Visited Sakura buffet recently. I had dined at the Double Dragon Buffet for over 20 years before it went out of business. I looked forward to another Asian buffet opening at this location. Upon arrival, we inspected the interior of the building. There were many similarities to the layout of the previous buffet that was here. The entrance has been remodeled and the center of the restaurant is mostly an aisle now. The buffets themselves were basically the same. While they did change some things with the building, there were still a lot of remnants of the old restaurant, which means they did not perform a full remodel. Noteably, the ceiling tiles looked a little rough. Concerning the food, it was pretty good. They offered a lot of the same dishes that we've come to expect at an Asian buffet. Green beans, chicken on a stick, fried rice, veggies, sushi, mushrooms, numerous steak and chicken dishes, and ice cream all were featured at the buffet. The food was good, but not great. The price was also fair. The service was fast and friendly. Because it's a 30-minute drive, I don't think we'll visit very often. There are at least two other Asian buffets within 15 minutes of this one. Good stuff.

I came here the other week for the first time, and I left with a full and happy belly. When I walked in, I noticed the pretty decor. On Sundays, the restaurant serves all-day dinner for $19.99 per adult before tax. In my opinion, my meal was well worth the money. Sakura had the usual Chinese-American staples: lo mein, Chinese donuts, fried rice, etc. The restaurant also had a decent seafood spread including but not limited to several sushi rolls, sashimi, mussels, clams, and raw oysters. I thought everything was fresh and delicious (especially the sushi and sashimi), save for the raw oysters, which I was a bit skeptical about. But I ate a few oysters and didn't get sick afterwards, so maybe I just didn't care for these particular oysters. In addition to the buffet, the restaurant had made-to-order hibachi and ramen stations. I was especially stoked to see the ramen station, and my bowl of ramen was tasty and came out piping hot. Perfect for the winter weather! For dessert, I had lots of fruit, a few scrumptious little pieces of cake, and a cup of strawberry ice cream. To my surprise, the fruit bar really impressed me. I'm used to buffets pretty much just having subpar melon and canned pineapple as fruit options, but Sakura, in addition to the standard cantaloupe and honeydew, had lychee, big juicy grapes, and kiwi. The lychee was average but not bad. However, the grapes and kiwis were so fresh and sweet. The service was OK. The staff was quick to clear plates, not so much with drink refills. But it wasn't slow enough to deter me from planning my next visit.

I liked the food but was hoping they would have crab legs. The one they did have are good with thick gooey sauce. The service is good. The restaurant and food appeared clean. The food variety is good. I would revisit.

I've never had Indian food before, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect or what to order--but everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is very welcoming and fun, making it a great spot to try something new. For appetizers, we had Lasuni Gobi, which is crispy cauliflower tossed in a garlic chili sauce with bold Indo-Chinese flavors. It was really tasty, though definitely on the spicier side. We also tried the Vegetable Samosa, the crispy pastry with spiced potatoes was really interesting burst of flavor. For our main meal, we went with Chicken Tikka Masala, which was grilled chicken in a creamy tomato sauce with aromatic Indian spices. Paired with Garlic Naan and served with a side of rice, it was absolutely comforting and flavorful. Everything we tried was fantastic, and the staff were welcoming and helpful, especially since it was my first time trying Indian cuisine. Our server was very attentive and helpful with suggestions on what to order. Marsala Monsoon is definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're curious about Indian food or just want a fun, flavorful meal!

This year's birthday outing took us to northern shores, thundering waterfalls and Masala Monsoon! We arrived hungry after hiking at CVNP. Very strikingly pretty decor! We loved the free crunchy snacks and fresh mint chutney. We started with the Lasuni Gobi appetizer, a fried cauliflower in chili sauce that rocked both our worlds. We wanted to try the Velvet Broccoli, another vegetarian dish, but alas it somehow came contaminated with chicken. Thankfully, the staff rectified the situation and we got a second order of the incredible Lasuni Gobi instead. I had a new-to-me curry, the Lababdar paneer, which was utterly delicious and perfectly spiced. We shared the bread basket and bestie had a mild veggie curry. We were treated to the Gulab jamun for dessert on the house. Love the romantic decor, awesome grub and friendly helpful service. We will be back!

This meant that I was able to eat the traditional Korean New Year's Soup for good luck, health, and happiness. I had always ordered other soups, but what I love about this place is the consistency of always having the soups come out exactly the same. I stopped by again this New Year, and the gentleman who served us is always focused to ensure everything was aligned and served well. The banchan (side dishes) were always filled when needed. The calm but filled restaurant shows that this is truly a staple in the Parma area, and it was such a pleasant "taste of home" for someone who is half Korean. You know it slaps when the parking lot is filled, and their phones are ringing non-stop. The culture the restaurant brings also invites locals who are trying Korean food for the first time. I truly admire how the place represents that it's owned by hard working people who extend the value of our community.

The food was really good, though I was a little upset that they didn't have tofu available when I went, even though the online menu said otherwise. Still, everything else hit the spot. If you're looking for authentic Korean vibes, this is the place to go.

**This review is based on a pick-up order.**…read more I called in this order, and the lady who took the call was quick and polite. Plus, the order was correct, so she was accurate too. Always a good thing. The food, however, was a mixed bag. First, I ordered beef and snow peas (I asked for it to be spicy), and the dish was among the best I've had in a long time. The peas were crunchy; the beef was melty; and the sauce was rich -- and spicy, just as I requested. Because I don't eat a ton, I ordered the upgrade (to fried rice, wonton soup and an egg roll) to share. Meh. The broth was nice, but there really weren't wontons in it. Rather, they were ribbons of way overcooked pasta. Not a deal-breaker, but nothing memorable. The egg roll was the typical freezer-to-fryer variety. Not terrible, but hardly plump and definitely not rolled in-house like the good ol' days. Finally, the fried rice is missing something. Not only do I believe that it was never cooked in a wok, but it also had a scant flavor of sesame oil and little else. I'm not usually one to tell people how to do their business. This time is different though, since I am not the only one to mention the bland 'fried' rice here. Use some soy sauce. Use the wok -- and not the microwave. And perhaps, use an egg and a little garlic. But hey! These guys have been in business for a minute, so we 'fried' rice detractors must be in the minority. All of that to say, this place does an outstanding job with the beef and snow peas. But next time -- if there is a next time (I live in Houston) -- I'll ask for the steamed rice and dress it myself.

Both were excellent as well as the bread (served warm) & butter. The only problem I had was I ordered the cherry strudel to go and didn't take a good look at it. When I got home, they must have warmed it because it was soggy and moist instead of crispy AND the top was burnt. Certainly NOT worth the $7/slice. Not sure, but I think I counted MAYBE 3 cherries that were smooshed and looked like the cherries forgot to be added and it was so thin too. Not anything I would imagine strudel to look like, AND it was nothing like the picture on the menu. So be warned, if you go there for dinner, food is well worth the price but please, stay away from the strudel dessert. Take a chance and go with something else.
