Tried this place 11 years ago, have come a couple times since, and it's still the same authentic and exceptional quality indian food. My kids ask to go here all the time. Started off with simosas. Fresh from the fryer and flavorful. It came with a sweet sauce and slightly spicy cilantro sauce. I got the lamb korma. My kids got the chicken tikki masala and lamb kadai. They inhaled their food with rice and naan. Service was fast and friendly and the bathrooms were better this time around. I will be back again with the kids. read more

Among other things (will get to listing) the food wasn't even good, let alone authentic. Not even remotely seasoned (and yes we ordered with a note to make it spicy so you would expect... spices) and it was kind of flavorless tbh, it was red but might as well have been food coloring. Also the name is inaccurate, not only because there's no regional food (Jaipur is a city with a distinct cuisine) but their idea of regional food is weird, like WHY ARE YOU PUTTING COCONUTS IN BUTTER CHICKEN THEN NAMING IT AFTER A SOUTH INDIAN CITY and NOBODY IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD HAS OR EVER WILL HAVE CALLED BIRYANI CUBED CHICKEN IN A PLATE OF RICE I'M SO DONE WITH THEIR FOOD. Regarding service, I can only say I felt uncomfortable: dirty looks are one thing, but not getting water refills, cold flatbread (maybe that's the cooking idk). It was more a lack of service than anything, which normally wouldn't be a problem if you're eating at home, but it's a restaurant so yeah. It's a shame, really, because just by looking at the seating and building you could imagine a nicer restaurant, like a high end sort of thing. Now all we get are high end prices for food that didn't pass geography class. TLDR: food is below mid & it's not Indian food. UPDATE: The Paneer Tikka Masala off the main menu is DELICIOUS!!! I mean seriously tasty, I can taste garlic, good spice levels, and fresh onion and green pepper in the gravy. The butter naan that comes with the meal is TOP NOTCH. Absolutely delectable. Just the right blend of fluff and crunch. Unfortunately I didn't think the buffet was that great compared to the custom made menu items from the main menu. No worries, still 5 star I'll just order off the main menu. We came here for dinner and were very satisfied with our experiences. For appetizers, we got non-vegetarian samosas and vegetarian platters. I am not a huge fan of vegetarian pakoras but I would say their pakoras were better than some of the places I went to. I still don't like vegetarian pakoras though. The non-vegetarian samosas were very interesting. The doughs were very thin and crispy. I actually prefer thin dough. In my opinion, I think thick dough makes the dish a bit boring and mess up the ratio between dough and filling. We also got the paneer tikka masala because someone here said it was super delicious, and they were absolutely right. The sauce was so well seasoned. I dipped the naan in it and oh boy, it was so good. Their naan were very thin and not doughy as well. My boyfriend got a whole mixed basket of naan and they were all so good and unique. Additionally, I got the mango lassi. It was tasty but a bit watery. For entree, I got lamb kadhai and it was super delicious. You could taste the sweetness of fresh green bell peppers. My boyfriend got chicken biryani. There was a lot of cilantro in the rice. I like cilantro so I did not have any problem with that. Nevertheless, if you don't like cilantro, you should probably let them know. My boyfriend liked it and pointed out to us that the chicken there was good quality chicken. His brother got lamb ragganjosh and thought that was the best ragganjosh he has ever had in Cleveland. Overall, I think we all were very impressed of authentic and unique this place was. We definitely would go back again. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Indian cuisine. read more

Today I went to the restaurant and tried their lunch buffet. Butter chicken was really bad sauce was watery palak channa had no flavor and all Allo gobi was watery no naan. Mint chutney had no flavor. The owner server was on the watching video. Guest was sitting there and have no water. If I want Indian food, there's like a 95% chance I'll go here. It's not too far and the food is great so why not. Don't let the fact that it's located on a plaza that's fairly dead fool you - they are open and their food is delicious. I had a craving and decided to satisfy it by grabbing some take out. As always, I fell back on my normal order of Palaak Paneer for $9.95 which is homemade cubed cheese (the paneer) in this stewed spinach. It's spicy, delicious and goes amazingly well with naan. It comes with two or so large pieces of naan but I figured that wasn't enough. After skimming their menu I opted for the Mixed Bread Basket because they give you two of each sort of naan they offer (most of which I had never gotten so why not). For $10.95 you get: naan, garlic naan, paneer kulcha (naan stuffed with homemade cheese), and kasmiri naan (naan with coconut, cashews, and almonds - not as "stuffed" as you'd think but nicely balanced and delicious). Apart from that I got my normal Mango Lassi for $2.25 and Gulab Jamon for dessert - 2 pieces for $2.95. It was all BEYOND delicious. The Palaak Paneer can get spicy and I'm not great with Indian spice levels despite how much I love the food which is where the Mango Lassi comes in - to calm down the burning in my mouth. All of the naans were great and the Gulab Jamon was the perfect way to end the meal. The interior of this place is nice, nothing to write home about but it's clean and pleasant. The people working there are lovely and I've never had an issue, whether it was for take out or a sit down dinner. If you want to try more dishes without having to order each one or if you're new to the cuisine come for lunch if you can - they have a buffet which is amazing and inexpensive. Food was very good. Only 6 hot dishes on buffet but each one was great. I believe buffet was $14 each so I thought it was a little much for what you got. When we got there only one person in restaurant 11:30am. Smelled great. Waiter or owner was sitting at a table watching his phone. He yelled to us to sit anywhere and yelled what did we want to drink. We went and got our buffet and we were about a quarter done when he finally brought our drinks. His show must have been over. Very poor service. Gave us a refill as we were ready to leave and we had to wait for our check for over 15 minutes! So I then used the restroom What a mistake. If I would have used the restroom first I would not have eaten here. It was terrible. We will not be going back ever though the food was good. We went there with a group of co-workers on a Thursday evening. It was our first time dining at Jaipur Junction. The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. The young man whom seemed to be our waiter was too busy hanging out with the other waiter/food runner. We were with a large group so I understand it may have taken longer to get our food ordered made but it took almost an hour for the food to come out. I did notice the high amount of to go orders coming msg going so maybe those experienced with Jaipur Junction know the service stinks but the food is good so they order takeout. read more

Excellent Indian food! My favorite in the area for samosas and vindaloo. Be weary of their spice levels though, seems a little spicier than "mild, medium, etc". One of my new favorite Indian restaurants! Went here with my buddy and tried their meat samosas, garlic naan, and lamb vindaloo. All of it was amazing. The samosas had ground lamb and were very full of spiced flavor. They were also fried to perfection and we were given two different sauces to try with them. One was a green herbal mixture and the second was a red sweet sauce. We enjoyed them both. The garlic naan was cooked just right to have a somewhat chewy center with crispy edges along with a decent amount of seasoning and minced garlic. The lamb vindaloo was out of this world. The meat was cooked to perfection, the rice was very floral and delicious, and the sauce tantalized my taste buds with just the right amount of heat. I went with medium heat and my buddy went with hot and we were both very pleased with our choices. Our total was about $40 for everything. We will definitely be coming back here anytime I visit his neck of the woods. read more

This review is solely for their lunch buffet. Jaipur Junction is in a little strip mall that doesn't really have much else going on..a few empty store fronts and a big empty parking lot. You gotta stop in here for their amazing Northern style Indian food though! They have a very good variety and everything has always been fresh! Staples such as tandoori chicken, palak paneer, and chicken Tikka masala never disappoint and their fresh naan and basmati rice are fluffy and perfect. They also have samosas on their buffet, which isn't common at buffets from my experience! Crisp and with a good balance of spices. Yum! None of the buffet offerings have been even mildly spicy, unfortunately, but if you have zero spice tolerance like Dan S, this would be perfect for you! Lol Service has been great and they've never left my water glass empty. One time I came for lunch with my parents, sister, and little nephew and they didn't charge for my nephew, even though he ate a lot! Haha That was nice of them. :) read more

Lunch buffet on the weekends is the absolute best! All of the beautifully crafted dishes are amazingly delicious and warm and somewhat spicy but not in an overwhelming way. Ordered takeout because of OSU game. Food was Hot and Tasty! Samosas crisp and filling flavorful. Picnic balls are very different but worth trying if you like cashews. Naan soft and fresh. palak paneer creamy and very curry-ful. All the sauces were fresh. Both the Shrimp Baryani and 9 Jewel Baryani good, only thing wish there would've been more fresh vegetables in the vegetarian dish-frozen peas and carrots not what I would consider in a completely vegetarian dish (although may be how it's done think there is room for expanding- could add more veg). Overall, good quality, good flavor and descent serving size. Would order again or even eat there so we could order other foods that would be best served on site. read more

Had the lunch buffet. What I had was good, except the samosas were very bland. The tandoori chicken (legs or wings), chicken curry, palak paneer, carrot halwa and kheer were all great. Its a very tiny place, no decorations anywhere. Basically its a hole in the wall. When we entered, they just said sit anywhere, there are about five booths on both sides with two sets of tables to set 8 people down the middle. They didn't even hand out menus, just said go ahead to the buffet. The buffet in the back has about 14 items. Only two things were labled so I didn't try most of what was there. Everyone in my party was happy with the food, only we all ate the same stuff. I'll diffenatly be back. When we left, all the booths were taken and the place was half full when we got there. We ordered via Uber Eats, so this review is based on just the food. tl;dr: it was amazing, and we will be ordering from here again. Trust me, I'm Indian. I am Indian, but sadly, I'm one of those Indians who have no idea (or the energy) to make Indian food. Being in Law School, I honestly don't have time to invest in making good quality Indian Food, so being able to find somewhere that makes GOOD Indian food is important to me. My fiance (who is not Indian, but Italian) had a taste for Indian Food, and I did not feel like making it, so we ordered in! Also, for all those in the future, this was during the COVID-19 pandemic, so we really had no other option. First of all, I usually never order in Indian food because I love getting so many varieties of food, so if we go out for Indian Food, I always go to the buffet. But, I had a taste just for butter chicken & samosas, so I lucked out this time. My fiance loves Chicken Biryani (similar concept to Fried Rice, but a lot more complex to make), so we ordered that for him, along with the hot sauce (more of a hot chutney). He was obsessed -- loved every bite of it. I ordered samosas and butter chicken, and he and I shared the samosa platter (comes with 3 of them). Of course, you can't order Indian food without Naan, so we ordered Naan and some Paratas (Indian flat bread cooked with butter/ghee) to go along with our meals. Oh, and of course, dessert -- Gulub Jaman. Everything was amazing -- it was enough for us for 3 meals (brunch the next day and then dinner), and we were so stuffed after dinner, we couldn't even move, but it looked like we didn't eat a bite of it! The butter chicken came with rice, and the biryani came with raita (yogurt), both of which are typically standard. My fiance loves spicy food, and everything was perfectly spiced for his liking. Now, as an Indian, it is hard for me to be like "yeah that was good", but it was truly amazing. Most of the time, the "hole-in-the-wall" Indian places are the best places, and this did not disappoint. We will be ordering from them once again, and hopefully we will be able to try the buffet next. read more
