I got the butter chicken ($17.99), and my friend and I split the masala dosa ($14.99). The butter chicken had a rich, creamy, flavorful sauce, and the pieces of chicken were tender. I ordered the dish with a mild level of spice, and it was perfect for my tastebuds. The chicken was served with a bowl of basmati rice, and I thought it made for a filling, satisfying dinner. The masala dosa was also delicious. The slightly tangy crepe had crispy edges while also being pleasantly soft and spongey. It was filled with well-seasoned potato masala and served with some delightful sauces. Service was a bit on the slow side, but the staff was friendly and kind enough to give us a complimentary refill of rice. We paid our bill at the front desk when we were done. read more

The food was delicious!! They have plenty of options for vegans and non-vegans alike. Vast menu and a lot to choose from. This was my first time there but I will definitely be back to try more food. The service was decent. The place is huge and there were a lot of people there dining in which was great because we didn't have to wait at all to get our table. Just a heads up there is an event/party space right next door. When we went there was a full on party happening which was reverberating through the wall into paradise. My friend took me and treated me so I cannot speak to price. However I can speak to the quick service, clean interior and good food we got! Awesome experience! We drove a bit out of our way to Paradise Biriyani since we heard great things about it, and we were not disappointed. When we walked in, the space was huge and pretty empty, which was off-putting at first. However, it helped us get our food quickly, and we were instantly satisfied. Chole bhatura: the dough was thicker than I might have liked, but was appropriately puffy, and the chickpeas were cooked perfectly although in a thicker sauce than I'm used to. I entered the restaurant to pick up takeout through an open, unlocked door. No staff stopped me and I did not see any visible sign stating customers were not allowed inside. Plus no one was even around and I was confused that no one was helping me. They made me walk around the back in the freezing cold to go back to my car and get my food from the front door. I was later contacted by the owner and blamed for construction damage to the floor, with claims of significant cost and demands for an apology. This was upsetting and completely inappropriate. I ordered the tiki marsala with medium heat and my mom got the tandoori chicken and we told the waitress she can't have any heat. Well mine was good but I didn't think they added the heat to it. My moms was so spicy no one could eat it. Plus for $15 it was 2 itsy bitsy pieces of legs and thighs. That was it, she got no rice. My meal was good at least. It only had a piece of pepper and 3 pieces cubed chicken. We spoke to waitress thinking they messed up since my mom's was super spicey and mine had no spice but she said it was correct. Nothing like going to a restaurant for the first time and getting a filthy water glass. If you can't even get something as simple as a glass of water right, what is your purpose? The food wasn't terrible but I've been to much better Indian restaurants where the flavors are a lot bolder. This was sort of bland. If you want takeout containers for leftovers, that's going to be 10 minutes. If you want your check that's another 10 at least. So upon finishing our food we were still there for another 20 minutes for no good reason. This place used to be Six Flavors of India and it was a total wreck back then. Our Memorial Day dinner at Paradise Biryani was one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had. We came in as a large group, expecting to enjoy a meal together, but were met with hostility and zero effort to accommodate us. Instead of helping us find seating, the staff acted like we were a burden. The worst part? One short lady working there raised her voice at us and started a full-blown argument in front of everyone. It was loud, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. We were shocked by how disrespectfully we were treated. To make it even more outrageous, we heard staff speaking in another language and laughing--clearly making rude comments about us behind our backs. That kind of behavior is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable in any restaurant. This place clearly doesn't care about customer service, respect, or basic decency. I will never step foot in this restaurant again, and I'll be telling everyone I know to avoid it too. Paradise Biryani? More like a nightmare. read more

First time at the Parma location. Recommended by a friend who just got back from India. Ordered the delicious and HUGE Dosa, which was thin and crispy. A chicken biryani dish, which was spicy and filled with a lot of meat. Chicken Korma was also very good. One of the best that I've had in Ohio. The menu is large and everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. Waitress was also very helpful with recommendations. Last time I had great Indian food was in Jackson Pointe in NYC. My GF ordered this, and she liked it. Hers was NOT spicy like the way that she ordered. They all had a fried pakora (I believe), and I didn't try it, but they said it was really good. The samosas were very good, and the mixed drinks that we had were good. I had a 22 oz. serving of Indian beer (the beer and other alcoholic drinks aren't part of my scoring). Others had dosa, and I tried some saambaar. It was all stellar. For my order, I had the KOTTHU PARATHA (sp?). It was great. Enjoyed my meal intensely. My wife and I ordered several appetizers and an entree along with two orders of Naan, the pepper cheese and the garlic pepper Naan. They were both spicy and savory but the cheese Naan was sooooo chewy and flavorful I'd highly recommend. We ordered the goat suhka appetizer and it was so wonderfully greasy, tender and spicy!! The flavors were like a well done Oso Buco, just bone in tender fall apart meat. We also ordered the chicken 65 app. First of all quite a big portion. Lightly breaded, fried, and coated in spices. I was a fan but not as much as the goat considering the chicken was a bit dry and the goat was so tender and moist. We also ordered two desserts, the bread pudding and another dish that was condensed milk Balls, in syrup. Both were good but man was that bread pudding flavorful. I was so excited to see this location for Paradise Biriyani. I love the one in Gates Mills. It's a very large restaurant with enough space to seat for over 100 (after Covid). They do have eat in dining, we got take out. The food....AMAZING. We got Goat Kurma, two types of Gobi (cauliflower), Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan. All excellent. Just as good as the other location. Recently and gorgeously renovated with food that will knock your socks all the way to New Delhi! (whispers... that's in India) This gem used to be called 6 Flavors and it was very good back then. They went through a little struggle during their transition, but I dare say it ended up being an evolution into Paradise Biryani Pointe. A buddy and I went recently one evening for dinner and we were greeted immediately and offered a seat closest to the kitchen. All of their tables are spread apart plenty for current restaurant regulations, so there was zero concern there. We were brought water in these really cool curved glasses immediately and shown the QR Code to get to their menu. The only problem we encountered was the fact that this menu would not load on either of our devices, but it was easy enough to get a menu from the Google. Hehehe. We ordered mango lassi, chicken 65 appetizer, some garlic naan, and meals of butter chicken and goat Rogan Josh over an aromatic basmati rice. Oh and an order of Palak Goat to go for my son. The chicken 65 was simply amazing and the mango lassi helped with some of the heat. We got mild, but we're both wusses when it comes to heat. Hahaha! Trust me, it was the perfect amount of heat. The meals were simply fantastic and I had plenty left over to make another meal the next day as well. He did not, but he's a pig, sooooo... Haha! My son also enjoyed his Palak Goat. The service was great and I love having this go-to spot for awesome Indian food so close to home. We will be back for certain. Visited the restaurant this past week with our friends. Food was excellent. The decor is simple and yet elegant and enhances an open look. We were greeted quickly by hostess and shown to our table. Waitress was friendly and polite, but did miss one order. We will return. However some suggestions for them to improve customer experience. They must clear the tables promptly- our table was not cleared even when we paid the bill and left. I noticed some of the waiters and busboys talking and texting on their cellphones. They should not do that , at least in the presence of customers. Another thing- they do not have all items on the menu available. Second time in last 6 weeks we were told several items on menu were not available. All in all- a good restaurant with excellent food and fair service. I'm so glad I wasn't scared off by the poor reviews. I've ordered takeout from here 3 times in the last few months and have had a good experience every time. The food has been incredible, it's ready in 20 min, and our order is always accurate. We usually order the chicken vindaloo and the chicken kurma (not korma, it's different) with some naan. One time we asked for really, really extra spicy and it about killed us it was so hot. So we keep it to just regular hot from now on haha. But we appreciated that experience nonetheless because their is nothing worse then asking for extra hot and it comes out mild. This will continue to be our go-to Indian restaurant in Cleveland. They serve little sharp bones in the meat (that would not normally have any bones), which is very dangerous if you don't know it's coming, they think "as mild as possible" means 2 or 3 out of 5 on the hot scale, had to send food back to replace, they charge a credit card fee even when you pay with cash (had to point out that they owe us more change back), very slow & impolite service. What is this place anyways? How are they in business? I've been there twice and ordered take out twice and there's never any customers but the dining room is HUGE. I will never go back. read more

Honestly this place has mixed reviews but it seemed like most of the low reviews has to do with service. Coming from Orange County, CA - I am very familiar with and comfortable with this type of service.. it is not uncommon and is part of the price of experiencing authentic cultural cuisine. The place itself is actually nicer looking and fancier/bigger than I expected, but definitely had an interesting atmosphere with the decor choices. The service was not the fastest, the workers may not be completely fluent in English, and the food did not come out "hot". However I don't like to burn my mouth eating anyway, and the servers were very kind! The food itself was delicious! It was my first time trying these new dishes and I thoroughly enjoyed them. We ordered three dishes for the two of us. The dosa came with three different chutneys and a sambar. The middle chutney was my favorite, but honestly they were all delicious. The dosa was nice and crispy. The sambar tasted almost like a bean based soup. The idli came with the same sambar sauce, but it was so good we ate it all. We also always ask for a recommendation and our server recommended the Szechuan noodles - which I was a little hesitant since I didn't think Szechuan was an Indian dish but I looked it up and it is a very popular Indo Chinese dish! Very unique from the noodle dishes I have tasted in my life time (trust me that's a lot). A little on the salty side but that did not stop us from clearing our plate.
