Placed order for Benne Dosa from this menu
    Gaurav P.

I ordered Benne Dosa from the given menu at restaurant which clearly mention potato and podi stuffing. It took 35 minutes to get the order with only 3 tables occupied . When the order was received it did not any potato stuffing. When we asked the restaurant, the reason was given i need to specify that i need potato? When why does your menu is having as ingredient mentioned and later boiled potato was given on sides saying next time we need to specify items.

Left over dabang dosa and special sandwich.

Food was super good and authentic. Almost everyone eating here is Indian- That's a good sign. Portions were large and flavors were very good. Had the honest special sandwich and dabang dosa. I would order both again.

Decent vegetarian food in Cleveland. This is a part of the chain of Honest restaurants all over the country. We ordered the vada pav, kachori chaat, honest special pav bhaji, Mysore sada dosa, masala dosa and jaljeera. The vada pav was very good and authentic to what I've been used to back home in India. The dosas were good too. The Honest special pav bhaji had too many raisins and was on the sweeter side even though I had asked for a spicy version. The kachori chaat was just ok. The jaljeera was a little artificial tasting as compared to what I have in India. The service was quick. They were nice but overtly pleasant. The ambiance is very simple. There is a parking lot outside, which is nice. If you are wanting Indian vegetarian food without a lot of frills, this is the place. Don't expect to get fancy food or service when you come here.

First time visit. We like Indian cuisine, and the food is delicious here. The variety is excellent. The staff is courteous and prompt. Pleasant dining experience. We are not vegan or vegetarian, but the flavor that Hones-T infuses in the menu makes meat or poultry unnecessary. We now have a go to place for Indian food.

This was my first time here. I was in search for vegetarian food and found this place. The food was amazing; I enjoyed the flavors of the spices. The dish was filling. The ambiance was family friendly and clean. I would eat here again and recommend to others. The service was okay but could have been better.

We almost didn't find this place because it gives off a breakfast chain vibe from the outside. I liked the sea foam green booths and chairs and the wallpaper was really nice. Place looked clean. The food we ordered was delicious and I made a point to order things we normally would get at our local Indian restaurant. We ordered Sev Puri, my favorite and something i would order again. It was the perfect app, light and refreshing and packed with flavor. Up next was the Veg Jaipur curry. We ordered it medium and it was seasoned perfectly. Spicy but not overwhelming and full of flavor. We also ordered the Spring Dosa, unfortunately I thought the menu meant it was vegan as is not that I had to request it vegan. It came with cheese on it. My wife didn't mind and enjoyed a couple pieces then we packed the rest to take home for our kids. They all enjoyed it. Roti and naan we also had and enjoyed as well as a chai tea for my wife on the way out. Everything was great. What I want to point out is the dishes marked as vegan aren't necessarily already vegan, you need to ask. I didn't and ended up with a dish I wanted to try. It couldn't. The only thing I would give a negative comment about was the disposable plates and cups. It cheapened the feel a bit. Maybe that's why the prices are reasonable? I really liked this place and will definitely go back to try other things there.

All vegetarian Indian restaurant. Food was excellent. It does get busy, but they are efficient with seating people, and food is brought out quickly. Sit down, but casual ambiance. We ordered an assortment of items. Highly recommend palak paneer - it was low in salt for our taste, but easily fixed. Also very much enjoyed bahubali sandwich. Would pass on the onion Rava dosa Definitely recommend, and will be returning

Honestly this is one of the few Indian places that has some real good authentic Indian spices and flavors, oh and they're purely vegetarian. My favorite things to eat here are - Manchow Soup, all of their dosa varieties, vada pav, pav bhaji, most of their chaat items ( Chinese bhel, sev puri, Pani puri), noodles and Manchurian (both dry and gravy). The place is huge yet simple, they're usually pretty busy so I prefer to order takeout instead. Once you get your orders in the service is pretty quick though. The only thing I was disappointed with was Shrikhand - which is a sweet; hung yogurt mixed with nuts flavoured with cardamom and saffron. It was neither sweet jor had flavors of cardamom or saffron. But overall I do like their food and one of my to go Indian food places especially when I'm craving pure Indian flavors s.

Great spot for vegetarians. Selection for food and dessert is great and very affordable compared to other Indian restaurants in the area or Cleveland! Service was good and service was quick!

Fresh, authentic Indian street food. Honest offers a myriad of Indian cuisines. There's plenty of South Indian, North Indian as well as street food options. The serves was quick and the waiter was very attentive to our large party. We all had fun and can't wait to come back to this restaurant

I got take out from here earlier this week and it was absolutely delicious! I tried the honest Thali so I could get a taste of some of their curries and other items and it was phenomenal. There was so much food, I actually got 2 meals out of it! I didn't dine in but when I did go in to pick up my order the entire restaurant smelled amazing and looked so bright and welcoming inside. I will definitely be back!

I've never had Indian food before, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect or what to order--but everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is very welcoming and fun, making it a great spot to try something new. For appetizers, we had Lasuni Gobi, which is crispy cauliflower tossed in a garlic chili sauce with bold Indo-Chinese flavors. It was really tasty, though definitely on the spicier side. We also tried the Vegetable Samosa, the crispy pastry with spiced potatoes was really interesting burst of flavor. For our main meal, we went with Chicken Tikka Masala, which was grilled chicken in a creamy tomato sauce with aromatic Indian spices. Paired with Garlic Naan and served with a side of rice, it was absolutely comforting and flavorful. Everything we tried was fantastic, and the staff were welcoming and helpful, especially since it was my first time trying Indian cuisine. Our server was very attentive and helpful with suggestions on what to order. Marsala Monsoon is definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're curious about Indian food or just want a fun, flavorful meal!

This year's birthday outing took us to northern shores, thundering waterfalls and Masala Monsoon! We arrived hungry after hiking at CVNP. Very strikingly pretty decor! We loved the free crunchy snacks and fresh mint chutney. We started with the Lasuni Gobi appetizer, a fried cauliflower in chili sauce that rocked both our worlds. We wanted to try the Velvet Broccoli, another vegetarian dish, but alas it somehow came contaminated with chicken. Thankfully, the staff rectified the situation and we got a second order of the incredible Lasuni Gobi instead. I had a new-to-me curry, the Lababdar paneer, which was utterly delicious and perfectly spiced. We shared the bread basket and bestie had a mild veggie curry. We were treated to the Gulab jamun for dessert on the house. Love the romantic decor, awesome grub and friendly helpful service. We will be back!

We are big fans, and owners of the Royal Enfield brand of motorcycle, which had a large display at the show, and was really the main reason why we drove to the show from Pittsburgh. After the show, we wanted to get something to eat, and I suggested Indian, so we did a Yelp search and the second listing to come up was called "Chennai Delicacy" . . . and believe it or not, the city of Chennai, in India, just so happens to be where the Royal Enfield motorcycles are produced, and where our bikes were made (Crazy coincidence huh?). So we felt like it was almost our destiny to eat here. I called them on the phone just to make sure they were open, and the owner told me, that they were not really a full-service restaurant, but they had some tables and we could eat there if we wanted. He also said . . . "We are not a fancy place, but the food is really good," and that is exactly what we found . . . a small take-out counter, that had food packaged to go, not very fancy, but the food was really good (it was heated up in plastic containers and served with plastic utensils and disposable plates). The owner was so nice when we arrived, he told us about how he makes everything homemade, and that everything is very healthy. He explained the dishes on the menu. My friends went with chicken dishes (Masala and Butter) and I wanted to try something a little bit different, so I asked about the "Moong Kootu," which happened to be a vegan dish, made from Lentils (Dal), and it was really good, a bit on the spicy side, but not super spicy. We also shared an order of bread (Methi flavored), and everyone liked their food. We talked to the owner, and he told us a little bit about his restaurant, how he does a lot of catering to hospitals and other businesses, and also where he was from in India, and I spoke a little bit to him in Hindi also (I am currently learning it). The food was delicious, I am giving four stars, because I am a big fan of the food, and I enjoyed talking to the owner. Cheers!

When we arrived at 8:15 (they close at 9) on a Saturday night, there were only two other tables of people dining, but in the next half hour, three more tables came in. The space is quite plain (little decor), with wood tables, a tv playing an Indian movie, and yellow walls. They are also connected to (same owners I presume) an Indian grocery store. Our order consisted of chai, veggie spring rolls, pani puri, masala paneer dosa, and special dosa. The food came out timely, hot, and the service was quick and efficient. The spring rolls were mediocre but everything else was sooooo yummy. I could eat that dosa every day and be totally happy. The food was quite spicy and very flavorful. I'll need to order a Lassi to help out my low-spice tolerance but it was the type of spicy that was not overpowering and tasted great. I'm looking forward to going again soon!

For lunch, my friend and I split a pani poori appetizer, thali with goat, and chicken jhol momo. Before our appetizer arrived, the server presented us with complimentary bowls of lentil soup. The soup was warm, flavorful, and comforting, perfect for January weather. Next came the pani poori. The little crispy balls were served cold and made for refreshing & tasty treats. They were great on their own and even better when dipped into the accompanying "sour water," which was a bit spicy and equally refreshing (FYI - the sour water is heavy on the cilantro, so if you don't like cilantro, just be aware!). The thali came with an abundance of food, and we enjoyed almost everything on it. The platter came with a few different curries that were all delicious and well-spiced. One of them had a good portion of tender goat, and another had fried cauliflower and potatoes I couldn't get enough of. The thali also came with a scoop of rice. When we were done with the scoop of rice but only halfway done with the curries, the staff was sweet enough to bring us an extra plate of rice to soak up the rest of the curries. The platter also came with a piece of gulab jamun, which was sweet and rich. In addition, the thali came with a small serving of mango achar. I took a bite, and the pickled mango took my tongue on a journey, LOL. First, I got hit with the super saltiness, then the super sourness, and finally the lingering, intense spiciness. I can't say the mango achar was to my liking, but I don't regret trying it! The chicken jhol momo was fantastic as well, and I couldn't get enough of the tender steamed dumplings and that excellent broth!

A bright, cheery setting with an Al fresco offering and a beautiful table spread makes you feel like royalty. We each ordered something different and there were positives and negatives for each. The tandoori chicken was good but the texture was a little off-putting. The goat fry biryani tasted incredibly unctuous and meaty, but was surprisingly light. The issue, however, is that it was cooked on the bone and said bones were left in the dish (same with the chicken biryani). Having to fight getting the meat off the bone was a chore, but the occasional bone sliver in a rice dish made for a less than pleasant eating experience (and a dangerous one at that). Finally, the cashew chicken was delightful, but even ordered mild, it was painfully spicy. The food came out at different times, like 5-7 minute intervals for each diner and the pacing was....hmm....let's say it was not concerned with speed...at all...even a little bit. For the money, it was worth the price as the portions were gigantic. The real question...would I go again? If I'm out that way and want Indian cuisine...sure. Would I go out of my way...not so much.
