My daughter and I went there for brunch. We were seated at a comfortable table and had friendly service. That's where the "good" ends. Our appetizer arrived soon enough but we'd gotten one bite each before our meals arrived. Needless to say that was far too fast. My daughter's eggs were clearly powdered (trust me, I was in the army and KNOW powdered eggs). Our potatoes were dry as all get-out, and my plate was made of wood that clearly had been warped by the dishwasher. My fork would cause my plate to seesaw and food to roll off the plate, so I had to use one hand to eat and another to keep the plate still. My daughter's eggs had a hair in them and my breakfast tacos also had a hair in one of them. Edit: last thing I forgot - my daughter ordered an orange juice and each time it came (and the refills) the small cup was half full. Two normal sips and it was gone. This was a poor experience that my daughter and I both rated 4.4/10. We will not return. read more

I stopped in for lunch and there were a couple tables open and several high top tables in the bar area, which is where I was seated. I felt cramped because there was little room between the bar and my table but since I was alone it made sense not to take a large table for myself. There were many menu choices with something for everyone. Although there were no "daily specials" but it was easy to find something on the menu. I had the fish and chips (fries) that was served hot and just the right amount of breading. Fries were freshly cooked and cole slaw was good. A good combination of savory (cheddar cheese) and sweet honey butter with a little crystal sugar on the top crust. We had the hot chicken platter - slight spice in the batter, great hot honey, fries and a little bite to the Cole slaw. Very good. And then we had their butter cake for dessert. Amazing service from the second we were greeted at the door to the second we were leaving. Hostesses were all smiles, wait staff all smiles and welcoming as we passed and made our way to our table, and the Service Manager, Bill, was excellent at his position. Our server (I didn't catch his name, but he said he's originally from Macedonia) was one of the best we've ever experienced, quite frankly, and never let our water glasses/drinks drop below half capacity until all plates were cleared at the end of the meal. A small sign of an excellent server. The ambience definitely encourages what it says: "Social." Not much to absorb sound, so it's definitely more on the loud side, but you certainly feel like everyone is gathered at a beautiful kitchen hanging out and enjoying themselves. You could obviously wear whatever, but highly recommend business casual. They treat you very well here, and dressing for such would be appropriate. It was a rainy day when we went, but the entire windowed-wall we sat by appeared to be a roll-up door that could quickly transform the place to lovely indoor/outdoor eating on a sunny day. Lastly, the food was truly cooked to perfection. My husband had the Fish & Chips, I had the Honey Miso Cod, and our children had burgers.
