Went with Solar symphony as their salesman knew more about the solar panels than the other companies. I got 3 total estimates, and was also interested in battery technology to store energy. The representatives from the other companies knew nothing about batteries, which was concerning to me. My major concern about this company was and still is whether they will stay in business long enough that if I have a problem with the panels that they can repair it for me, but the benefits of the lower cost outweighed this concern. They provided me by far the lowest quote of the 3 companies. Part of this is because they use some dual microinverter technology, where you only purchase 1 dual microinverter per solar panel. This allowed for me to purchase 10 microinverters rather than the 20 that were quoted to me by other companies. The other companies wanted me to upgrade my electric panel, but solar symphony told me my current panel was fine for solar without any upgrades. It turns out they were right. The whole process took only 6 weeks, and I delayed it for about a week because it took me a while to sign off on the installation plan, so it probably could have happened in 5 weeks. I got 20 total panels for my home and the process was smooth the whole way. I did not run into any major problems with this company. A couple of minor issues were that the contractor they sent out didn't seem too interested in having a long discussion with me about the installation process. Also the person in the office kept quoting me the wrong prices, even though I had documentation as to what the correct prices were. Altogether, these were minor issues, which I'd gladly experience again to get the whole process done in 6 weeks. Already saving hundreds per month on electricity. read more

Solar Symphony Solar System Our purchase of a solar system from Solar Symphony Construction was an enjoyable experience. When committing to a significant purchase such as with a solar system, homeowners like us are sensitive to return benefits versus our investment. From the out start we had the confidence that we were making the right decision to select Solar Symphony. Mark Nelson, Symphony's sales rep was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. His presentation of the system was intuitive, in depth and complete. All or our questions and concerns were answered. Excellent customer service. Superintendent Dave Adams and his installation crew did an excellent system installation. Dave kept us updated as the installation progressed. The system was installed exactly to specifications, neat, clean and all trash picked up. Note: Dave was unable to install and instruct us on system monitoring because his wife was in the hospital having a baby. Dave called us from the hospital to make sure we were taken care of which we were. Superb! Mike Curtis, Director of Operations was in touch with us throughout the contract, installation, and system power up phases. Mike came to the house and installed the system monitoring equipment and instructed us on the operation. Excellent management. All things being said, the system installation commenced on a Monday morning. The following Tuesday (8 days) the installation was complete, was locally inspected and approved, and SDGE authorized the interconnect. The switch was thrown. The system is performing with generated output power exceeding our expectations. Satisfied Solar Symphony customers, Jack and Patti Batchie, Escondido, CA read more

Subject: Unsatisfactory Service Experience with Solar Symphony I feel compelled to share my experience with Solar Symphony, as I believe it is important for potential customers to be aware of the issues I have encountered. Since my first complaint in September 2024, I have faced significant challenges actually getting anything fixed. Initially, four of my panels were non-functional. Although I managed to get those repaired, two of the panels continue to not work. As of January 2026, I am still unable to effectively track my energy usage, and I am experiencing issues with my ECU, which I was later informed has a three-year manufacturer warranty not clearly outlined in my contract. Moreover, I've been told that I need to now purchase a new ECU and cover the installation costs, despite my warranty indicating that I should not be responsible for labor charges associated with faulty "components". The repeated excuses related to APSystems ceasing manufacturing of the inverter feels inadequate, especially since my warranty is with Solar Symphony and it says they will make it right if the system is not working including by not limited to upgrading the system to ensure it is performing as promised. I have sought legal advice and am joining a class action lawsuit I discovered online with a simple google search, due to this ongoing lack of resolution. I strongly suggest potential customers approach this company with caution, as once they secure your business, the support appears to diminish significantly. read more

These people are fantastic! Highly professional, competent service, with a teamwork approach that works well because they are a smaller up and coming company, that has grown out of a 30 yr. old electrical business. Each phase of the process had someone whose specialty & responsiblilty it was to do their particular part, plus a contact person(s). Once we gave them the go ahead, they moved quickly, and kept every step moving in coordination. Easy to talk with, good communication with any of the project leads. They DEFINITELY went ABOVE and BEYOND to meet our specific needs. We went with Symphony, they had: -- a 5 star reputation on the various reviews -- somewhat more updated technology in panels, inverter(s), then a more well known big SD company. -- Their overall quote was a good $1,000- 2,000 less (Reduced overhead, only word of mouth advertising)(!) Now that we've gone through a summer of AC use, I can say the system produces at least as well, probably better then projected. Our bill for AC is already NOTHING, because of the surplus electricity produced in just March- June, covering July & Sept. My projections est. project will be PAID OFF WITHIN 9- 10 yrs. After that, it's all free for the FULL 20-25 yr. parts WARRANTIES, from both manufacturers, and Symphony Solar. We've had NO problems since install; I could highly recommend this company fully. -- Jim C., Vista, CA read more

I was impressed from start to finish with Solar Symphony. Their product is first rate and their people are professional, timely, knowledgeable and helpful. First, talking on the phone with Robert, he was able to tell me initially based on my electricity bill whether or not going solar was financially a gain for me. Second, Mark, our area's representative, came prepared, was knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process. Clearly, four our family, going solar was a win. Doing it now was calculated because of the big rebates currently available and net metering. The whole process was fairly quick, from start to finish, and the actual installation took only one day plus a couple of hours the next morning to finish up a few small things. The inspection process by the city was smooth. I was really glad we did not go with a PPA or a leasing company for solar. Our solar will be paid off within 5 years and then we will be enjoying free (or close to it) electricity for another long time! Yahoo! Solar Symphony is a great company that stands behind their product and if you do have any minor hiccups (we did with our mapping), they fix them very quickly and do whatever it takes to make things right. I highly recommend them. read more

Solar Symphony's plan was the best. Bethany, Director of operations, made a great first impression when I called for a quote. I'm an engineer, so she got right to the technical details, without a lot of sales talk. She scheduled an estimator to come out the next day: Joey went up on the roof and got measurements, and put together a detailed plan. Meanwhile Bethany prepared a comprehensive tech manual including data on panels, panel supplier, inverter, and an analysis of projected power and payback period. I had confidence the details were right, since I could see it all spelled out in the plan, and the plan was based on actually seeing the roof. Their panels were also slightly more efficient, and total cost was slightly lower than my other (3) quotes. I tweaked the plan a little, adding more panels to the south exposure, and they were very cooperative doing this (especially when you consider that I had paid no deposit at this point). Installation went without a hitch. The quality and appearance of the installation look excellent. The system has been running flawlessly, and I've been a net-producer of electricity for 5 months now. I couldn't be happier with my experience going solar. From the very beginning, Fady and Fernando were honest, patient, and always available whenever I had questions. They kept me updated throughout the entire process and made everything so much easier than I expected. Before solar, my electric bill was usually around $300/$400 every month, especially during the summer. This July, my bill was only $96, and seeing that difference has been such a relief. The battery has also given me extra peace of mind knowing I have backup power if I ever need it.. since sometimes there's power outages. What I appreciated most was that I never felt pressured. Fady and Fernando genuinely cared about making sure everything was done right and that I understood every step along the way. They were professional, responsive, and followed through on everything they promised :) If you're thinking about getting solar, I definitely recommend reaching out to Fady and Fernando. I'm so glad I made the decision, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Thank you Solar Symphony team!. read more

We recently had Solar Symphony install our solar system, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the process was handled with true professionalism. The team consistently arrived on time, ready to work, and treated both our home and project with respect. Every installer I interacted with was clearly an expert in their field, taking the time to explain what they were doing and answering my questions with patience and knowledge. A special thank you goes to Omar, our project manager. He kept everything organized, communicated clearly at every stage, and ensured the installation was smooth and efficient. His attention to detail and responsiveness gave us complete confidence in the process. If you're considering going solar, I highly recommend Solar Symphony. They deliver not only top-quality work but also an outstanding customer experience. read more

Our experience with Solar Symphony has been extremely disappointing. In 2021, we purchased a solar system with battery backup--an investment of over $10,000 for the battery --based on a recommendation from Southern California Edison. Unfortunately, the company responsible for the app used to monitor and control the system went bankrupt. Since then, Solar Symphony has offered no viable solution to restore access or functionality. As it stands, we have no way to monitor the system, control the battery backup, or adjust any settings. Despite repeated outreach over the past year and promises of a fix, Solar Symphony has ultimately walked away from the issue, leaving us with an incomplete and underperforming system. We strongly caution others: buyer beware. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Solar Symphony for any residential solar installation or service. read more

We had a great experience with Solar Symphony from start to finish. Fady was always available to answer our questions, kept us updated throughout the entire process, and made everything easy to understand. He never made us feel pressured and was always professional and responsive. Omar did a fantastic job as our project manager. He coordinated everything smoothly, kept the project moving, and made sure we always knew what was happening next. Now that our system is up and running, we're very happy with it. Our electric bill has gone down significantly, and having access to the Tesla app makes it easy to monitor everything right from our phone. We're really happy we chose Solar Symphony and appreciate everything Fady and Omar did to make the process so smooth. We would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking about going solar. read more

Solar Symphony was the best company I have worked with.... Maybe ever. From the first meeting to give us a bid to the last meeting to show us how the system works, the professionalism and customer service was exemplary. They performed more work with better components for less money than any of the Companies we contacted. Their staff kept us abreast of the paperwork and permit progression. Helped us with our portion of the paperwork. Stayed on schedule with installation (early in fact). Performed professional installation including special mounts for a Spanish tile roof. In all...... EXCELLENT!! Ps. make sure to ask them about the HERO program. read more

From the first conversation, Fady was straight up, answered every question I had, and never made me feel like he was just trying to sell me something. Anytime I had a question, one of them got back to me quickly. Overall, the experience was way easier than I expected. I picked Solar Symphony because they were so highly recommended on YELP and I was not disappointed! They did all the work for HOA approval and Summeur stalked the HOA committee regularly to make sure they expedited approval :) 16 days after the panels were installed on my roof I flipped the switch and am now on Solar. It was faster and easier than I could have imagined. I sat through 2 hour solar presentations from other companies and appreciated that Rob understood I was an educated consumer and didn't waste my time trying to convince me to buy something I didn't need. Their price and quality speak for themselves, they don't need pushy salesman. read more
