ABSOLUTELY THE PERFECT CHOICE FOR YOUR SOLAR & BACKUP BATTERY NEEDS... After getting bids from several companies, someone suggested I talk with SolarFuze before deciding which Solar company to choose for our solar and backup battery project. My wife and I are so very happy we selected SolarFuze to work on our La Mesa home. I am a bit analytical, do lots of research and ask lots of questions before selecting the right company for us. I am happy to report my wife and I found Farid and the wonderful team from SolarFuze to be trustworthy professionals who listen well, communicate well, and do great work. My wife and I are extremely pleased with Farid's integrity and transparency. Farid graduated from SDSU as an electrical engineer. So, he was especially excellent at explaining potential solutions that may better help in achieving our project goals: new more power producing solar panels (to replace old panels from 2010) plus an additional backup battery for even more energy storage. We use both batteries nightly during peak utility rate hours... one for household essentials and the other for household air conditioning (and to help add EV charging especially during hot weather summertime power blackouts). Here's The Bottom Line: look at all the Many Very Satisfied SolarFuze Customer Reviews here on Yelp. There is a reason SolarFuze receives so many superb reviews. Now, be sure to contact SolarFuze. My wife & I are so proud to highly recommend SolarFuze for any home or business solar project. SolarFuze - Our backup battery and equipment. It's nice the team also painted the conduit to match the exterior house color. - Solar Installation Near Me - San Diego, California

I purchased a solar panel system with a home battery from SolarFuze based on a friend's recommendation, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. I worked with Farid, who was attentive, knowledgeable, and engaged from our initial consultation through the completion of the project. The installation crew was highly efficient, and my system was completed in just two days. It would have been finished in one day if not for rainy weather that temporarily delayed the process. Farid was very transparent throughout the entire installation, keeping me informed every step of the way--there were no surprises. He personally handled all of the permits and inspections, and my permit to operate was approved by SDG&E within just four days. Farid was also very personable and always available by text or phone whenever I had questions. I was so impressed that I referred him to my next-door neighbor, who had their system installed just a few weeks later. They also shared how wonderful their experience with SolarFuze and Farid was. I highly recommend SolarFuze to anyone considering going solar! read more

This review is long over due. I finally had the time to finish it. I needed to get my solar installed by mid-March. Prior to installing solar, I also had to get my roof redone as it had leaks. SolarFuze owner, Farid, recommended a roofing company and worked diligently with them. I decided to put new roof tiles. I worked directly with the roofer. However, SolarFuze worked with the manufacturer and supplier to make sure the materials arrived when needed as we were on a tight schedule. When the roofers started, I worked with them directly. At the same time, SolarFuze also came by my house daily to check on the roof work. SolarFuze worked with the roofers to fix all the leaks. SolarFuze and the roofers communicated with me on a daily basis of the progress. The roofers and SolarFuze made sure the entire fascia boards were repaired and repainted. SolarFuze made sure the work was completed satisfactory before installing the solar. Once the roof was completed. SolarFuze staff quickly installed the solar on top of the roof and finished with a week. Farid did all the coordination with SDGE to make sure my solar was functioning before the due date. Lastly, SolarFuze followed through to make sure that the skylight was replaced and installed properly. Overall, Farid was very patient man. He cared about his customers. He was quick to respond. Every time I called, he would answer or call me back within an hour or two. He made sure the work was done properly. He was good to work with. He was also good to his employees. The SolarFuze staff were also friendly and diligent. They cleaned after once the job was done. A new roof and solar installation are huge investment. I'm happy that I went with SolarFuze. They're a good company and good to work with. read more

We used SolarFuze to install our solar system, and it was hands down the easiest home upgrade process I've ever experienced. I went into this knowing almost nothing about solar, and I came out feeling fully educated and confident in our decisions. As a working mom, timing, trust, and clear communication were absolutely crucial for me--and Farid delivered on all three. He was incredibly easy to work with, extremely detailed, and made sure I was informed at every step. I always felt in the loop, never rushed, and never confused. He also offered thoughtful recommendations including preparing for our first electric vehicle. Because of SolarFuze's guidance, we were able to qualify for the 2025 solar tax credit as well as the battery rebate, which was a huge win. From start to finish, the entire process--including the roof work--took about three weeks, which exceeded my expectations. The installation team was professional, clean, and tidy, and treated our home with care. If you're considering solar and want a smooth, trustworthy, and well-communicated experience, I highly recommend SolarFuze. read more

Solar Fuze I wanted to wait a couple months before I left a review. November 2025 Solar Fuze installed a new roof, upgraded electrical panel, 16 solar panels, Franklin battery and electric car charger to my home. Farid, the owner was here EVERYDAY checking in, beginning with the detailed estimate, signing the contract, overseeing all the roofing and all the electrical installation. He was here for deliveries, inspections as well as anytime that I had questions. He is a true professional. He is upfront and honest. He treats his employees and his customers with respect and integrity. Our project was complicated and done on time and to perfection. I had several quotes on roofing and solar and NO one came close to the quality of products and craftsmanship that Farid and his team provided. They went above and beyond to make sure I received the best product on the market. The job was completed and inspected before December so I was able to take advantage of the 30% Federal tax credit. Which I just used doing my taxes$!$! They also helped filling out the form for the State rebate. Haven't got that yet. But should be soon. My electric use is almost zero now with the solar and battery!! Great VALUE!! I highly recommend Solar Fuze for your next project. Gary R Mount Helix read more

I had existing Enphase solar panels that were installed prior to purchasing the house. Without a battery system, and with SDG&E constantly shuting power down for maintenance or unplanned outages, a battery system was needed. After reviewing several solar companies and asking for bids, all but one provided quotes without a site visit. Farid was the only one who actually visited our home with Armor and Juan. They inspected the solar and electrical panels, provided several options, suggestions. and actually came out the next day and cleaned all the solar panels as a courtesy. Needless to say, besides the personalized service, SolarFuze had the best quote, installed on the date they quoted, and have continued to followup since the installation via phone calls and texts. Farid and his crew go way beyond supporting their products with service that is absolutely top grade. I highly recommend SolarFuze for any solar system. His recommendations were spot on and have already brought us thru a power outage without issues. The outstanding reviews stating SolarFuze is a great company are 100% accurate....Farid and his crew are an incredible team. read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with SolarFuze to install a complete solar energy system with a backup battery at my home, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From my very first phone call to the final inspection and system activation, SolarFuze made the entire process easy, transparent, and stress-free. Their quick response, clear communication, and seamless project management truly set them apart. My experience began with a phone call to SolarFuze after hearing great things about their services. They returned my call right away (less than an hour), no long wait and the representative I spoke with was Farid, he was both friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to understand my home's energy needs, explained the benefits of adding a battery system, and answered all my initial questions in detail. It was clear from the start that SolarFuze's team genuinely cares about helping customers make informed decisions. Within a day, I received multiple detailed proposals that clearly outlined the system size, projected energy savings, cost breakdown, and the type of battery options that would best fit my setup. Everything was transparent and easy to understand, with no hidden fees or confusing jargon. One of the things I appreciated most about SolarFuze was their consistent communication and hands-on guidance throughout the process. From permitting and installation, they kept me updated every step of the way. I never had to wonder what was happening or when things would move forward SolarFuze handled all of it with professionalism and care. They walked me through the entire timeline upfront, explaining how each stage would unfold, including system design approval, permit applications, installation, and final inspections. They were always available by phone or email to answer questions, and they responded quickly every single time. That level of transparency and responsiveness made the whole experience smooth and worry free. One of the biggest reliefs for me was that SolarFuze took care of all the permits and required inspections. They handled every bit of the paperwork with the local authorities and utility company, ensuring everything was compliant and up to code. I didn't have to lift a finger or make any phone calls they managed the entire process from start to finish. They also coordinated all necessary inspections and were present to make sure everything went smoothly. Their professionalism and familiarity with the permitting process clearly helped move things along quickly and efficiently. When installation day arrived, the SolarFuze team showed up exactly on time and immediately got to work. The crew was professional, respectful, and clearly experienced. They completed the solar installation in one day and the battery system installation the next day and left my property spotless afterward. They even took notice of the left-over house paint that was stored nearby and took it upon themselves to paint all the conduits to match the house, leaving an incredibly professional installation. The installers took the time to explain how everything was set up and walked me through the operation of both the solar panels and the battery system. They made sure I understood how to monitor my system using the app, showing me how to check solar production, battery charge levels, and energy usage. Their attention to detail and willingness to educate made me feel completely comfortable with my new system. The backup battery system has been an incredible addition. It efficiently stores excess solar energy during the day and powers my home in the evening or during power outages. Plus, the system's app makes it easy to see exactly how much energy I'm producing, storing, and using in real time. It's both convenient and empowering to see the impact of clean energy in action, not to mention the cost savings. Even after installation and activation, SolarFuze didn't just disappear. They followed up after the final inspection to make sure everything was working perfectly and that I was fully satisfied with the system's performance. They also provided helpful resources on system maintenance and tips for maximizing efficiency. Their continued support really demonstrates their commitment to long-term customer satisfaction. In every aspect from the initial phone call to the completion of all inspections SolarFuze delivered a flawless experience. Their team was responsive, professional, and truly customer focused. They handled all the technical details, permits, and inspections, making what could have been a complicated process completely effortless for me. If you're considering switching to solar energy and want a company that combines expertise, efficiency, and excellent communication, I wholeheartedly recommend SolarFuze. Their attention to detail, step-by-step guidance, and high-quality solar and battery systems make them an outstanding choice for anyone looking to go solar with confidence. read more

Family friend recommended SolarFuze and we happy that we went with them. SolarFuze is a small family business with great customer service, installs quality panels and battery at a great value with a superior warranty. Don't hesitate to get an estimate, very straight forward and honest. Also, they are quick to provide great customer service if there are any issues after installation. The Enphase battery had an issue with reporting data a couple years after installation (the panels battery were still functional). SolarFuze was quick to work with Enphase to get it fixed with a new circuit board. read more

SolarFuze just finished a 15 panel installation with a Tesla Powerwall battery at my house. I received quotes from 7 other companies (including Tesla) , but end-up using SolarFuze. Tesla would not install solar on my house because it has a clay tile roof. SolarFuze used the panels I requested (LG) and Enphase IQ7+ micro-inverters. They performed a "picture frame" installation on my clay tile roof. Their price was the best (when compared with the same panels and inverters). SolarFuze is a small local company that really cares about their service and product. Farid and team were professional and met my expectations. From start (9/10/20) to finished (PTO on 11/11/12), they kept me informed of the timelines. So far, I'm very pleased with our new solar and battery solution. read more

I received 5 different bids for solar from different companies in the area and Solarfuze came down to be the best price, service and quality all together! Farid is a lifelong electrical engineer and only provides the highest quality LG panels and converter for his clients. I love that I "shopped small" and hired this company. I went with SolarFuze due to the positive Yelp reviews and communication from the start. The owner, Farid, came out personally to review my house to provide an estimate. Other companies I reached out to wanted me to just send pictures. SolarFuze made some modifications to my existing solar install to meet HOA guidelines. This included moving the control box inside the garage and installing new rack mounts. The job took two days total and after each day, Farid personally came by to review the work his team did. I highly recommend SolarFuze. Additionally, I had them install an EV outlet in my garage since they were already performing the solar work and that went great as well. Finally, their pricing was competitive when comparing with other quotes. read more

Solar Fuze My experience with Solar Fuze was absolutely fantastic. I approached Farid (owner) based on a reference I received from a friend who had also purchased their solar solution. I did have meetings with two additional vendors before picking Solar Fuze. I even considered leasing. The leasing option seemed to be better than going with SDG&E, but not by a ton. The other solar company wanted me to replace my circuit breaker panel and work with SDG&E to have a new power run installed between the street and my panel. Their quote was ~10K more than what I paid with Fuze. - Farid worked with me to maximize the potential of my existing electrical infrastructure saving me ~10K compared to the competition - In my case, his crew was able to complete the installation in a day - They handled all interactions with SDG&E - They're design was approved by SDG&E without any issues - They modified the design to hide as many panels as possible from street view - Installed x15 high-end 360W LG Panels - The inverter is Enphase IQ7 Plus (Very cool web and mobile app monitoring) - Enphase displays the power for each individual panel, making troubleshooting very easy - Best price... SolarFuze has been in business for 15 years which is a long time in this turbulent industry and has maintained a 5-star review status on Yelp and an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau. Both of these ratings are well deserved. Farid is an engineer who clearly knows the nuances of solar energy. We commissioned SolarFuze to upgrade a 12-year old system and to add additional battery storage. His analysis and implementation plan were very much on target. The 25-year warranty is statement about their customer commitment. I'd recommend SolarFuze to anyone looking to install or to upgrade existing systems. read more

Wow. SolarFuze was so easy to deal with on this project. I wish every project was this easy at my house. The sales pitch was not what I expected. I expected a lot of up sale and technical terms to be used. Not the case here. I explained what we were looking for with options to expand in the future. SolarFuze had multiple plans and options ready for our budget. Despite the plans, it was very much al a cart style. We use a lot of power in our house and wanted to meet not only todays use but also future use. We were given timelines for everything. SolarFuze met all of those time lines. We purchased a 30 panel system and was looking at a battery system also. We opted out of the battery because the technology just isn't at a place we were comfortable with. The CEO came out to the project several times to ensure we were satisfied and to make sure there was no problems. It was a pleasure working with SolarFuze. Doing business with SolarFuze was amazing. The company was recommended to me by a friend who is an engineer and therefore very technical. I'm fortunate to have received this referral. Farid is extremely knowledgeable, professional and patient. He will take his time to explain what options suit your solar needs best. He has none of the typical traits of other solar salespeople, who are always very pushy. Moreover, SolarFuze uses the best and latest technology and equipment for your solar installation. On top of that, I was delighted to find that the pricing for my system was the best in town. Their customer service is impeccable and they stand behind their service with an unbeatable warranty. I wanted to hold off on my review and let the Honeymoon Period end after our installation. Now a couple of months later I still feel great with our decision to use SolarFuze! I researched several other contractors and saw the good, the bad and the ugly. By the time I met Farid, I was pretty well-versed in the variables and knew right away that he was our guy. The install was lightning quick. Where others were telling me it would take months to get the inspections, approvals and SDG&E connection, our process took a couple of weeks from start to production. I am so glad I went with Farid and his team. Farid is also an electrical engineer which gave me confidence on any panel issues with my older home. Just passed our final inspection with the city of Poway and couldn't be happier with Solarfuze. I got multiple quotes from larger companies that only wanted to push their favorite technology and that seemed to trash talk each other and microinverter technology. After meeting with Farid and understanding the challenge of how our lot is positioned it was clear that microinverters were the way to go due to shade. There was a bit of a slow start getting the permits but I'm used to that with other projects, it's part of living in Poway. Installation took two days and the inspection happened two days later. Now we're just waiting for SDGE to do their part and we will be enjoying the benefits of solar. Great communication and customer service throughout the entire project. read more

We recently had our solar panels installed by SolarFuze. I am very pleased and have nothing but great things to say about Farid and his team. Farid is very detail oriented. His roofers did a fantastic job as well as his electrician. They respected our property, cleaned up daily and usually did a walk through. Their work is impeccable. I had an excellent experience with Solarfuze installing a 20 panel system at my house. I talked with other vendors, but Solarfuze was more professional, responsive and unbiased than the other companies I spoke with. The fact they also beat the other companies on price made my final decision easy. Solarfuze maintained strong communication through the entire process, and went above and beyond by taking care of the SDGE paperwork (and paying the net metering application fee), painting the solar conduit to match my house, and put pressure on SDGE to get their side done. I felt compelled to write another review for SolarFuze after receiving such amazing customer service. We had our system installed at our home in March 2019 and recently noticed a slight increase in our electric bill, it had been almost 0. I called SolarFuze with my concerns and they sent a team member out almost the same day. As soon as he came down from the roof he informed me that the problem was an adjacent tree had grown so large that it was shadowing several panels and was also dropping dirt and debris on the panels. I assumed I would need to contact a costly tree service and have them cut and remove the large limbs. To my surprise, he told me he would take care of it for me, no problem. Not only did he take care of all the tree cutting but he asked for a rake and broom to clean everything up as well ! The next day he sent me photographs of the roof, before and after, and I'm happy to report that my panels have increased 5 times in efficiency since the work was done. Thanks SolarFuze, you really went above and beyond for us !!!!! read more
