My friend and I visited Sophia's for OUR birthdays!! Such a cute spot. Kind of an interesting setup where you order at a counter, get your own utensils, and your food is brought too you. It's such a cute spot and very popular!!! We both got their breakfast sandwich, ice teas, and shared their viral French toast. Everything was fabulous!! The sandwiches were huge and fresh!! The hash browns were so tasty and the sauce drizzled on them was yummy!! The French toast was SO good!! I didn't expect that much flavor; sweet, salty, crunchy, soft!!! OMG DELISH Highly recommend!! We even saw people taking their orders to go!

We only tried two things and they were decent but there isn't much to choose from on the menu. The crustless quiche is more of a frittata, where a quiche is supposed to be creamy egg baked in the oven that becomes like a custard... so they should definitely rename their crustless quiche to a frittata. We tried the viral French toast and it's good but very very very sweet. It tastes like a challah sticky bun. The ambiance is very sweet and beautiful. It was alright but I probably wouldn't drive an hour again to go back

I liked Sophia's a brunch! A friend and I visited Sophia's for brunch on a weekday. We arrived just before 12pm. Parking can be challenging, but we lucked out and found a spot behind the building. The restaurant was busy and there was a short line, but it moved quickly. The space is open and bright. There's plenty of seating and I appreciated having a staff member dedicated to managing seating, even though it's a counter service setup. We ordered the following: Breakfast sandwiches with side of tots x2 French toast Sophia's signature lattes x2 The sandwich was delicious. The eggs were very fluffy and I enjoyed the sauce in the sandwich and in the tots, which I think were similar. The sandwich usually comes with bacon, but I requested no bacon in mine. The side of tots were crisped to perfection. The French toast was divine! Both the bread in the sandwiches and the French toast were wonderfully soft. The drinks were fantastic as well, not too sweet. I can't wait to return!

Worst part is the wait. We have tried to come 2x prior but the line was too long in the heat. Today we stuck it out, had about a 35 min wait to order. Once you order, the food comes fast. Staff was very helpful and friendly with the menu and seating. Food was good. We had their famous French toast (delicious!), little gem salad, Chicken sandwich, breakfast sandwich (both sandwiches with tots and the spicy mayo sauce was good). Got the quiche, it was a bit dry, but we enjoyed everything else including the drinks

I kept seeing the Cube French Toast all over my Instagram, so I figured it was a sign I had to go try it. We went on a Monday. Parking was a pain since the lot is small and there aren't many spots, but we eventually found one. The place is open and bright, with both indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the register, grab a number, and they bring the food to your table. The staff was pretty quick about clearing tables, so it wasn't too hard to find a spot while we waited. We ordered a cold brew, a decaf Americano, the Cube French Toast, an egg sandwich, and a breakfast burrito. Both the sandwich and burrito came with tater tots. Everything looked really nice presentation-wise. Next time, I'd probably ask for the syrup on the side with the French toast and skip the bacon on the egg sandwich. I tried it, I reviewed it, and I'd probably come back again.

Swung by on a Wednesday morning around 11am and it was consistently busy! Good sign obviously. Cute place with retro-ish vibe. Limited seating inside, but plenty of additional seating outside if you're willing to fight the AZ heat. They do have evap coolers running to help though. Quickly glanced over the menu while in line and settled on the French toast, egg sandwich, and the quiche. My stand out favorites were the French toast and the quiche. Undeniably delicious! The tater tots that came with the egg sandwich were as close to crispy perfection as you can get in my opinion. We gobbled them up way too quickly. Outstanding food and service! Couple of influencers were there filming and interviewing staff as well. Noticed that staff were so accommodating to them. Much respect to this establishment.

SOPHIA'S A BRUNCH CORNER @ MIDTOWN The egg sandwich was very filling and the salad was refreshing. There is a decent amount of outdoor seating but not much indoor. The place was very cute with many people going for brunch photos. Overall 4/5

This place has gone viral but for good reason. My friend and I came here early to beat the line, around 9:00 on a Sunday. Only a few people in line, so less than 10 minutes waiting. We ordered a couple coffees, then split the egg sandwich and french toast. Looking around, a lot of people had the same idea haha. The milk bread used is light, airy, and has a nice crisp on the outside. The sandwich itself was so good but messy to split. A good messy though. French toast was the star. I don't think I could come back and not order it. I'm not even a fan of french toast typically so that in itself says enough. It's stuffed with the perfect amount of dulche de leche and every bite was fantastic. Even though this is counter order then sit down, all the workers were attentive and friendly.

I don't even know where to start!! Service: amazing. Decor: beautiful. Food: bussilicious. We came at peak brunch time around 10:15 on a Saturday and there was a sizable line but it moved quickly and we ordered within 15 minutes. The food came out so quickly (like literally within 10 minutes of ordering) and there was a person directing us to a table after we ordered so weren't awkwardly waiting for people to leave. Now onto the food. Everyone raves about the french toast and I can see why. We expected it to be good but it was so moist, fluffy, and buttery that we ate the whole thing up. There was a slight saltiness and crisp got hr edges that just made it perfect. It is definitely super sweet and a treat though so it can be shared. The egg sandwich was also good but not much different from breakfast sandwiches we could get anywhere else. We just really liked the milk bread they used. The tater tots were awesome though. Perfectly crispy and salted. The coffee cake was good but could honestly be skipped. It was slightly dry at the edges and I wish the crumble on top was thicker. My friend also really liked her iced tea and said it was the perfect sweetness though. Overall, I would definitely be back!! I really want to try the corn waffle and crustless quiche next time :p Rating French toast: 5/5 Egg sandwich: 4.5/5 Tater tots: 5/5 Coffee cake: 4/5 Iced tea: 5/5

This brunch spot is a must try in the valley. From the moment you walk in the restaurant it produces a fun and upscale vibe. The interior was very clean and so well decorated. Their patio area is huge and well shaded. They had an ample amount of parking for downtown. The customer service was outstanding for a restaurant where you order at the counter. I loved their rotating drink menu in addition to their regular drink menu. I got the waffle, bacon, and the strawberry matcha special. The waffle was delicious and well presented on the plate. I loved the The bacon was tasty. The matcha drink was also great. The blue corn waffle was well made and a large portion.i loved the honey butter with Chile. It was a sweet and savory dish. The service was fast and they did not rush customers despite the line. The music was good but not overly loud. I look forward to my next visit.

I would be down to come here again but only in the non-summer months. The line was pretty long which makes this place feel coveted and popular for sure. The food was ok, not overly impressed personally. But it was way too hot that day. Even inside of the restaurant was too hot since they just leave the door open.

Sophia's is absolutely worth the visit, but here's one piece of advice: arrive early! This place is incredibly popular, and if you show up later in the day, be prepared to stand in a long line under the blazing Arizona sun. The wait is worth it, though. If you're ordering, do yourself a favor and choose anything that includes the stuffed milk bread. It's soft, pillowy, and the perfect complement to the rest of the menu, making every bite even more memorable. Plan ahead, beat the crowds, and you'll be rewarded with a fantastic meal without the extra time in the heat. Sophia's has earned its popularity for a reason--I just recommend getting there early so you can spend more time enjoying the food than waiting for it!

SO DELICIOUS BUT CRAZY! This place is so cute! However, even on a weekday the place is packed with a line to the sidewalk outside. It is hard for staff and customers to navigate around the restaurant. Staff seemed confused bringing food and drinks out, not sure where to go. One of my items got forgotten. However, everything was absolutely delicious. The breakfast burrito was dripping in chorizo flavor. The tater tots were perfectly crisp, with a delicious spicy aoli. The French toast with tres leches was to die for! And amazing aesthetic presentation too. My latte was strong yet sweet. The only negative food wise was my friends avocado was hard. All in all, I had a good time but it's way too crazy inside to enjoy it and for me to rush back here soon.

Hello! How is the parking here? Easy to find? Is there a free parking lot? Paid side streets? TIA :)

I have only been there once. It's free parking but the parking was limited. We were able to find a spot right away. It was easy to find. I didn't notice meters on the side streets.

We've worked our way through what feels like almost the entire dessert case over the years, and I can honestly say I've yet to find something I didn't love. Every pastry is beautifully crafted, incredibly fresh, and tastes like it was made with so much care. This visit was all about the cannoli, and let me just say... craving officially satisfied! The shell had that perfect crisp snap, while the filling was silky, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. It was everything I had been dreaming about and then some. Walking into The Sicilian Baker always feels like stepping into a little slice of Italy. Between the gorgeous display of desserts and the irresistible aroma of fresh pastries, it's nearly impossible to leave with just one treat (don't say I didn't warn you! ). Whether you're stopping in for a post-dinner dessert, celebrating something special, or simply giving in to a sweet tooth like I did, this place is absolutely worth the visit. Every dessert we've tried has been phenomenal, and this cannoli was another delicious reminder of why we keep coming back. Sweet craving? Check. Happiness? Double check.

I especially want to compliment Libby. I didn't realize the store wasn't very stroller-friendly because of the tight spaces, but Libby took the time to help me navigate the store while I shopped.
