So from start to finish I can't say how much this service food and overall just visit was overly the top 100% well don't and taken care of shout out to the whole team but most specifically Brianna and Logan they were so helpful from taking our kids strollers to the back so it wasn't too much of a burden on us at the table as well taking back our pizza and properly cutting it up for us we had a hard time and even at the end to. Boxing our pizza up for us at the end to take home this pizza itself was a 20/10!! The ambience as well was nice it was pretty quiet for a Sunday and relaxed . Overall shoutout the whole team there today it was a pleasure you guys really made me and my family as well my friend with his wife and daughter feel really welcomed and at ease today!
I finally got around to trying this restaurant and was happy that I finally did. The vibes of this place are old school, East coast, college town pizzeria. Lots of brick on the outside with wooden interiors. There is a hostess stand as you enter. We were seated quickly, and service was good. We closed the place down. It was nice that they didn't rush us. I tried their calamari and pizza, and both were very good. I love that they have seasonal pizza options on top of their mainstays. I also appreciate that you can get a whole pizza or pizza by the slice. They have vegetarian friendly options as well.
Absolutely amazing pizza!!! I ordered the fries and the Bee Kinder pizza, the fries were crispy and delicious. The hot honey on the pizza was such a good touch, they also have really good beers on rotation. They also have amazing ranch. Our server was very kind I will definitely be back here!
My husband and I were walking across the street from Pizza N Such not knowing it was there. We asked a lady on the street if she knows of any good Italian restaurants around and she said they are all fake. I said a few comments and proceeded to look for an Italian restaurant. We saw this restaurant and walked in and asked if lasagna is also on the menu besides pizza. Answer yes. This beautiful five star restaurant has such a pleasant ambience from daylight to night time. It was packed with people which is a great sign. The servers were very sweet and attentive. Especially our server Brianna... always with a smile. Excellent Customer Service! It was authentic and nothing fake about the food. Real Italian food. I should know because I have real Italian family members. I loved my huge lasagna! So cheesy and yummy. And my beautiful yummy big salad and garlic bread! And they have a wide selection on their menu. They even have an informative placemat with the history of Italy and Photos. So if anybody wants a real Italian ambience, food, and family feeling as well as romantic ambience, this is your number one place to go in Claremont!
Pizza N Such is located in the Claremont Village area. I came here to order a takeout order for my boyfriend and I to snack on. Parking in the Claremont Village area can be difficult, but there are a lot of small public lots, street parking, or even a parking garage if you're willing to walk. I decided to do the build your own pizza option. The 10" Base Pizza ($17.50) comes with their house pizza sauce and mozzarella. I added pepperoni and sausage ($1.55 per topping on a 10"). They said it would be about 15 minutes but I waited between 20-25 minutes for the pizza. Staff came to check on me during my wait so I think they even felt like it was taking too long. As for the pizza itself, I immediately felt like there was TOO MUCH CRUST when I opened up the box. We like the dough they use but it could have been crispier. We actually threw it in the air fryer to get a better crisp. The sausage they use is a grounded sausage, and it was only thrown in the center of the pizza so the distribution wasn't great. We liked the pizza but it definitely could have been better. For that price I would be better off going to Blaze and getting as many toppings as I want.
The hot honey pizza was so good! The crust was amazing and paired perfectly with the beer our server recommended (I wish I could remember the name). My husband and I each got a personal pizza, a beer each, and an order of calamari. Our total came out to about $90, which felt a little on the pricey side, but my husband didn't mind. Overall, everything was really good, and we'd definitely come back.
My favorite pizza joint in this area and I come here every time I am here. The Greek salad and the pepp pizza are awesome. The staff is always friendly and casual nice. i.e. you can tell they are not trying too hard or fake.
always a fun time here. the service, food, and environment never disappoints. my partner and i usually go for the greek or antipasto salad, and a great special 10" (or 12") pizza. located on the corner of 2nd and yale, it's a local spot that we come to every so often when we're craving pizza (n such)! we also opted to try a new item recently, the fried zucchini! it came out piping hot, and the batter tasted nice with the ranch dressing on the side. overall, a very enjoyable time and great food.
I highly recommend the "Bee Kind" Detroit style pizza it is so good with the ricotta pepperoni and hothoney. Very rich and filling. Delicious. There are a nice variety of taps if you like your craft beer. I can always find something I haven't tried. I forgot to take a picture of the specials but I believe they have an individual pizza on Mondays we can get your own mini bee kind, pepperoni or cheese. Every day you can get a slice until 5 PM it's a nice big signs and there's a couple of choices. It took me forever to get around to this place because it's sort of sleepy looking on the outside . Inside spacious and airy. Staff are especially sweet
It's been some time since we've been back here but the pizza is as good as ever. We came in the afternoon on a Sunday but it was not too crowded thankfully. We were seated quickly and after we ordered our food came out hot and amazing. The volume of the restaurant was not too loud or too quiet and they had Sunday football playing with different games in different tvs which was nice. We will definitely be back again.
When it comes to trying out new pizza joints I want to believe that all of them have the power to wow me. And most of the time I'm pleasantly surprised at how great and different some pies are. Pizza N Such's garlic pie with sausage was okay. It didn't really wow. The crust was good, firm but chewy just like I like. And the sausage was serviceable--a little too crumbled over what I prefer and without any interesting seasoning on it. The sauce too was pretty good, but not spectacular. But I think what let me down the most was the jarlic topping, even after I asked if they used roasted garlic over minced. This garlic was as minced, as tasteless, and as negligible as they come. Everyone knows my number one topping is fresh garlic, whether roasted or diced. But when the garlic lets me down like it did with this meal, it's hard to focus on any other merits the restaurant may have. The space is nice. And the service was great. But I come from the pizza to these pies, and, if those pies are going to be a letdown, it's hard for me to want to come back.
This place is really good! Starts off with a fun location in historic old bank building built in 1912... Lots of booths which I love! Super attentive and friendly staff! The pizza looks and tastes like the Neapolitan type because it has a thin base that puffs up on the edges around the sauce and cheese. Its tastes awesome and the crust is like candy. Make sure you have some dressing to dip it in. It would be sacrilegious to leave the crusts on your plate uneaten!! The pastrami sandwich is made with Boar's Head meat and is great. Thin slices, zero fat, and grilled or put into the pizza over to melt everything together. Roll was fantastic too!! Total winner!! Tried the chicken Parm, which is deep-fried, as well as the spaghetti and meat sauce. Pasta was al dente and good. Started with an enormous wedge salad with blue cheese!! Garlic bread also very good!! I will be back here soon!!
Been craving pizza lately and fortunately for me Pizza N Such happened to be in the area I was going to! A friend and I ordered the Bee Kind pizza on their Mini Monday special which is a 6x6 Detroit style pizza, a side of onion rings, and a couple of IPAs to wash it all down with. I've never had Detroit style pizza mainly because it never really interested me (not a fan of thick doughy pizza) and I already know based on the "real" Detroit style pizzas that I've seen, this isn't that. In fact, it was thinner than I expected but no complaints here. Anyway, it was absolutely bangin'. Big bold flavors that jump out and is very rich. This pizza satisfied my craving for SURE. The 6x6 sounded a lot bigger on paper, but it was actually pretty small when it came out. It's a good snack for 2 people, but for 1 person it would definitely be filling. Their onion rings were FIRE. Seriously. Some of the best onion rings I've had in a long time. Very well seasoned breading and perfectly cooked. The breading was crispy, but not crunchy. I love craggly, thick onion rings, but sometimes those do a number on the roof of your mouth. These? I could eat 'em all day. Service was great although it did kinda take a little too long for the food to come out, but I guess it was worth the wait. I love the inside of the space too. It's an old building with some character to it. I will definitely be back! read more

Stellar service. Mellow ambiance. Excellent craft beers on tap. And, most importantly, the pizza! We came here because my stepdaughter wanted to treat us to this spot and it did not disappoint! Dang this pizza was SO GOOD. There are SO MANY pizza spots around this area. Like.. so many lol My boyfriend and I just chose this spot at random since there were lots of options. We ordered the Bee Kind Detroit Style Pizza and it was to die for! The crust was buttery, crispy, and cheesy. I'm also a sucker for cupped crispy pepperoni. It was a nice balance of salty, sweet, and spicy. Solid pizza. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks. They weren't bad but I would pass on them next time. The cheese wasn't very stretchy or soft. When my boyfriend went to pickup the pizza, he saw everyone ordered the Hand Thrown Pizza rather than the Detroit Style. We'll have to try it next time! read more

We walked in, and we were greeted by a warming smile by this guy with beautiful curly hair :D We walked over and there are infact seats with 5 or more people which is really nice! cuz we had 8 ppl!! max is table of 10 im most certain as what i saw! Food was pretty good the appetizers were good, but the pizza was insanely good i do recommend their pizza, they make it rlly rlly g00D :3 Bathrooms are CLEAN N' NIC3 I love restaurants with clean bathrooms xD OUR WAITER WITH BRAIDS AND ORANGY-BROWN HAIR WAS THE BEST!! she made sUre we were oK n' how she placed our food on our tabL3 to make sure we were C0MFYY! Good slice of pizza and a cold brew to go with it. Old school looking joint so it has that almost classic steakhouse vibe when you sit down. Young staff so they are constantly on the go and asking if you need anything. You will get better pizza here than the typical chain places. read more

What happened? This use to be my go to Pizza splurge place in Claremont. I ordered a pizza yesterday 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperonI. The pizza was dry. I can't really explain it but usually pizza sticks together because of cheese and or toppings. This pizza didn't stick together, as a matter of fact the slices were moving around in the pizza box as it had been cut. I wise I would have taken a picture before I through the box out. Antiwho, I could have bought a cheeper pizza that tasted better from little Caesars. I just wanted to splurge on a great pizza to share with co workers. read more

Love the variety of vegetarian toppings got it to go and we had the artichoke hearts. This is the first time I've had a pizza thatwas sauce less but you dip in the marinara sauce - game changer can't wait to try this again! Amazing bread and texture, love it!
