The restaurant is beautiful but the food arrived cold but it was a beautiful presentation. Had to ask for water refills where other tables had a large bottle of water at their table. It was Valentines weekend and we went on Friday which means it wasn't crowded at 5:30 yet. We were the 2nd table seated and while there the host set next customers all in an arms reach. Where we could hear each other's conversations. She could have set us more apart I felt like especially when a family of four came in with two young kids, totally ruined the ambience of the restaurant being Valentine's Day eve. When the waitress approached our table, she would stand behind me and start to talk, and I had to turn around to look at her. She should have come to the center of the table, which had plenty of room to view both of us. Plus since she was standing behind me at first, I thought she was talking to another table. Came here the next Sunday after a great dining experience with a wonderful female server with short brunette hair last Sunday. She remembered what we ordered and that I didn't want simple syrup in my drink!!! Very impressive. Again the food was fantastic. My ginger pesto salmon had a perfectly lightly crunchy crust and fantastic whipped potatoes with flavorful colorful vegetables on the side. Super healthy and delicious. Love this place. It's been awhile since visiting Wild Mango, which was previously located at Great Northern in North Olmsted. The staff are top-notch and attentive. The restaurant is clean and is decorated with bench seating on fluffy pillows and looks like a high-end restaurant. Menu is reasonably priced and food is served fresh and perfect temperature. Honestly a very underrated restaurant in Crocker/Cleveland. First of all, interior is stunning. Not sure why people don't talk about this place more but maybe because it's towards the end of Crocker or people aren't familiar with the cuisine. The restaurant is Asian inspired American. Came here for dinner with a group of 6 Sunday evening. Minimal other people were there. Our server was fantastic!!!! So cute and funny with the right amount of attention and space. Food was a hit and miss. Food from all dishes were huge which is a plus and price is only middle point. Loved the complimentary bread and butter, soft with some sweetness. Friend wasn't impressed with chicken 3 ways, flavors were odd or needed more seasoning. The chicken wrapped in bacon was good, the fried rice it came with was BOMB. They should serve the fried rice as it's own separate dish. Duck was good, a tad dry ... the eggplant sauce was really good but a little too salty. Stars for the crème brûlée because it is quite is quite tasty. But that's the only good part about this place. The menu is not very inclusive to those who don't eat meat, among other things. There are a couple of meatless options (a couple of appetisers and salads, but nothing very filling or substantial), but I found them disappointing (I tried the goat cheese ravioli and eggplant; I do not enjoy salad so perhaps people who like salad would have a better experience). Admittedly, I only dined here to begin with because I was invited by someone else. But I had heard good things about their food, so it was very disappointing that they don't take care in their meatless dishes. Maybe I would go back for dessert only, but I would not dine here again with the current menu. Hopefully in the future they will have an inclusive menu, but until then I would not recommend this place to those with dietary restrictions (especially vegetarians and vegans). read more

I don't typically write reviews on here, I only check Yelp out for my food obsession to decide where I want to go. But this food was so incredible I have to give them props. After one bite of each item I was convinced this was the best meal I have eaten in a long time. The restaurant looks very classy and fancy. It says fine dining. But the prices are a little higher yet reasonable, which was refreshing because some restaurants are simply out of their minds for what they charge. I would have expected more by seeing the place and after eating the food, so kudos to them for that. The amount of food was great as well. They provide some pieces of bread before with honey sesame butter, unique and delicious. All the staff was very friendly, the food came out pretty fast. All around great experience. I will definitely be visiting more to try different menu items! Everything sounded delicious. read more

to begin, I would like to preface that me and my partner arrived an hour before they closed so it is possible we didn't get there best showing. but frankly even if it was just poor timing, we were met with a rushed poorly cooked and served meal which left me and my partner sick and hungry. we were not made aware of any allergens in the food nor were we asked if we had any allergies. the mustard seed in one of the dishes left my partner with hives. just as bad as lack of transparency is the duck breast was served with burned skin, a far overcooked center, and with a side of veg that tasted microwaved. I'm very disappointed especially after receiving a $100 dollar bill for hardly edible food. don't waste your time. you can do better for date night. read more

We had dinner here last night and sat at the bar. We ordered the Pepsi shrimp which were really good as an appetizer. For dinner, I had the seared scallops that had a crabmeat risotto, mushrooms and a to die for cream sauce. My date had the big eye tuna that also had the crabmeat risotto and cauliflower tempura. My glass of wine was excellent and a very generous pour. This place is beautiful and the food was absolutely outstanding! I wish I had taken pictures of the food. My favorite place is back, now at Crocker Park. Everything here is so tasty, go early for their fresh bread buns and whipped butter. You can never go wrong with the seafood bouillabaisse. I went to Wild Mango for my birthday dinner with a few friends, and was quite impressed. The restaurant is very spacious and upscale. Seating was comfortable, and even had pillows. Service was attentive and the food did not disappoint either. We started off with complementary bread and butter. They gave us two different types of bread, and the butter was sweet and good but nothing too special. I enjoyed the lychee cocktail I ordered, and I already felt the alcohol after drinking one glass. I tried my friend's peach mojito and it was fantastic. The iceberg wedge salad was on the dry side and just okay to me. The main star was my entrée, the sautéed sea scallops. The crabmeat risotto and vegetables that accompanied the dish were perfectly flavored. The portion sizes are huge and I had leftovers to bring home. My friends were also quite satisfied with their meals. I left feeling quite full and happy. Although the food is on the pricier side, I think you get your money's worth. Since it was my birthday, they also gave me a complementary slice of chocolate cake. It was a perfect way to end my meal. Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. We arrived at the restaurant around 12:30 and the restaurant was empty. Big red flag. The person who sat us at our table had zero personality and barely spoke to us. She had AirPods in her ears, so perhaps she was listening to music. The same person later ran by the table and dropped off a couple of dinner rolls and then approximately a minute later, she stopped back again and dropped off pats of butter and did not speak to us either time. A few minutes later, our server stopped by in an ill fitting polyester suit wearing bright blue surgical gloves. She wore surgical gloves the whole time she served us. Our food did arrive in a timely manner. The food was good, but really nothing to write home about. Water glasses were empty, but the server never stopped by to check on us. We paid our check and left. Same person at the front of the restaurant grunted at us as we left. It is not a restaurant we will go back to. read more

There are some nice restaurants in the suburbs, but they tend to be pretty routine in menu and presentation, even when relatively pricey and pretentious. So it was a wonderful surprise to visit Crocker Park and experience Wild Mango's non-routine menu, very fine preparation and plating, professional service - and prices not out of line with other nice suburban restaurants. This place is stunny as soon as you step in through the door. Service was very attentive. My party ordered the pepsi shrimp and chicken potstickers for apps - the shrimp and dipping sauce were delicious as well as the cuke/red pepper mix under it. The dumplings were lacking to me, it would have been better with a dipping sauce but these are not the best dumplings I've had at a restaurant. We were also given free bread and butter. I ordered the Asian Salmon Duo for my entree and I really enjoyed both but definitely preferred the teriyaki one. I love getting my veggies but I wasn't too fond of the sauteed vegetables as they didn't really have a taste to them. Boyfriend got the honey sesame glazed chicken which was delicious! 2 in my party had gotten the tenderloin and they loved. My boyfriend said he the tenderloin was better than his chicken. Table shared the 14 layer chocolate cake and creme brulee. The cake wasn't my favorite - was a little dry for my taste but had a strong cocoa flavor (I'm not too fond of strong cocoa flavor). The creme brulee tasted great! I loved the little spun sugar that they put on both and how it looked like copper wire on the creme brulee. read more

WOW! This place is awesome. The environment is amazing. I thought it there would be a dress code but there wasn't. The staff was cool and I asked several times were they sure there was no dress code. I felt out of place wearing crocs. The food was amazing. I ordered the Pepsi shrimp and they were so good. I ordered some more. The chicken pot stickers were good also. I got the chicken trio. So the drum stick was sitting on this green stuff. No clue what it was. Did a little taste test. And turns out it was mash potatoes lol the chicken breast that was wrapped in bacon was ok. It seems like the bacon could've been cooked longer but it seems like whenever bacon is wrapped it just doesn't come out well. So I don't knock them for that. Other than that. We've been coming here since they first opened years ago at Great Northern, but have only been at the Crocker Park location a few times. I am still stunned by the experience that we had there yesterday for lunch. We ordered the Chicken Potstickers as an appetizer and 10 minutes later, the food runner showed up with Pepsi Shrimp. When we told her that we didn't order shrimp, she actually rolled her eyes, didn't say one thing, and left. Within a minute our server showed up and rudely stated, "I heard you say Pepsi Shrimp"! We were surprised to be reprimanded by our waiter. Neither of us eats shrimp, so there is no chance that we would ever order it. I've spent 40 years in the restaurant industry and never would I confront a customer about an incorrect order. I was so taken aback that we hurried through the rest of the meal and left. Our entire experience was negatively affected by this arrogance. read more

We watched two other tables sit and receive their meal before us (party of 4s, while we were a 3). I did ask our server at one point and we were told "very soon, the kitchen is exhausted". It is Mother's Day, we sat down at 6:30. There are numerous empty tables, there is no wait at the door. When our food did come my husband's meal was completely cold. Our server never came back to ask how the meal even was so we could get his meal heated. He ordered the chicken trio--mashed potato's were cold, the chicken drumstick tasted like it had been double fried to heat back up, the chicken cake was completely cold. I ordered the scallops--prepared correctly and flavorful. Our other guest ordered the shrimp--tasted fine. None of the food knocked my socks off (hot or cold). We won't go back, there are so many better restaurants in the area. read more

This is one of my favorite lunch spots. I loved it when it was at Great Northern & now located at Crocker Park. I describe it as casual elegance. My go to meal is the scallops with risotto and that creamy mushroom sauce! Yum!!! The calamari is so good too! It's an impressive spot to take guests from out of town for an artful meal. The service is professional, however they seem to run slow lately, so plan extra time. They also seem to frown upon walk ins, so calling in a rezo is a good idea. Also, I believe in small print it states there is an additional charge when using a credit card...just fyi. read more

As entrees we had the salmon duo, filet and the scallops. Again, all entrees were outstanding! The restaurant wasn't very busy, which I don't understand, due to the quality of food they present. The portions were very generous. I do not review a restaurant due to large portions as I am all about the quality of the food. This review is based on the quality of the food. Friendly and polite added for a positive experience! The table had very lush pillows to support my back how thoughtful! The seafood steamer was plentiful and delicious! The potstickers were delicious and lively with ginger. The Cesar salad was just more than lettuce on a plate lots of taste. Both entrees were plated beautifully and the Duck was very delicious and plentiful. Sweet potato was also tasty. The chicken was wrapped with bacon, stuffed with cheese spinach and mushrooms. This place never disappoints. We used to go to Wild mango in North olmsted and found out by some friends they are in Crocker park. The ambiance in this place is beautiful. My husband made reservations and we were joined with our friends. It was such a great time and the food all around was scrumptious.
