I like my ribeye cooked rare, but with the fat properly rendered, so I ordered it rare+, and it was executed perfectly. When we got there and explained who we were, they showed us to a space that was not closed off and there was a great deal of ambient noise as well as that space was not able to accommodate our group without negatively impacted our business meeting nor the other customers in the cafe. When we explained to the 3 waitresses that we were promised the larger and more secluded room, their response was "well, we gave it to another group. If you don't like it, you can leave..." My wife and I were stunned. Never have we been so disrespected by someone in a customer service position. Needless to say, we won't be back. And my wife was a loyal customer for decades! Not only did you lose a 20 person table that would have provided a LOT of revenue and tips, we will ABSOLUTELY make sure everyone we know, hears about how awful Red Zone Cafe treats customers and groups.
