They left dirty foot prints on the top of my daughter's bathroom counter top sink. There was water on the hardwood floors. I had to spend a couple more hours cleaning all the window frames. The bug screen looks pretty bad, not well stretched and has lumpy spots. The young ladies were sitting on the ground and cutting the screenings, it looked like a craft project from elementary school. Carl arrived much later to help them out. We later contacted Carl to let him know what happened and he never responded. We do not recommend them. We will let the pictures speak for themselves.

I've seen my energy production increase by more than 10% already! They were fast, courteous of my plants and roof, and took the time to explain what they saw while doing their inspection. I like the fact that they give me digital access to all the pictures they took of my system. Their no-chemical cleaning didn't leave any streaks on my panels, and no stains on my roof or driveway. Instead of addressing our concerns, he chose to deflect them. I want to be clear about why we left the review in the first place: to share our experience honestly and to warn potential customers about what they may encounter if they choose to hire Just Installed Now. We recently hired Just Installed Now to install a mini split. However, the unit never cooled properly--it only blew warm air. Drew's "solution" was to suggest I call a contact of his to add refrigerant. When I brought in a separate licensed technician, the issue was obvious: the valves had never been opened during installation. Cost of original work: $1,050. At the same time, Drew was also hired to install two ceiling fans (one ordered from Amazon, one from Decorprice). Both shook and wobbled immediately after they were wired. I had to point this out to Drew, who seemed unaware of the problem. He blamed the manufacturers and offered to return once new fans were ordered. After repeated delays and difficulty getting him back, I replaced them myself--only to discover the original fans had been installed incorrectly. Cost of original work: $775. And although the work was completed nearly a year ago, we only recently discovered serious safety concerns with the two subpanels Drew claimed to have "replaced." Instead of properly installing new panel boxes as invoiced, he only swapped out the internals--likely because the new boxes didn't fit between the existing studs. Rather than doing the job correctly by opening up the wall and making space, he took the easiest shortcut and left us with sloppy, unsafe work. On top of that, he wrapped multiple grounding wires together under a single terminal and reused mismatched breakers--including some not compatible with the "new" Eaton panel. The result was not only misleading and overpriced, but a clear safety hazard. Cost of this poor work: $2,100. It's also worth noting that Drew became increasingly unreliable with scheduling--often arriving late or not showing up at all. This wasn't an issue early on, but by the end it became a consistent and frustrating pattern. I don't normally leave reviews, but this pattern was impossible to ignore. What we experienced was overpriced, careless, and unsafe work. For anyone considering hiring Just Installed Now, be warned: there are far better, more reliable, and safer options available.

The solar installers were very complimentary. Communication with them was great during the quoting and scheduling process. Their pricing was good. Not the cheapest, but less than half of two other companies. They also didn't use the high-pressure tactics some others used when asked to quote. The one thing I would make sure is to ask about payment mechanisms ahead of time. I ended up writing a check instead of using my credit card. That was unexpected. Aside from that, I am very happy with the results and will use them again for both the roof, and to clean the solar panels when the time comes.

Fito Parra arrived on time, with a truck that held a lot of really specialized equipment; this wasn't a side-job, but a profession, and I could tell that he really cared about what he was doing. He was able to get tough stains out on a patio that had not been cleaned for probably 15+ years. I had bought a power washer from BestBuy and tried to do it myself, but it took me an entire Saturday to literally do a quarter of what he did in almost four hours. Fito/KC Power Clean uses steam, some light chemicals (or you can say no) and industrial power wash equipment. I was also very impressed by how he cleaned the dirt splatter off the walls, and did an excellent job. My driveway and patio looked brand new! Kevin followed up asking how the service went, and sending me before and after pictures, which was another professional touch. I'd recommend looking at their Youtube channel and watching what these guys are about. They seem to take care of their employees, their customers, and are growing the business, which is nice to see. I could have paid someone else less to use Lowes/HomeDepot pressure wash equipment and chemicals or simple green, and my patio would have looked just a bit better. But considering this is licensed, insured, and the equipment on the truck was professional (for example, they have some motor on it that heats the water to make the steam, and a machine that could wind the hose back up), I felt that there was significant value. I will be using them again for other services and have already recommended them to my parents and my neighbor. I will also be referring them to my HOA to do their pressure washing. Thank you!!

Just a warning, this review is going to be pretty long. But if you're thinking about reinsulating…read moreyour home, that's a pretty big task, so I'll add as much detail as I can to help you! Background: The credit for green energy was ending in 2025, and I had always wanted to reinsulate my home because it was so cold in winter and super hot in summer. I went through many different companies and seeing how people felt about them, and I saw a lot of horror stories. I called up a few companies and found out that insulation is kind of like roofing, where a sales person and a tech comes, where the tech looks around and the sales person tries to scare you into using their company right then. They might say something like "your attic is super hot" (that's normal, well, up to a point), or "we'll give you a special deal if you say yes right now". Just kind of shady stuff overall. One big thing that people mention is that while insulation is good, you need to airseal your attic as well - this was another thing I was looking to get done. Initial Meeting: So I was kind of expecting that when I called Attic Professional. Fortunately, that was not the case at all! From other reviews you might have figured that the owner, Bryan, is incredibly respectful and treats customers well. I got to experience that as well. One thing I was surprised at is he had inside shoes (the kind you see in Japan) and put them on and off when walking around the house. He went up into my attic and really dug around to look for issues like pests or mold (besides the poor insulation layers). We went around the home together to look for clogged vents. He didn't try to sell me on anything - I remember reading one review that said he didn't try to sell them things they didn't need, and that was my experience too. He said they could put more insulation in on my existing one, or take out the old one and put new one in; but neither would have a substantial difference. I went ahead and asked him to remove the old insulation and put new insulation in just for cleanliness. I even later changed my mind and asked for a custom insulation scheme - some fiberglass batting and mostly blown-in, and he had no problem accommodating that. Oh, and they would include airsealing gaps in the attic with fire resistant foam! Reinsulation: A few weeks later, he and his team brought his truck up to my house. They covered many surfaces with plastic drop cloth to prevent insulation from flying around - they taped doorways so I could come through, and they taped cardboard to corners in the house so their insulation blower tube wouldn't cause damage. They put canvas drop cloths on the floors to protect them. There was a bit of fiberglass and debris around after, but it was very, very minor. I understand how difficult it is to be flawless with cleanup, but these guys were very good. The work was smooth and quick - only a few hours. I didn't have to add much input and the team was in and out. Bryan left for another site for an hour or so, but everyone was just as respectful as Bryan, and they told me he was a very good person to work for. Always nice to see that the employees have a good opinion of the company as well. One thing that I thought was interesting is after they removed all the previous insulation, they let me look at the attic and see how they stapled their measuring tapes. Apparently, some insulation companies will scam their customers and fold up their measuring tapes so it shows more insulation than what's actually in there. I was able to verify myself that all the measuring tapes were correct. Bryan and I did a final check on the attic together and I was very happy. Above and beyond: A month or so later, I was very curious about the insulation and really wanted to optimize the house, so I got one of those FLIR guns (temperature sensor guns) to see if the attic was perfectly insulated. As expected there were a few spots that had a bit of uneven insulation (after all, nobody's perfect), but for the most part everything was good. I sent Bryan a text about these spots, and he immediately he and his crew to come add some more insulation and pack it in. Now everything on the camera looks great. I think it's pretty rare to find such attention to quality, and I was very impressed. Results: In the San Diego weather by home would average 63 degrees when outside it was around 48. Now, the house never drops below 68, and it averages around 72 year round. When it's 85 degrees outside, it might be 76-78 inside. I've seen the temperature inside crack 80 maybe twice in the last year, and never seen it below 65. This is with no heater, no AC running EVER. So TLDR: I would completely recommend using Attic Professional for your insulation. Take a look at their price, but I find their quality far outshines anything I've seen, and I think I got a steal of a deal (with the now-removed credit sadly).

We got a couple other quotes from other guys that were pushy with options and we knew they were giving us additional services even though it was obvious that there was no rodent activity in the attic. Bryan gave us a very competitive and reasonable price. His crew came, did the job, was super chill, and completed the job. House feels amazing now! As you can see, this will be my very first post. Although It is not a standard practice of mine to post online reviews, I thought it appropriate to create an account and post one due to the simple fact of how outstanding the experience was with Solar Tech. About a year ago I started researching Solar Companies in the San Diego area. After a lengthly research period, I was about to sign a contract with a different solar company but decided to take one last look at all of the Yelp reviews for the San Diego area. I came a cross one review that opened the door for me to call Solar Tech. Being in upper management and having a deep understanding for customer service, the review set Solar Tech apart from the rest. It was really the deciding factor for me to reach out to them rather than sign with the other company I was anticipating to hire. I was contacted by a representative from Solar Tech named Ali. Ali presented himself in a professional and courteous manner as did all the other representatives eager for the sale, but Ali was the only one that seemed genuinely sincere. I know that there were times he answered my calls even when he was off work and at home which I gratefully appreciated! Me being in sales for over 30 years, I usually put my sales reps through the ringer a bit to get a better read on them and to give me a final impression of the company as a whole before I do business with them. It gives me a better idea of their communication efforts and their strategy on how they handle issues and or serious concerns. Being in business myself, I know things don't always go according to plan, but it's how it's handled to resolve that separates the best from the many. After many conversations with Ali I decided to hire Solar Tech. At the time of installation it was discovered that some areas of my roof was deteriorating felt so solar installation had to be halted and I decided to have a new roof installed first. Obviously all of the backstage arrangements with scheduling had to be rearranged not to mention inspections, permits etc. I know this had to be painstaking. Also, all the financing arrangements that had been completed had to be completely redone in which Ali had a big part in handling. I must say that Ali and the staff did an exceptionally well job accomplishing it all. The time it took to redo everything and a lenghthy rainy season set back installation for months. A short time later, Brad, the roof foreman, contacted me for the roof installation. He was extremely courteous and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The hardest part was fighting the weather for an installation date which Brad was in constant contact with me to arrange. Sometimes, as we all know, if something goes wrong or changes when you hire some type of contracting company, it's usually the communication that lags from the company when obstacles arise. Either no return call or sometimes days later. Both Ali and Brad always responded and stayed in direct communication with me keeping me posted on status. When the weather cleared, the roof installation went extremely smooth. I have no complaints at all! Everyone was professional, on time, got the job completed quickly and efficiently! The Solar was done immediately after and everything went smooth as well, quick and efficient! All equipment was stacked neatly at end of day for next day process of each installation. Clean up after was exceptionally well. In my experience most big jobs like this usually have some type of casualty of some sort. Either a leak or something damaged etc. After everything was completed I went in the attic and thouroghly searched to see if anything looked odd or that may have been damaged. I build classic cars and my kids always telling me "it doesn't have to be perfect dad"! Now I know nothings perfect but I would rather tear the whole car down and put it back together again to get it right! So I inspect thoroughly, just that kind of guy! Everything looked great! I believe patience and attention to detail is what makes the difference to doing a job right. When obstacles become apparent, it's the communication and how we handle it that makes a company stand above the rest! As I mentioned, I do not post online reviews, but with my exceptional experience with Ali, Brad, and the entire staff at Solar Tech, I had to post this in recognition of their efforts and my appreciation. Note: Not sure the system puts me in San Francisco, but I'm in San Diego, CA. I'm writing this note in case it helps somebody as reading the reviews from everybody helped me to decide. Obviously, I can just described my experience with the people I had the opportunity to work with, but your experience could be different. I've been wanting to get Solar for the past 4 years, but after taking to sales people from different companies, and based on what I had been researching, I didn't feel they were looking for my best interest, it was more one what they were trying to sell me. While talking to my neighbor, he recommended me to talk to Ali Ibrahim from Solar Tech as they had had their installation for the past 2 years with no issues and they were very happy so far. I contacted Ali who asked me what I was looking for over the phone and then scheduled a meeting to discuss the options face to face. During the meeting, I was able to express my concerns and ask my questions, which Ali responded very clearly and provided all the information I needed. Let me make a point that I never felt pressure to sign anything (like I've been with other companies). Ali, let me keep the information and send me more via email. After back and forth (even during weekends and late evenings) he responded and clarified my doubts. At the end I decided to go with the option I though it was best for me, a loan for 19 panels for a 6.84kWp and a 14.4 kWh battery system. After signing the contract, Ali kept me updated on the process and when things were going to happen. Site survey happened and the date of the installation came probably less than 1 month after signing. That day Tommy and his crew showed up early in the morning and spent the next 3 days doing the installation and answering all my questions (I'm known to ask many questions). I was surprised that the installation was done, even before that the loan was funded (it was already approved), but I was not worried as while talking to the loan company they confirmed they knew what was going on as they were in constant contact with Solar Tech and all was good. Solar Tech came back in less than 1 week after the installation, once the city and the Power company did their checks and got me approved, so it took me less than 2 weeks to start using solar power and to be off the grid. I can say that this is one of the best experience I've had with some installation and the service after that. We began to consider Solar two years ago to address both environmental issues and rising energy costs. At the time a lease or long term payment plan was being offered which did not make economic sense to us. Earlier this Spring we renewed our interest & talked to several Solar companies with the intent to purchase a system. Our search led us to Eric Broderdorf and SolarTech. Eric was knowledgeable with a no pressure approach. The solar panels recommended were by SunPower, a US based product with independent power convertors/monitoring and a 25 year warranty, all of which was important to us. At that point we decided to choose SolarTech and turned our attention to the condition of the roof. Once again we considered several roofing companies. After meeting with Brad Stamm and comparing the Solar Tech Roofing proposal, we made the decision to renew the roof prior to the solar panel installation. The roof was replaced in a professional and timely manner. Our Solar Tech project manager, Grant Magoffin, was most efficient in coordinating the entire project. We were impressed with the installation of the panels as well as the attention to details and aesthetics of the electrical installation. Alex and his crew did a great job. In just six weeks from signing the original contract Charlene Reed was on site to coordinate the final inspection. In just a few days SDG&E gave us permission to initiate the System. The SunPower App is amazing. I can monitor the output of the solar panels on a daily/hourly basis and reflect the weekly, monthly, yearly as well as overall solar output to the grid vs our actual electrical usage. If you're looking to install solar for your home I would definitely recommend SolarTech. We researched and knew we wanted to purchase our own system and not go the leasing route. I interviewed a dozen companies from large nationwide to local before selecting SolarTech. Gino was our sales representative. He was patient with all my questions and offered options based on our needs. He didn't push any particular brand and allowed us to select what we wanted. We ended up selecting an 8.32KW system using SunPower panels for a competitive price. Gino also was available to answer questions and follow through on things after his sales part was finished. Grant was our project manager and he ensured that the installation process went smoothly. Since our house was 30+ years old we also added some roofing work prior to the solar install. SolarTech has local roofing contractors that they work with in our case it was Bryon with JB roofing. JB roofing did a great job with repaper and tile relay. The entire process was a coordinated effort which was completed in a timely manner from start to finish. Any project is going to have things come up during the process and Grant handled everything quickly and to our satisfaction. Charlene was helpful with the inspections and the after install IT monitoring setup. SolarTech's office staff Shauna & Ashley were very easy to deal with and kept us in the loop during the process. They were responsive to emails and processed all the required paperwork for SDG&E as well as the city. I have been in the market for solar for the past couple of months because my monthly electric bills are out of control. After researching solar and the benefits I decided to contact as many solar companies in San Diego to see who had the best offer. I narrowed my search down to 5 companies and was not impressed with their lack of knowledge regarding their products let alone for what system would suit the needs of my home. 2 of the 5 representatives that I met were late to the appointment, 1 cancelled on me the night before and the other had horrible yelp reviews so I cancelled the appointment! I began to think that investing in solar was not for me until I met Ali. Ali was not only one time to our appointment and well-dressed but knowledgeable about the product! He was the only company who was honest with me and did not sugar coat anything. Other companies tried selling me more than I needed and did not inform me that because I had clay roofing that it would a little more difficult and a little more time consuming then if I had asphalt shingle roof. Ali informed me right away of this and explained what would happen if they did not properly install the solar on my clay tile roof. He did not hold back any information of how the installation process works. I admire Ali's knowledge, honesty and professionalism that no other solar representatives had. We ended up getting 12.400kw system and we love it! Since my purchase, 3 of my other friends and co-workers have invested in solar with Ali. SolarTech have just installed a pool heating system for me. The experience from start to finish with them has been excellent. From my initial online enquiry I was put in touch with a System Design Specialist (David Baca). David was exceptionally knowledgeable, he did not try to do a heavy sales job (like the other companies I had talked to) and he was able to answer all my questions. Although the quote I received was similar in price to the others I had approached, SolarTech had quoted extra square footage and a neater installation (the pipes were to be put underground, unlike the other quotes), not to mention the additional warranty period offered by SolarTech which far outstrips their competitors. Prior to the installation the Project Manager (Damian Iniguez) did an inspection of our roof and pool and was able to answer all my questions, again filling me with confidence that I had chosen the right company. On the installation day the SolarTech team (Kevin and Gabriel) arrived, they were both exceptional. The completed job is stunningly neat and I couldn't be happier, the pool is now great and the temperature has surpassed our expectations. A few days after the install we thought there was a leak. Kevin and Gabriel came straight out to check. It turned out that the water was nothing to do with the install at all and was attributed to a sprinkler, so no leak leaving my wife and I very embarrassed. What an outstanding organization! Very impressed on how they managed our project. From the very first email they demonstrated great communication. They let me know who all the player were from the team and gave contact information. Site walks were smooth and easy. Quality representatives. The first day of the electrical install I met with Hector. Within minutes I was confident to leave and go back to work. I knew the crew knew what to do. The project came out great and I have already given their name out to a few people. Just wanted to give a final update on the project. I believe it is important to share the experience especially since a solar project is not a cheap project. The beginning of the project started with Kevin Young - Sales. Very informative. Gave me a lot of information to efficiently do my own research and comparison on the Sun Solar product. Ashley and Jasmine kept me very informed on progress at all stages of the project. The staff helped with our loan process with SDMCU. Damian was the project manager on the pool portion. We did a control upgrade as well as the water panels. After receiving a bid locally for Solar Installation, I spoke with Steve Brunton from SolarTech who provided an honest comparison between the mid-range system quoted locally versus SolarTech's high end "SunPower" panels with microinverters. My local guy offered a 10-year warranty on the string inverter and 20-year warranty on the panels. Solar Tech's "SunPower" system comes with a 25-year warranty on the entire system! The price was lower than I expected and the job was completed in two days! The inspector and company rep showed up the 3rd day and signed off and fired up the system on the spot! Solar Tech took care of the SDG&E net metering application as well as the building permits from the city of Carlsbad. All I did was e-sign the contract and write a couple of checks. Every person I dealt with in the office were fantastic in keeping me advised via email and phone calls. Grant Magoffin, Shauna Harless, Ashley Garrison and Steve assisted me every step of the way and the workmen were efficient, professional and did a beautiful job. They even painted the conduit to match my stucco! And Steve Brunton actually drove to our house to deliver a 'gift card' and they also sent us a nice box of brownies after job completion. After looking through multiple proposals, we decided to go with Solar Tech. The process was smooth and great. The Senior Solar Consultant, Ali Ibrahim, explained what was to be expected and how much it would cost for the solar installation, and how long it would take. He was very professional and responsive. He was easy to get a hold of even in the evenings and the weekends. It was pretty stressful after we learned that all the wood and frames on the roof needed to be replaced and ended up spending more money than expected. The Project Manager for the roof installation, Brad Stamm was very helpful and assisted us with the entire process including getting the loan approved, finding framers, etc. We were very impressed with the roofers also. These guys started working at 0730 and spent all day working on our roof until it was completed. The Lead was very meticulous about making sure his team was on top of things and constantly directing them to clean up and pick up all trash and nails every day before leaving. They were great people and did a good job with our roof. Our roof looks really great and the monthly payment was quite affordable. We are very happy with Solar Tech and I even referred 2 of my co-workers to get solar through Solar Tech. One of them already signed up with Solar Tech. We had a wonderful experience with SolarTech from start to finish. We chose SolarTech for multiple reasons. 1) Because the Sales Representative Eric Broderdorf was very professional and knowledgeable and helped us through the whole process. He was always available to answer any questions we had. 2) SolarTech's price was the best and their reviews were fantastic. 3) They also sold Pool Solar. The install of our system was completed in one day, for each system, even with having to add an additional panel since ours was pretty much maxed out. They took the extra steps to do a very clean, professional install that we were thrilled with. We recommended Eric Broderdorf and SolarTech to my niece and she purchased from them as well after they had already had four consultations with four other companies. The whole process was so easy and stress free thanks to all the help from their entire team. They were all so pleasant, helpful and guided us through the whole process with ease. We throughly enjoy producing our own energy and not having an electric bill any longer, and our grandsons love having a nice warm swimming pool to swim in when they visit each week. Great company, great service tech in Sean Pearce! Quick and friendly pool solar panel service, reasonable price, problems solved one visit! I had leaks in my old solar panels, and a problem with the actuator not correctly diverting water to the solar panels. My pool guy recommended I call SolarTech, which I did, and got a quick appointment. Sean came out to take a look at the problems. What a great guy! He inspected the panels, found two other problems which I had not seen, and fixed all of them. When he took off the actuator, he found a screw hole was cracked. He was very inventive trying ways to replace only the actuator, and not the housing too, without water leaking through the crack. Unfortunately (for me), the leak persisted. We agreed that the 3-way housing for the actuator needed to be replaced, and Sean completed the difficult task (given the geometry of the pipes) of replacing the housing and actuator quickly and accurately - with the result of a working actuator and no leak. Sean had all the necessary parts on his truck, so no need for a second visit. He was very diligent at explaining to me what he had found and his proposed solutions so I could make an informed decision whether to go ahead or not. Kudos, Sean! I had my solar installed a few months ago. I was referred to Eric at SolarTech by a friend who was a satisfied SolarTech customer. I already had talked with reps of 3 different companies. I contacted Eric on a Thursday. We talked on the phone for a few minutes and he asked me to text him a picture of my electrical panel. I signed the contract the next day when he told me they had an opening for installation the next Tuesday, let alone their price was better than the 3 other estimates I had. My permits were obtained in one day because I live in the county. The system was inspected the following Monday. I never even met Eric personally until a couple of months later! From the day I signed the contract my system was permitted, installed, inspected and approved in 11 days! Totally unheard of in the solar world! To top it off, I got in under phase one net metering with one day to spare! SolarTech rocks! Everyone was very helpful down to walking me through the application process for net metering. Other names I can remember were Ashley and Grant, but honestly they were all great. Another fantastic service they provide is having a service technician on site during inspection to facilitate the inspection process. My husband and I had a deeply disappointing and troubling experience with Solar Tech, which has left us in an ongoing legal and financial predicament. We hired Solar Tech to install SunPower solar panels on our home, and while the installation itself was completed, things took an unexpected and devastating turn. When SunPower went bankrupt, Solar Tech came back and removed the solar panels they had installed. Despite taking the panels back, they placed a $78,000 lien on our home for those very same panels. This lien has been looming over us and has become a significant legal issue that impacts our home and peace of mind. What is most frustrating is that we have reached out to Solar Tech three times now, hoping for some resolution or, at the very least, an acknowledgment of our situation. Yet, despite our multiple attempts to contact them, they have remained completely unresponsive. It is deeply concerning and unacceptable for a company to behave in this manner. The silence, coupled with the unjustified lien, is not only unethical but feels predatory. We are sharing our story to alert potential customers to our experience and to encourage Solar Tech to respond and take action to rectify this situation. We hope Solar Tech will do the right thing and address this matter promptly. read more

It has been a year since SolarTech installed my solar equipment as well as brand new pool equipment. After other solar companies knocking on my door and hounding me at Home Depot, I decided to go with SolarTech on the recommendation of friends and neighbors who have used their services. I arranged a quote after opening yet another $400 electric bill. Gino came out to quote the solar side and I was impressed with his knowledge (because I knew nothing about solar stuff) and also satisfied with the price and loan options. Jason came out to quote the pool equipment and was great also. The equipment I had was from 1982 and not energy efficient. They each explained the process and how the install would go. Everything they told me was the truth and their installers were careful and quick. They cleaned everything up when leaving and were good at calling ahead so I could be ready for them. This was by far the best improvement I have made to my house to date. My pool is way cleaner now and the equipment is almost completely quiet. The solar has been awesome and no more checks to SDG&E. I would (and have) recommended SolarTech to anyone and everyone. read more

When it came time to purchase a solar power system for my home, I wanted to make an informed decision. I shopped around and met with 6 other providers on several occasions. As competitive as the solar energy market is for providers, SolarTech was by far the best choice to go with when it came to cost, quality of their product, knowledge of their product, and legendary customer service. I knew little to nothing when it came to solar energy systems for residential homes prior to my venture with SolarTech. The people at SolarTech were phenomenal; educating me on everything there is to know about solar energy systems. I went with the 9.8kw Sunpower system and it has done wonders for my SDG&E bill, $15 a month! Ali was extremely helpful and made himself available throughout the installation process, he was there every step of the way. Ali also helped me with a 200 amp. panel upgrade, I highly recommend this! SolarTech's project manager Grant was also helpful and available during the installation process from start to finish. Overall SolarTech is the way to go hands down. They are great people and pleasant to deal with. read more

I researched this a lot. A lot. I talked to a bunch of companies, all with five star reviews on Yelp. I would go with six stars if I could for Solartech - they are awesome, even after a handful of unexpected things came up with my house's electrical panel, SDG&E stuff, etc... they handled everything quickly and professionally. My panels were turned on a couple days ago, much earlier than I expected. I can't say enough about how quickly they resolved things as they came up and how responsive they were - everyone from JT the sales manager, Ashley(s) and Shauna with logistics and quotes and Grant my project manager. The whole process was smooth and everyone I've dealt with was trustworthy, as they delivered exactly what they said they would. I have 18 LG 315W panels and they've already generated more than 30kwh per day, and it's only mid-March. The time to go solar is definitely now, as another reviewer noted. You should definitely go with Solartech. Figuring out the solar thing is very complicated and confusing, this company will take care of you. And - they had the best price to top it all off. SolarTech stood out from amongst the rest. Our neighbors had solar installed and they are people who "do their homework". I had already had 4 different quotes on our home and it is a complicated install process. (We ONLY wanted solar on one particular-not so sunny side of the house and not street facing level) AND... we were under a deadline to get it all done in less than 2 week timeframe. Ryan Bertel and his amazing team pulled through. AND they were $5K significantly cheaper than all the other quotes. I have never seen such efficiency and coordination amongst all team players. People were working all hours (literally!) and even on their days off to help us out. We had complete access to their sales, marketing, engineers, and installers at all hours to answer any of our questions. Their install was done in a two day process and they left my garage cleaner than when they found it. Literally... they helped me clean up my garage. They also gave great recommendation for financing which helped expedite our process. I still am amazed at the experience we had. I cannot recommend them more. read more

Review Update: After…read moremy initial review, Eric (the sales rep) and Matt (the owner) of Sunline personally reached out to me and was apologetic about the situation. They sent Travis out promptly, who is their electrician where he found that the issue was resolved by replacing a faulty 40-amp breaker that was intermittently providing the necessary voltage, even though measurements initially appear correct. While the breaker issue caused real inconvenience and unexpected costs on my end, the owner was responsive and showed willingness to smooth things over to work toward a resolution. I also want to highlight that the panel upgrade and solar/battery installation itself was clean and well done. The workmanship that Eddie, Manny, Christian and Jamie performed had overall met my expectations, and once the issue was identified, Sunline did step in to correct it. No project is perfect, but how a company responds when problems arise matters a lot. In this case, Sunline's owner and Eric was engaged, responsive, and made a sincere effort to make things right. As an engineer, and after witnessing the symptoms and corrective actions firsthand, I believe the breaker issue was likely a manufacturing defect, and it was unfortunate that it occurred during the holidays. That said, based on how Sunline handled the situation, the overall quality of their work, and the value they offer, I would recommend them and plan to continue using them for future needs.

Adrian quickly figured out the issue, explained what happened, and was extremely kind and professional throughout the visit. What impressed me most was that he didn't even charge us for the service call. He explained that since it was such a simple issue, he was happy to help and wanted to establish a good working relationship with us for our rental properties. That kind of honesty and customer service is hard to find. We really appreciate Adrian going out of his way to accommodate us on a Friday afternoon with only a couple hours' notice. We will definitely be calling Sunline Energy again for our future HVAC needs. Highly recommend!

SunLies is now denying warranty because I had a third-party (tesla certified installer) install an…read moreexpansion pack on my system. There is liteterally a federal law that says using a third-party installer does not void a warranty, unless the original installer/manufacturer can prove that the third part directly caused the warranty issue. Their warranty tech said that the expansion was not installed correctly as the exisiting breaker for the PW3 should have been upsized; what a crock of shit since the expansion pack does not increase the peak load on the circuit rather it only doubles the stored power available. The system had been working normally for almost 2 months and then has randomly disabled DC inputs; most likely an electronics issue with the PW3. Sunlight will lie and deny at any cost. The worst part is that they initially installed conduit incorrectly. Then tried to refuse to come fix it even though I had pointed out the problem during the install. Then when they fixed the conduit they took my system offline becasue the wired it incorrectly. Then when they fixed the wiring issue they didn't install the main panel cover correctly and the cover interfers with the breakers. They do subpar work and then make up things about the work done by others to try and void your warranty. What a sleezeball company - avoid at any cost!!! Guess they are willing to roll the dice with a law suit on voiding the warranty!

The team did a good job of fixing the roof, but our solar system was not communicating or being monitored, and we asked for help and they refused to help us and refuse to honor their warranty and wanted to charge a service charge to repair it, and needed that paid before they would even come out and do the service on the system. I, the customer spent half a day working online with the solar monitoring people to try to get the system up and running with no help from US green. Their owner is rude and claims personal problems to be the reason for such bad service. I would not recommend them in any fashion as I'm now having to pay another solar company to come, fix what they would not honor on their warranties. The installation team does a good job, but the management and ownership of this company is horrible.

He knows his stuff and even used to teach college courses on solar back in the day. Another company had a rep come over and she didn't know jack about solar - she was mainly a realtor doing it as another income source. He gave both of us a great feeling and was competitively priced. We liked that he keeps things simple and just installs the best, didn't try to upsell us when he could've, and wasn't "salesy" or high-pressure. Glad we hired him. We've had the solar for months and still happy.
