driver was professional, courteous and took great care in hooking up my truck. The driver towed my truck to a local garage at my request and placed it in the parking lot so the shop could easily move it since the vehicle would not start. This is the best experience I have ever had with a tow service, who were prompt and very helpful. Highly highly recommended!! Newman was the driver who helped my son and me. We had tried to use the roadside assistance plan through my auto insurance company, after being told someone was on the way (and it would be a two hour wait) we found out after and hour and a half that the pick up company cancelled! We found this company by searching Yelp! Had a reply within 6 minutes and Newman came immediately! He was near Little Elm, we were off Spur 408. He was there in 45 minutes, loaded the car and took it to the repair shop (and we didn't have to go with him!) He text and sent a picture of where he parked the car!
