If I could give zero stars, I would. I ended up with them through my At&t roadside service. Car completely died & needed to be towed literally 2.5 miles away to dealership. AT&T covers up to 4-7 miles with their coverage & these shady bastards called me back after booking & said it would be an additional $20. Asked if they took credit cards, he said no & that they could stop at an ATM or charge me $5 more. Then called AT&T back, told them what was going on, they apologized, cancelled order & rebooked me. I was in central dallas on a busy street, FYI- not out in the middle of nowhere. Glad I have this extra hour sitting in broken car to write review in a timely manor. I wish I could give .0023 of a star. After calling roadside assistance through insurance for a lockout I was quoted one hour wait time at 8:15. This company was assigned at 8:30 and claimed to be on the way. After standing outside in the cold for the quoted hour, I received no update or word from the company. I called at 9:15 and was told the technician was finishing up a call in a nearby town and would be on his way shortly. This town is 15 minutes away. Another 45 minutes later at 10:00, I still had received zero communications from this company. Once again I called and was told the technician was not going to arrive until 10:30. At 10:30 I again was the one who reached out and was told the technician would be arriving at 11:00. This next part will not surprise you; when at 11:00 I was standing outside in the freezing cold waiting on the assistance that was supposed to arrive at 9:15, I was informed that the assistance was still not going to arrive for another 15 minutes! What a miracle it was that at 11:17 the technician arrived. By all means, if you enjoy radio silence paired with feeble lies about "traffic" in a small town on a Wednesday night, call on this company. If, on the other hand, you value communication, efficiency, and customer service then call literally any company except this one. You might even be better off hoofing it to the nearest gas station or smashing your car window with a rock. read more

I was apartment hunting today... took forever, then I finally chose a place. Signed the application, got everything handled, and then my car goes Kaput... added coolant, let it rest...even got it jumpstarted! Nothing happened to help it! Long story short, seems like I need the alternator fixed or replaced, but I used this towing company through OnStar. Jon arrived about 5 minutes earlier than estimated, and he was really friendly. My service was prompt, efficient and I was happy. I know there are some unhappy customers ... I was a little skeptical about calling this tow company since it has one good review and the rest are just completely disappointed with it. My wife was in a minor car accident, but we still wanted to have the car towed. After calling multiple tow companies and all of them letting us know that there would be over an hour wait, we decided to call Gill's Towing. They gave me a 30-35 minutes wait estimate. I recently called A-1 Gill's towing service and had a horrible experience. They showed up over an hour late, then claimed they didn't have the tools to tow my truck. Gill's then tried to up charge me an extra $20 to tow the truck. I declined their service and went with a different towing company.
