To replace the roof, I needed someone to remove my current solar panels. I put in a request in yelp and Jeff reached out to me. Jeff was on top of his game with everything, so much that I ended up working with him to get my new solar installed as well. I decided to cancel Tesla and go directly with Jeff. This was probably the SMARTEST move I've done, as he was able to get EVERYTHING done is such a timely manner, from install to getting it up and running with SDGE. It was a huge relieve because the whole process with Tesla was just way too time consuming and slow. My only regret is that I didn't meet Jeff sooner as the process with Tesla dragged out so long, that I wasted months for no reasons. The quality of work was amazing. Its the little details that counts. For example, painting the conduit to match my roof and walls. My previous Solar company did NOT do that. On top of all this was that Jeff was super chill and easy to work with, always updated me with everything he did, so I always felt confident throughout the whole process. Highly Recommend. You won't be disappointed!!!!

Posting this here to help my rather frustrated parents…read more Jeff installed a new inverter under warranty a few years back and for whatever reason the serial number was never updated with the company. Sounds like an easy thing to fix? Unfortunately this can only be completed by an authorized technician and not by the owner of the system. My parents reached back out to Jeff a few weeks ago and he initially tried to charge them $300 to sort this out. After a bit of pushback, he agreed to only charge $100. He collected all of the necessary information and promised to get this done within a week or two. It's now been over a month, and he's stopped responding to texts messages and doesn't pick up phone calls. What happened Jeff? **Happy to remove or update this review if Jeff makes good on his promises.

It was seamless and "almost" right on the projected time frames. Through the process they kept me up to date and were available for a few questions I had along the way. The installation crew came out and they were EVEN better than the customer service and sales rep. Eduardo Naranjo needs a promotion and a raise. At then end of the installation I was sad to see the man and his team go because they were so personable and efficient. The install of my panels and batteries looks way way better than I could have imagined. I already had existing solar that I liked. But this new system blows it out the water. Anyway. Beyond Exceptional: Build Brothers & Tesla Powerwall 3 Are the Ultimate SDG&E Solution…read more In San Diego, beating SDG&E's outrageous $0.80/kWh peak rates (4 PM-9 PM) is no longer a luxury--it's a necessity for housing affordability. After helping our son purchase his home, we knew we had to address the property's failing 15-year-old Aurora inverter and aging 21-panel solar system. We were introduced to Build Brothers through our Realtor, Jeanne Liebel. Colton Frisch conducted a exceptionally detailed initial inspection that flagged the failing equipment early, allowing us to secure a sizable credit from the seller during closing to fund an upgrade. When we officially hired Build Brothers to design a replacement, they didn't just sell us panels--they engineered a complete solution based on our household usage (EV charging, A/C, and pool equipment). They installed 13 Hyundai 440W solar panels paired with a Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5 kWh) with an integrated inverter. Why the Tesla Powerwall 3 is a Game-Changer: Simply having rooftop solar isn't enough under current rate structures; avoiding grid usage when the sun goes down is the real key. Think of the Powerwall 3 like a DVR for your home's power: Load Shifting: It captures surplus solar energy generated during midday and powers the house throughout the evening peak window. Zero Grid Draw: We routinely run our AC set to 75°F from 4 PM to 9 PM and beyond, pulling 0 kWh from SDG&E. Execution & Results: The Build Brothers crew was incredible. In just 3 days, they removed the old array and inverter, repaired the roof, installed the new solar system and Powerwall 3, and even installed a dedicated NEMA 14-50 garage outlet for fast, sun-powered EV charging. Special thanks to Colton, Jesse, John Ross, Cristian, and John Perez for their professionalism and top-tier craftsmanship. If you are looking to take control of your energy bills in San Diego, I recommend contacting the Team at Build Brothers! https://buildbrothersinc.com/

They were efficient, reasonably priced, and trustworthy in an industry that feels like trust is hard to attain. Ethan was thorough and thoughtful on the start up phase, explaining the process in a way that was easy to understand, and ensuring that I understood where my panels would go and what the most effective way to maximize output was. Stefan, who installed the panels and did all the electrical work, has incredible attention to detail and most importantly, pride in his work. He finished all the details, even painting any of the newly installed metal the same color as my house to make sure it looked seamless. Stefan also noticed that a panel of my wood fencing was coming off and fixed that too without any prompting which I just thought was a great sign of a good person on top of an excellent electrician. They also upgraded my main panel which was all original and desperately needed. I was so happy to have it all done at once. I highly recommend SRE Solar! My bill is virtually non existent and I am thrilled. Thank you for everything SRE team!

Recent winter storms were just not enough to get them thoroughly clean and producing as much power as possible. Sent a text to Evergreen Solar Clean and other companies to get some quotes. Most other companies did not service my area and the one that did was way out of the ballpark! Evergreen Solar Clean was a lot more competitive with their bid and I decided to make an appointment. Blake was able to get me on their schedule and gave me a three hour time frame. About thirty mins. before my appointment, I received a text that his technician, PJ, was on the way. PJ promptly showed up at my door and after short introductions, started getting all his equipment ready and got to work. What I really loved about Evergreen Solar clean is that they use deionized water that they carry on their trucks and Sola-Tec roller brush cleaners, which are rolling brushes attached to wheels that glide across the solar panels with the deionized water flowing through them. You have to checkout their website to see this in action, it's amazing! PJ got to work and maybe about an hour later, he was all done and my solar panels look like they're brand new! All clean and shiny! I was so impressed with the job that I went ahead and signed up for twice yearly cleanings, just to ensure that my solar panels are producing as much power as possible and to keep them looking clean and shiny on my roof!
