    Peach slushie

My husband noticed the new sign on his way home from work and was curious about it. We came in today and ordered a couple tacos (rib eye and quesabirria) and an asada burrito. My husband also got an agua frescas and I ended up getting a virgin peach slushie. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and all staff members were very friendly and helpful. There's a self serve salsa bar and plenty of seating inside. The specialty tacos are made with 100% organic handpressed tortillas and absolutely amazing . Definitely a great addition and we will gladly be back soon.

So happy for this new place! I really enjoyed everything I got to try. The homemade tortillas were a HIT! The sauces were all so tasty, and I had to take home some of their homemade salsa de macha--and boy, oh boy, I loved it! You can really taste the pepita seeds, which I absolutely loved. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming, with lots of smiles. You can genuinely tell they enjoy what they're doing, and that always makes the experience even better. Here's what I tried: Rib Eye Taco -- 10/10 The meat was delicious, and the salsa macha was SO good. You can really taste the pepita seeds, which gave it such a great flavor. Del Rancho -- 8/10 I loved the nopal and cheese--they were such great additions to the taco. The only thing I would say is that the meat could have used a little more salt. Baja Cali -- 10/10 The fish was perfectly fried, and that chipotle sauce was finger-licking good! Definitely one of my favorites. They also have some really tasty aguas frescas and a very yummy salsa bar. I LOVE when restaurants aren't stingy with their salsas and condiments! Overall, such a great experience. I'm excited to have this new spot around and can't wait to come back and try more!

If you're looking for authentic, fresh Mexican food, Son Tacos is a must-try! I ordered the Rib Eye Taco and added panela cheese OMG! It was absolutely delicious. The taco is so huge and packed with flavorful, tender meat that you honestly only need ONE to leave satisfied. My husband ordered the Costilla de Puerco Burrito, and he loved every bite. The pork was flavorful, tender, and wrapped in a perfectly made burrito. The salsa bar was another highlight with an amazing variety of fresh salsas, crisp cucumbers, and perfectly pickled carrots that paired so well with our meal. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. A special shout-out to Karen, who was so friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The entire restaurant was spotless, and we noticed the staff constantly wiping down tables and counters to make sure everything was clean and ready for the next guests. Huge portions, fresh ingredients, excellent customer service, and a clean restaurant--Son Tacos absolutely delivered. We'll definitely be back!

Went for takeout today and first time trying the tacos & the customer service was amazing. The cashier explained the menu thoroughly. Everything was clean inside and I love how they had a salsa bar. I got the Xolos taco 4/5, Baja Cali taco 4/5, & my man got the carne asada loaded fries 4/5 we also got an horchata and it was sooooooo good!!! Satisfied my pregnancy cravings.

Generous portions in the specialty tacos!

Run, don't walk here! The moment you enter, you'll become hypnotized by the smell of fresh ingredients. Tortillas made at time of order. We were greeted by sweet Fernanda and met the most humble chef owner. The food was so good, I wanted to cry. You can feel the love here

Fer, Asbel, and Raquel are all amazing people. This whole place makes you feel like family the minute you walk in the door. Everything her tastes like home made which is what you always look for in a good taco spot. Now mind you it's not just tacos. Everything here is so delicious. They give you really good portions. Asbel makes the food soooo good. I love their nopales and lemon aqua Fresca is soooooooo refreshing. We have tried so many things from them. Their salsas are really fresh. They make sure you are happy with all of your food on a regular basis checking in constantly. The place is decent sized for a taco shop lots of places to sit. The music is good. Sometimes it's loud, but if they notice they do adjust it. Overall I have no complaints. Just good food and good portions. Incredible service.

We were heading to plant Safari and stopped here on a whim. It was EXCELLENT! First, when we walked in we were greeted immediately. The person taking our order was so sweet and patient with my indecisive self. I got the steak taco and elote, my friend got the loaded fries. We were brought our drinks and food. The food was so fresh! I was eating my taco and thought the tortilla tasted fresh and sure enough they are fresh hand pressed tortillas. The taco was HUGE with great steak. I was worried that one taco wouldn't be enough, hence the elote but the taco was enough. The elote was fresh and hot and my friend inhaled their fries. The inside is clean and the salsa bar is well stocked and has lots of options. Overall this was a great experience. If you're craving tacos give this spot a try.

Top Left: Ribeye. Too Right: Baja Cali w/ shrimp. Bottom: Del Rancho.

This place even though its in a tough spot, is worth the effort. Came in for lunch and ordered 3 tacos. I was warned the tacos were large, and they were. I limped to the finish eating 3 tacos. But worth the food coma. The ribeye taco was truly the bell of the ball. The way it was prepared brought back fond memories of being in CDMX. The salsa macha on the ribeye is absolutely tasty. The El Rancho was my 1.B favorite. The nopal with the meat was very juicy and the nopal gave me flash backs to when my grandma would make nopalito. Last taco was the Baja Cali with Shrimp. While I gotta have a some constructive criticism, I would say the batter was too beer forward and would have liked the batter to be a little more crispy/crunchy. Otherwise the rest was exactly what you would want in a XL sized Baja taco. The pina aquas frescas was a perfect pairing with the tacos. I need to go back and try a burrito or torta asap!

First thing I noticed it's super clean. Everyone greats you as you come in. I order the torta. Omg the flavors all fresh ingredients the asada tender awakens all the flavors in your mouth. The bread is super soft the salsa was delicious I got the mild it was very mild. Service was great food takes a little time but it's hot and fresh to your table. You can watch the chef make your food. ambiance relaxing with nice selection of Mexican music in the background. Don't live in the area but when I am here I will definitely come back. Right next to Tommy's I'm glad I chose this.... Ordered chicharron is before I left. Again flavor was good crunchy guacamole, fresh authentic. Authentic Mexican food three guys are the owners the passion for food definite displayed in their cooking. This is there first restaurant he stated they have been here for 4 weeks now and every week is picking up. Spoke to one of the owners he said the Birria cooks for 24 hours can't wait to try that.. give this place some love

Great customer service, the food was very good, we had an horchata that wasn't overly sweet but still delicious. We can't wait to go back.

Ribeye taco, quesabirria with consommé, and an asada/pastor tacos.

The food here is top tier authentic Mexican food. The ingredients all complement each other and the agua frescas are amazing/refreshing. Their salsa bar has labels on them so people don't need to guess which is spicy and not spicy, along with other assorted condiments. Their service is by far the most welcoming Ive experienced at any restaurant and the ambiance is very cozy/clean.

    Fries with birria. Ribeye taco

1.99 taco Tuesday! Found this on yelp and OMG! Everything was amazing. Service was 10/10 the cashier explained everything to us super well. All of the staff were so nice and welcoming. The food was insane. Best elote I've ever had, they put this chili oil on it which I've never seen before and it made it even better. We got the fries with birria and tacos my favorite being the Abodaba and the ribeye taco with chimichurri! I didn't think we'd finish but it was so good we ate it all. I will be coming back. The place itself was super clean and organized!!!

A friend and I ordered the Bee Kind pizza on their Mini Monday special which is a 6x6 Detroit style pizza, a side of onion rings, and a couple of IPAs to wash it all down with. I've never had Detroit style pizza mainly because it never really interested me (not a fan of thick doughy pizza) and I already know based on the "real" Detroit style pizzas that I've seen, this isn't that. In fact, it was thinner than I expected but no complaints here. Anyway, it was absolutely bangin'. Big bold flavors that jump out and is very rich. This pizza satisfied my craving for SURE. The 6x6 sounded a lot bigger on paper, but it was actually pretty small when it came out. It's a good snack for 2 people, but for 1 person it would definitely be filling. Their onion rings were FIRE. Seriously. Some of the best onion rings I've had in a long time. Very well seasoned breading and perfectly cooked. The breading was crispy, but not crunchy. I love craggly, thick onion rings, but sometimes those do a number on the roof of your mouth. These? I could eat 'em all day. Service was great although it did kinda take a little too long for the food to come out, but I guess it was worth the wait. I love the inside of the space too. It's an old building with some character to it. I will definitely be back!

With all due respect, the pizza here is a 3/10 very limited flavor…read more Lack of flavor overall, chicken / pizza was bland. We ordered the chicken pesto pizza. And to my surprise no pesto, lack of pesto flavor/sauce. What revived, the pizza was adding pepper flakes(gave it flavor). Chicken Parm was a 5/10 was decent enough for me to finish! All in all good service, and pretty seating. I will however not come again.

We were fine with it, and were given two menus and told to sit anywhere we wanted. After 15 minutes, no servers had come out to take drink orders or anything, so my boyfriend went inside to ask if someone could come take our order. I looked around the patio area and realized there were two other tables whose patrons were there before us, waiting for drinks and service, just like we were. One of them was fanning herself with the menu, as it was close to 100° outside. (There are no misters on the patio, just a slight breeze now and then. And, if you sit near the patio entrance, you should know that the huge dryer vents from the adjacent hotel are pushing hot air into the patio.) My boyfriend came back and said that he was told "someone will be out soon", and he noticed that all the servers were watching the soccer game inside. We waited another minute or so, and decided to leave and find another place for lunch. Fresh, flavorful... no notes. That being said... the place. I wanted to like it. But there were so many factors that I was just not enjoying. For one, the temperature in there is so stuffy. They have fans going but it's just not enough. The air coming in from outside the entrance door was so much better than the fan. I can't imagine how horrible it must have felt during the heat wave. Plenty of seating, but the "bar" area vs the seating is separated by a wall it almost feels like the people sitting at the bar are exclusive. It's not inviting at all. The barrels in the main room are kind of a burden to weave around if people are hanging around them. That wall just needs to go, or maybe the bar area should have been in the bigger room instead. I don't know. It just felt very uninviting. I didn't get a chance to play video games because it was so darn hot in the rooms. The bathroom was great. Nice and clean. The only downside is that there's only one bathroom. And it's in a room smack in the middle of everything. I would come back for a special event, but other than that, it's definitely not somewhere I felt comfortable relaxing at.
