So, I've been making my way around a few Happy Hour spots lately, and while I was in the neighborhood, I decided to stop by Kitchen Social. What a pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a bright, airy atmosphere that feels welcoming even on a slightly cloudy day. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Their Happy Hour menu offered several tempting options, and we sampled a variety of dishes. We started with the Crispy Thai Shrimp, which delivered the perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Kitchen Social is known for its artisan dough pizzas, so we ordered the mushroom pizza, and it certainly did not disappoint. We also tried the Korean BBQ Cauliflower and the Shrimp & Grits...both flavorful and well executed. Since it was Happy Hour, we naturally enjoyed a few cocktails to accompany the meal. We sampled both the Maple Old Fashioned and the traditional Old Fashioned, then ventured a bit further with the Tequila Thyme and the Sangria. Each cocktail was well crafted and enjoyable in its own right. Best of all, because it was Happy Hour, the experience was easy on the wallet. Stopping in for a quick Sunday lunch and had the Pimento Cheeseburger and it was delicious. Served at the bar very promptly and I had the Berry Vodka cooler cocktail as the selection of beer was very limited on IPAs. I'd come back here again but hope that they can add some more local beers to their repertoire soon. read more

Kitchen Social is a great option if you're looking for a lively dinner spot with excellent drinks and creative appetizers. It's almost always busy, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation if you're planning to go on a weekend. Without one, you're probably waiting for a seat at the bar, and getting a table can be difficult. The atmosphere is fun and energetic, but it can get pretty loud once the restaurant fills up. Service has been consistently attentive, and the food comes out surprisingly quickly, even when they're packed. The appetizers have been the highlight every time we've visited. We've tried quite a few of them, and the Korean BBQ cauliflower, whipped feta with toasted bread, and street corn nachos are all standouts that I'd happily order again. The cocktail menu is also excellent. The entrées have been a little more hit or miss. The chicken dishes have always been very good, while some of the other options haven't been quite as memorable. Nothing has been bad, just not everything has lived up to how strong the appetizers are. Overall, Kitchen Social is worth checking out, especially if you're going with friends or for date night. This is a solid place to grab dinner with a friend. We came here for dinner midweek around 6 and it was already getting quite full. Given how much of a large open space this is, it does get quite loud. The kitchen is open so you can see them make the food which is always interesting. My friend opted for the crispy chicken salad and I opted for my once-in-a-blue-moon burger, specifically the double stack burger. Both were solid choices with no complaints here. Their menu in general had some interesting flavors so I'm interested to come back and try more. read more

Having first gone to the restaurant in Sarasota we had to try it here. It is VERY loud during happy hour (their happy hour menu is FABULOUS) and you can't get a seat unless you're there early! The food is great, my husband said not quite as good as Sarasota but very good. I hear complaints that the seating is not very comfortable....I guess I get that but not a reason to not go there. Love the place! Love the garage doors that can be open in good weather. Highly recommend. read more

Loved everything about Kitchen Social! The restaurant is beautiful, super clean, open and inviting. They have a full bar you can sit at, as well as many tables and booths. I shared several appetizers with my daughter and every single bite was fresh and delicious, we loved it all. I love the food choices. Such a range from eggplant meatballs (yummy) to blackened fish tacos, which the seasoning was perfect! The choice of corn or flour shells is a huge plus. The shrimp appetizer is sooo delicious! Highly recommend, nicest servers! read more

American food with an Asian flair Highly recommend making reservations. We went on a Friday and it was very busy. Since we had a reservation we were seated quickly. Lynn was our server and she was great. Friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. I tried the shrimp and grits and the bbq cauliflower. Both had great sauces and were delicious. A friend from Dayton recommended this place and we were pleased to see that there was a location around where we were staying. We've never heard of it before but it looks like it's a small chain of a lot of the modern American fair that is popping up these days. We got in around 7:00 on a Saturday evening without any reservations needed but it was pretty busy. Our waiter was super friendly and overall the place looked clean and vibrating! My husband and I shared the cheddar and scallion biscuits appetizer. This was excellent! It was pretty cheap and it was so darn good. The butter they gave even made it better. Definitely worth getting every single time! We both ended up having the pimento cheeseburger because it just looked so good. And it was! Literally one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The pimento cheese with the perfectly cooked burger and the candied bacon just made it so darn good. Five stars for sure! read more

I have been there several times since opening. The food is fresh, innovative, and delicious. The menu is diverse and gives the diner some flexibility to choose some tweaks to their order. There is a variety of fresh, delicious salads with options to customize with different protein's. My sister and I ordered different salads with grilled salmon. She likes hers well done and I like med rare. They both came out perfect to our tastes and were wonderful. The manager actually sat with us to make sure everything was as we ordered and we were satisfied. My only regret; I love this place. Unfortunately do not get out often. I frequently order from online food deliveries. Unfortunately, this establishment does not accept delivery orders. . I hope that this changes eventually so that more people who cannot get out often can still enjoy their exquisite food. read more

Grabbed dinner here on a Saturday night with my husband. We did not have a reservation and the wait was 45 mins so we decided to wait out some seats at the bar. We snagged a seat in about 5 mins as the bar is huge and there is a ton of seating. The food was great! We started with the chips, queso, and guac. It was tasty. We walked into Kitchen Social around 7pm on a Friday night and was lucky enough to snag 2 bar seats! We ordered two cocktails, I got the passionfruit cocktail and my Fiance got the old fashioned. I thought my cocktail was fairly well balanced but on the sweeter side for sure. I really wanted to try their eggplant meatballs but unfortunately they were already sold out! So we got their famous biscuits and fried shrimp appetizer. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming. The biscuits were very greasy and the shrimp was again nothing to write home about. WHERE DO I BEGIN!!!! This place was so beyond wonderful! We came after work for dinner and some drinks! We got sat right away and our waitress Natalie was so so so sweet! She made sure we were well taken care of and knew everything about the menu! For drinks I got the Forget Me Not, which was so good it could be dangerous drinking those all night! My friend got the Spicy Daze Marg, which she got two of because they were so good, not so spicy that you need to chug water and the tajin rim brings it all together! We started off with the whipped feta and OMG was it delicious, even without the bread we tried the feta and it was so so good! For dinner, I got the fish and chips, which was a huge portion (good for an after work empty belly)! After squeezing the lemon on my fish, the homemade tartar sauce brought the whole dish together, I even finished it with my fries/chips it was so delicious! My friend go the grilled chicken tacos with some chips and salsa and he said they did not disappoint! All the flavors paired well together and he only wished he had more to eat! My other friend got the Margherita pizza and added pepperoni on it! (Our server told us that they make the dough homemade every day!) They also make everything to order so you can pretty much customize your dishes to your needs/wants. My friend ate all but 2 pieces of her pizza and said it was one of the best pizzas she's had! I 1000% recommend giving this place a try! The restaurant itself is beautiful and even has an outdoor/indoor bar! This place would be perfect for a date, happy hour (all apps are 1/2 off), a birthday dinner, or like we did-dinner and drinks after work! This was our first visit to Kitchen Social and we were so happy we stopped in! Our server, Alyssa, was so patient with us and happily helped with our food choices. We started with the champagne flight and bloody Mary, both which were very good. We tried the shrimp 'n grits and breakfast taco, both delicious but the shrimp 'n grits won out! Our food arrived quickly (almost a little too fast to be able to enjoy our brunch drinks), but we appreciated the efficiency especially because they were very busy for Saturday brunch. We also really appreciated the manager, Nick, who made it a point to come to our table to greet us and be sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Lynne made several recommendations and checked back with us with perfect timing and the managers were extremely helpful and friendly and also checked in on us. The food was the perfect portion and the perfect temperature and presentation and delicious. We had virtually no wait time we did make reservations however but the seating was comfortable.
