Mochi ice cream and princess peach cupcake
Jessica L.

Went for Mario night. Food was good. There was only 2 set ups for gaming which was disappointing. Servers were really nice. Princess peach cupcake was dry and taste more like a carrot cake.

This place is an Asian fusion sushi steakhouse. And with that combination, you'd think part of the menu would suffer, but it doesn't. Every single thing I ate was simply amazing. Appetizers, entrées, and sushi were all perfect. The restaurant is a jumping place. A little loud at times, but we had a large table. Sitting at the bar is also a treat to watch the chefs work. The service was fantastic, even with a big table. This place is not to be missed if you are in Cleveland.

Sora was awesome!!! My boyfriend and I came here on a Monday night without a reservation for our anniversary dinner, and we were seated almost immediately. Our servers were very kind and patient, explaining the entire menu when we told them it was our first time here, and gave us several recommendations. We ended up getting the toro crudo, crab rangoon mozzarella sticks, and two omakases (sushi and sashimi). We also tried their drinks - I got the Sakura (which was a very refreshing, non-alcoholic drink), while my boyfriend got one of the draft beers. Our food came out relatively quickly and I was pleasantly surprised by everything! The crab rangoon mozzarella sticks were crispy, flakey, and flavorful, and the toro crudo was extremely light and fresh -- the perfect appetizers. Our omakase platters were plated beautifully and were so, so delicious; the fish was fresh, cut well, and paired well with the various toppings the chefs put on top. I also love that they had fresh wasabi (which wasn't too spicy)! While it is a bit pricey, I think the quality of all the ingredients made the experience worth it. Overall, I'd definitely come back!! Note: The restaurant can be a little hard to find, but it is on the ground floor of a hotel building, right next to a parking structure (which is a little pricey, but less so than valet). To get to the parking structure, you just need to drive through the one-way street and past the valet area, and the entrance to the parking garage will be on the right side.

My arrival into the Land began at Sora. Still my favorite restaurant overall in CLE.

I moved to Cleveland just over a month ago and this was the first restaurant I was introduced to. It is still my favorite restaurant so far. The vibe of a place is everything to me. You can feel the energy when you walk in the door. At Sora, it all feels like a magical experience when you walk through the door. I love to sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs in action. Everything I've had at Sora is beyond delicious. My son joined me one evening at Sora and he had just arrived back from Tokyo Japan. He was blown away by everything at Sora. It was comparable to the best sushi he had in Japan. I can't say enough about this place. The vibe, the food, the people. GREAT experience every time at Sora.

I had been wanting to try Sora for a while and was happy when a friend decided this would be our dinner location before a concert. Cute atmosphere and friendly wait staff. For starters we had crab Rangoon fried mozzarella. I thought it was a creative and tasty twist on the classic. After our apps one of the chefs actually came by the table and I asked what he would recommend. He spoke very highly of the pork belly, so I went with it and I enjoyed it. It was both sweet and savory, but not too salty. The dessert was really good. The kid and me loves anything peanut butter and jelly, so a dessert with this flavorings was a no brainer. I think it may have been seasonal, but it was delicious.

Sora served tasty sushi and rolls with amazing presentation and flavor that haves the fish melt in your mouth. I tried a few of their spirit free cocktails which were truly delicious and photo worthy to go along with my grilled octopus appetizer and rolls for the night. Every piece of fish was presented very well when I dined at Sora and the menu featured plenty of options to choose from. I ended the night with mochi donuts for desert and found my entire experience at Sora to be satisfying. I would recommend visiting !

Love Sora! We've come here a few times when we visit Cleveland and it never disappoints... this time we started with the Crispy Spicy tuna rice and it was definitely spicy but very good. Then we shared the potsticker soup and it was PHENOMENAL! It was chilly out so I wish I got this for my meal it was so good! Then we finished with a specialty roll and tuna, octopus, and scallop sashimi and it was extremely fresh. We've only stopped in on Sundays so it's quiet and lowkey which is nice and the food comes out quick. Our waitress gave great recommendations and we can't wait to come back'

Salmon

Ordered salmon and it was completely raw and gelatinous. Was also cold. Very disappointing considering I thought I found a great salmon place

Sora never disappoints! The ambience is beautiful. The decor is very cute and welcoming. The service from the time you enter the door to your table is always amazing. The server was very nice and She gave us time to look at the menu and she was very attentive. For food we ordered the crispy rice and spicy salmon roll, drunken noodles with shrimp and a side of fried rice. The food was a 12/10 very fresh and the flavors were amazing.

We had a very late dinner here before heading over to the Flats, and luckily they were able to seat us without a reservation. The inside decor is super cute and fancy, it almost feels like a club in there, except thankfully the music wasn't blaring. We were seated at a table in the back room, so it was a bit more secluded and quiet which was nice (the umbrellas on the ceiling decor was super cute as well). Staff member was quick to come around, but then it was a bit harder to flag them down since we were away from the regular dining area. They serve nigiri, sushi rolls, sashimi options, as well a mix of Japanese fusion entree items including a wagyu burger and a katsu sandwich. The drinks were really tasty and I really enjoyed the flying nimbus drink. The chef's choice sashimi platter came with 21 pieces at $85, which is a decent price, though I wished the waitress had explained what each piece of fish was -- we kind of guessed based on what we know (and it wasn't written on the menu either). We also got a few nigiris including the yellowtail, scallop and tuna. The scallop was my favorite, followed by yellowtail then tuna. Good size sashimi though not the cheapest sushi option. All in all, we enjoyed the ambiance and the drinks, the food was good but not mind-blowing or super special that you couldn't get elsewhere. Its location near the Flats may be a deciding favor though. I would come back again and try more of their huge drinks menu and maybe order a special roll that others have mentioned in their reviews. Parking might be tricky given the location!

Ambience: really cool interior with nice bar. Service: I sat at the bar for a quick bite. The bartender was really nice & friendly. She had good recommendations. Thy also had good seasonal sake selection, I got a cup for $5. - Mizumi roll: I love salmon and this was a good roll. Although I don't necessary like sauce on rolls this one had a bit of a nice sauce that didn't over-kill the fish.

Although you can hear every single conversation around you, it isn't a bother. Suggestion, play some cool Asian fusion music to enhance the experience. Our servers left something to be desired. The initial interaction with the lady serving bread only knew 3 words...bread, one or two. I wanted to communicate with her, but wearing an outdoor winter vest and her disconnected behavior canceled that attempt. Tyler was our server who we barely saw. I had to ask his name, and thats a pet peeve to start. He never cleared our bread and butter dishes ...also annoying to have dirty dishes in front of me...especially after I pushed them to the edge ... a clear indication to take it away. Now the food. My corn chicken chowder was served hot and creamy. Loved it. The spinach, mushroom and mozarella stuffed bacon wrapped chicken breast perched atop over cooked bok choy... laced atop bacon rice and surrounded by a 5spice seasoning was beautiful BUT overwhelming. The price was cool at $26 , however I doubt ANYONE can eat this serving. It would be better a smaller portion and lesser price. It was seriously enuf food for more than 2 people unless your just a gluten. I wish I had room for dessert because they all look like a work of art! Kudos but also let's be more reasonable. I may give it another try but probably for lunch. I dont eat that much!

Our server was friendly and asked if our food was alright when we were served. We didn't see her much after that. It seemed she was the only waitperson in the room and we were at the end of her list. I wanted another roll and had to flag down a bus person to ask for it. It arrived after I finished the meal, so I took it home with the leftovers. The food was beautifully presented and tasty. My steak was a little more than medium but still OK. The salads were huge and a shared portion was more than adequate. We split the mango cheesecake for desert. It was beautifully presented and dense, smooth and tasty. All in all, although not perfect, it was a good experience at a fair price.

We returned for dinner this time and we're really glad we did. If you head to Lee Rd in Cleveland Hts you will find several very good establishments south of Cedar Rd. But if you go a few blocks north of Cedar you will come upon a cute little stainless steel diner right out of the 1950's. You have arrived at "Abundance Culinary". Modern Chinese concept curated by Executive Chef Liu Fang. Upon entering we were greeted by a very kind and professional gentleman who immediately seated us at a comfortable table in the center of the restaurant where we were quickly greeted by Nathaniel, a marvelous young man with a ready smile and quick whit. He introduced himself, filled our water and introduced their sommelier. A pleasant woman with a friendly demeanor. She explained the evenings offerings without appearing condescending. Her suggestions were spot on. The staff worked together all evening like a fine tuned machine. At any moment someone would suddenly appear at our table to satisfy our every desire. Our meal started with the "Dumplings Variety Sampler" which gave us 2 of each of the available 4 different dumplings. They were an excellent start... flavorful, with just a touch of spice yet not too filling. I followed that with the "Lamb Shank" perfectly prepared and loaded with flavors. My wife & brother had the "Wagyu Xiao Chao Beef" which they said was excellent. My sister in law had the "Dan Dan Noodles" which was full of flavor but a little too spicy for her taste. We followed our meal with an excellent cup of coffee and the "Chinese Cobbler". It was a marvelous evening with exceptional service and wonderful food. We will definitely return and you should do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.
