It was seamless and "almost" right on the projected time frames. Through the process they kept me up to date and were available for a few questions I had along the way. The installation crew came out and they were EVEN better than the customer service and sales rep. Eduardo Naranjo needs a promotion and a raise. The man was so humble, genuine and all around a great guy. He dealt with my kids and many dogs with no fear lol. He was professional and kept me apprised of everything the crew was doing. At then end of the installation I was sad to see the man and his team go because they were so personable and efficient. The install of my panels and batteries looks way way better than I could have imagined. I already had existing solar that I liked. But this new system blows it out the water. Anyway. TIMELY- Uriel called 30 min before his arrival and then, arrived at the stated time. This is particularly helpful so I can move my bunny to another room with all of his belongings. ATTENTION TO DETAIL - I saw him place a protective cloth down on the floor before he placed the ladder and tools down. I also noticed there was a bottle of cleaner with his supplies. He cleaned the inside vents as well as the compressor on the roof. He also tied off a loose wire/when checking the air handler in the ceiling. KNOWLEDGEABLE and THROROUGH - Uriel did a complete system check and then, he sat down with me to explain what was done and why. He addressed the concerns I had about some of the prior readings in terms that I could understand and shared tips that will help ensure my system runs at its most efficient. Example: A higher MERV doesn't always mean "better" and can actually restrict the airflow. He said that for my particular system I should use a MERV10 filter and change it every 3 months. He changed my filters and then, left me with two spares to use before the fall check comes. FRIENDLY - In the course of chatting with Uriel, it came up that I might benefit from having more filtered air coming into my condo. He made a recommendation for a part that would replace the standalone room air purifier I currently use. He placed this info into the after-visit summary so I can "research it and see if it fits with my needs and finances." There was zero pressure to make a purchase on the spot. And while this next item has nothing to do with the knowledge or ability of an HVAC tech, I greatly appreciate that he did NOT smell like cigarette / e-cigarette smoke or strong cologne as I have a bunny and people in my family have asthma. Prior to installing solar, I also had to get my roof redone as it had leaks. SolarFuze owner, Farid, recommended a roofing company and worked diligently with them. I decided to put new roof tiles. I worked directly with the roofer. However, SolarFuze worked with the manufacturer and supplier to make sure the materials arrived when needed as we were on a tight schedule. When the roofers started, I worked with them directly. At the same time, SolarFuze also came by my house daily to check on the roof work. SolarFuze worked with the roofers to fix all the leaks. SolarFuze and the roofers communicated with me on a daily basis of the progress. The roofers and SolarFuze made sure the entire fascia boards were repaired and repainted. SolarFuze made sure the work was completed satisfactory before installing the solar. Once the roof was completed. SolarFuze staff quickly installed the solar on top of the roof and finished with a week. Farid did all the coordination with SDGE to make sure my solar was functioning before the due date. Lastly, SolarFuze followed through to make sure that the skylight was replaced and installed properly. Overall, Farid was very patient man. He cared about his customers. He was quick to respond. Every time I called, he would answer or call me back within an hour or two. He made sure the work was done properly. He was good to work with. He was also good to his employees. The SolarFuze staff were also friendly and diligent. They cleaned after once the job was done. A new roof and solar installation are huge investment. I'm happy that I went with SolarFuze. That business was no longer in proper status this year, and we were murky on what this meant for us - I figured we would be stuck with newer, less favorable net metering rules. Jason/Heliogold reviewed everything, worked with us, and helped us secure our NEM2 system, even though they could have encouraged us into a more expensive one.
